Food has stayed consistent over the years. The main dishes are always a must. Always get: the chicken lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, shrimp etc. The banana dessert is always good. Today, we decided to take a trip to The Woodlands for lunch, and we weren't disappointed. There was little to no wait to be seated. Our server, Angelo, greeted us with a smile and was incredibly pleasant. He asked about food allergies, and after I explained mine, he returned with a special menu and brought over the manager. The manager was warm, welcoming, and took the time to explain that my meal would be prepared separately to avoid cross-contamination. He also recommended the safest menu options, which I really appreciated. Our food was served, although my husband's meal arrived 15 minutes later than mine. Despite that, my food was excellent. Angelo's humor, attentiveness, and genuine care made the experience even better. We used to like the Singapore noodles they took them off the menu for a while and put them back on, however the new recipe is not as good as the original, way to heavy on the curry. I had the kung pow beef it was under cooked had a powdery texture the celery and bell peppers were completely raw and I had a cup of peanuts dumped on top, and the brown rice was a sticky lump. However the chicken lettuce wraps were delicious. The waiter was friendly and the place was clean. The bathroom was ok, had a bunch of toilet paper pieces on the floor but overall I believe it was clean and was stocked. Just disappointed in the food. It is usually a solid 4 star go to . The dynamite shrimp had just the right amount of spice but lacked some flavor. The salad was delicious! Love that I basically tasted peanut in every bite, but if you prefer a lighter /less dressing it might help to order it with protein or choose something else. The orange chicken was also good, quite crunchy + sauce was tangy but not too intense! We ended up sharing since the serving was pretty big and we still had leftovers. We enjoyed the pan fried dumplings that are presented with a dramatic pour of chili sauce, the Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. I upgraded to noodles on one dish, well worth the upcharge. Writing this as I'm being taken to urgent care with severe stomach pain. **update, food poisoning was the cause of my discomfort. Our food came out and was barely lukewarm, everything was overly sweet or bitter. Waiter barely came over to ask us anything. How I ended up paying almost 86 dollars for the $19 a person meal and it was two of us and a kids meal is beyond me. The manager, who didn't have the respect to come talk to me, gave a $20 discount... the math isn't mathing here. Under or table was a sea of napkins and spilled drink and food that wasn't cleaned up from a previous service. Absolutely the worst meal I've ever eaten. How the pass a health inspection is something I would definitely like to know. Also when did a flashlight become necessary to see a menu? Sad to say, I need to maybe cut back on the number of times I come to this location. Tough to get a decent cocktail with a Chinese menu, so this was always the place I went to when I wanted both. Nothing about it is really Chinese food, but that is debatable. I have been to China / HK