As chain restaurants go, this one has consistently been a decent option for fusion Chinese food that has shown greater care taken in its menu and recipes than your run of the mill Chinese restaurant. There always seems to be a promotion going on besides their loyalty program and most dishes won't disappoint. The menu is constantly evolving to keep it fresh. However, when wait staff gets in the weeds you'd be better off strolling the mall than taking a table. Don't expect ultra authentic dishes. Most Chinese food is adapted to local palates. This review pains me to write. We tried to have our anniversary dinner at this restaurant and got there around 4 pm. We like to eat early. There were two tables occupied at that time , but we were informed that there was an hour wait for a table and to come back in an hour. This made little sense to us ,despite our hostess, who was quite indifferent verging on rude, indicating that call aheads , none of whom were visible had priority. This restaurant does not take reservations and it appeared to us that we could have easily been seated and out before others arrived. We have frequented this restaurant often in the past and were looking forward to this our first post vaccine dine in experience. Very disappointed. I order from this PF Changs through GrubHub regularly, and as of late, I have had unpleasant experiences with this location. On one occasion, they forgot to include my rice with my $30 order. Most recently, they neglected to include utensils with my order. Get it together. Unacceptable. read more

Didn't even make it in the door for a noon lunch. No hostess for 10 minutes. Only 5 tables filled with patrons. 2 of them left while we waited in line telling us they were not being served as they walked out. When hostess finally arrived she didn't make eye contact or say hello. She fiddled around with something at her hostess station for about a minute before she greeted us. Best to have reservation, great service; however, if you order the Surf and Turf the lobster tail is NOT laid atop of it, but cut up into small pieces with some sort of batter but it was tastey. We were there for a friend's birthday but they did not offer him a free dessert and the bill was all screwed up, but the food is by far scrumptious. Went today for my wife's birthday with the family. Food took incredibly long, waitress didn't know about wife's birthday despite telling host twice, and spicy chicken lacked spice (which the general manager told me I could compensate with some side spice at the table). Food was good overall and the environment is nice but the items mentioned above put a damper in the meal. I did not ask for any financial concessions and this pf changs did not offer any despite them knowing about the issues. We are a fan of pf changs but this was our worst experience yet. read more

The waiter that seats you was sitting and didn't see us walk in so we waited for a hot min until another worker let her know (there was no utensils). Our waiter was nice and friendly but took forever to come and check on us when he came out with the food he just dropped it off and left and gave us no utensils and no one was around we waited for at least 4min when I decided to get up and find someone. I then realized that two waiters that help with people being seated were sitting down I understand one was pregnant I get it but the other woman was just sitting down on her phone not looking up at all so I decided to ask an employee that was actually working for help. When we were ready to leave he again took forever so one of his coworkers helped us out and my food was good but my friends food said that there wasn't much flavor in it. Walked in at 9:15 on a Friday night, sat right down and ordered. The spicy tuna roll was good, pork dumplings (fried) were delicious, even my picky 11 year old loved them. The kids fried rice dishes were tasty & plenty for leftovers, my Kung Pow shrimp was awesome (wish they still offered scallops) and my wife's Hoikken noodle dish was tasty, if not a little too gingery for me, she enjoyed it though. The waiter mixed my sauces without asking me, which I thought was inappropriate. I tried the mixed sauce but found it way to spicy. I ordered fried rice with shrimp and the rice was overcooked, the shrimp was rubbery and the rice tasted as if a home cook made it. For $10 for the gross rice it was overpriced and not worth it. I also ordered Crispy Honey Shrimp and it was soggy and had one taste to is: Sweet. I could of had it for dessert. My family and I got a reservation for Thursday at 6:30pm. Service was attentive for our party of eight but the food was unimpressive and disappointing. Overall, it was reminiscent of Chinese take-out and so I consider it overwhelmingly pricey for the quality of food offered at this location. I would likely find another restaurant for a reunion. If you want to experience PF Chang's at their best, come to Stony Point in Richmond, VA and they'll show you how their food and service is executed to perfection. Didn't like your first bite? Accidentally got a double order for a cocktail? Missing the tofu you requested in your meal? No problem, they'll rectify it without question. Oh and, keep the dish you weren't satisfied with initially. Also, no worries, they take it off your bill. And the extra cocktail? Sorry for the inconvenience, it's on the house! It's been a while since I thought it wise to share a recent experience I had yesterday at PF Chang's in Destiny. It was a simple enough order at the bar Lettuce wraps, spicy tuna sushi and Pork potstickers. The lettuce wraps and sushi came out first and the rice for the sushi was hard as a rock and there was no actual insides to sushi no fish at all. The filling for the lettuce wraps tasted really weird like it's been cooked in a wok that was repeatedly burnt. After 15 minutes or so we still didn't have our potstickers and the bartender finally noticed and went to check 10 minutes after that she brought out a sizzling plate with 6 potstickers burnt to the actual pan and walked away . After prying them off and flipping the blackened potstickers over I told someone else I couldn't really eat them . They kindly removed them and asked if we wanted another batch I said no we waited a half hour for those with only about 10 people total in the restaurant (Should've been a sign ). The bartender came back apologized and asked if we wanted a dessert for the inconvenience. I said sure to go please as my son was waiting for us. After checking my bill she was kind enough to charge me for the cake with the terrible dinner . $72 for the worst dinner I've had in awhile. Go to Koto don't waste your time or money read more

One star sums it up. Terrible. First the service: I walked in around 1:30pm, after the busy lunch hour was over, the restaurant was half empty. There were many waiting staff, doing all sorts of things, except serving customers. I sat down for 15 minutes before anybody made eye contact with me. Another 15 minutes before my water showed up. (Not a word of apology). Other than taking the order, the waiter nowhere to be seen. Food: I asked for Calamari, sold out! Stir fried spinach with garlic: came out uncooked. Singapore noodle: too sour, they must have squeezed a whole lemon in it. Part of the dish was burnt. Bill: Some other waiting staff came with the bill, the returned raw spinach was charged at 50%. Had to find my invisible waiter to clarify. He blamed it on the girl behind counter but fixed it. Did I mention I wasted another 15 minute sorting through this? If you are craving for Chinese food, go to the food court at the other end of the mall, at least the serving staff have smile. read more

Chang's a couple of months ago and I wasn't really a fan after I left, the food could've been better, they sort of over complicated some of their menu items, but their entrees weren't really that tasty and when you first get the food, it's scorching hot, and I had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. The staff was friendly, my waiter was really nice. Anyways, I had better Chinese food at take out restaurants and my recommendation is. We got here to a host that appeared to not want to seat us, asked a few times if we wanted to sit at the bar, so we did, with all the staff that were on their break eating (and got a lot more attention than us), we waited a few minutes before we got any attention, took at least ten to get water, and even longer to actually get the drink. The bar is obviously where the staff goes to waste time. The food took a while despite there being more employees behind the bar than people sitting at it. The girl behind the bar has spent more time talking about her eyebrow makeup than she has actually working. Over 15 minutes, we expected it all at once but that was not the case today. Meanwhile there's literally 5 people that work here standing at the end of the bar along with the manager who didn't seem to care. Another ten minutes later we got the rest of our meal. The salad left a lot to be desired, the ribs were really good, and the lettuce wraps weren't bad. Made a reservation for 7pm. Arrived at the restaurant at 6:50pm. We were seated at 7:25pm after my wife complained. When we sat down about a quarter of the tables in the restaurant were empty but waiting to be bused. Our waitress was courteous and friendly but not very attentive. We ended up ordering 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a beer, a soda and the check came to $53. Everything tasted great. Although I liked the food a lot, I won't be returning any time soon. I've only eaten here once but made a lasting impression. We sat at the bar got right in with no waiting. Bartender was friendly and not annoying like those weird bartenders that like to include themselves in your conversations etc just because they think that's what bartenders do. I got the tuna poke dish and it was AMAZING. I was truly impressed by all the flavors in this dish. Ingredients included raw tuna, seaweed, ginger, onion, mango, and an orange dressing. Overrated Was given a pager and waited 10 minutes to be seated. When we finally were seated I was amazed to see only half the tables with customers. We sat at the table for 15 minutes and finally a woman who wasn't even covering that table asked if anyone has helped us. I would have walked out earlier but if was fun to see just how many employees could walk past us and how long it would take. As for the food, it is ok. Way overpriced. I can get just as good food at a local takeout and get twice as much for half the price. I have no problem paying for good food, there was just nothing exceptional about it. We moved here from Las Vegas which has no shortage of great Chinese restaurants, but Chang's was always a cut above. When P F Chang's came to Syracuse we were very happy. No more. ANY strip mall Chinese take out can beat this place and at better prices. They served me a "strawberry Limeade which was water with a few strawberries and lime peels for 3.95. My wife's appetizer came first which were dried out ribs that looked like a plate of dead meat. My appetizer, served almost after my wife had finished hers were two Spring Rolls that were OK, but we were not given any plates and had to stop an annoyed waitress serving other customers to get plates. Our lunch arrived 35 minutes later and people around us who came later than us got theirs before us. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was watery and tasteless. No wonderful oriental spices in sight. The Mongolian Beef was sticky and salty and served with over cooked green beans that tasted like pieces of cord. The rice was tasteless American rice, not the wonderful Jasmine rice called for. We were there for lunch, but the bill had the dinner prices. We were told to read the fine print. No lunch prices on Sunday. I notice many bad reviews. Isn't there somebody out there who can do something? We won't go back unless they do. read more

Dirty Table must have been washed with a dirty rag Flatware was dirty Wine glasses unpolished and water stains, one had lipstick stains on it. The candle at our table was unlit. When our waiter lit it up we could see greasy fingerprints all over the glass. We looked around and all the table candles had fingerprint smudges on them. Check it out when if you go there. Food was not worth the money at all. I'm convinced they serve the microwavable dinners you can get from Walmart. I had the seseme chicken with white rice, and a cup of egg drop soup. Half of the plate was dry/hard white rice and the other half consisted of about 7 small pieces of cold chicken. The soup was decent, but it had a piece of plastic bag in it (not very tasty). I gave this restaurant two stars solely because of the classy, modern environment and the friendly service. Other than that, the food and portion size need some work! P.S. i was very concern before eating here because of their yelp rating, but after getting my food i couldn't understand why they have this bad rating. the service is very good, and staff are nice and helpful. the atmosphere is very nice, modern and relaxing. it's perfect places for groups as well as a date. the food portion was proper, not too big not too small and prices are fair. it definitely wasn't the best Chinese food that I've ever had, but it was one of the good ones. I ordered my food from local favorite menu and it was a good choice. soup was very rich and flavorful. i had hot and sour soup, I like this soup with more flavor, but it's just my personal preference and nothing was wrong with soup. our waiter was very polite and responsive. he checked on us couple of times, not too much to be annoying, just enough to make sure everything is ok. This use to be my absolute favorite restaurant, I use to go to this location every week, but now the quality of food has degraded to a whole different level at this location. I placed an online order, paid for extra chicken but some how the chef managed to give me less chicken than a normal order. We had also order drinks, the bartender filled 8oz cup up to its neck with ice to pour minimal amount of coconut cooler that they charge $4.00 for. Super disappointed. If a manager reads this, when a client points out something please take a minute to listen to them, I understand you might deal with mean customers all day and easy fix is just to refund the money, but if you actually ask them what's wrong maybe you can fix a thing or two to make this location better again. read more
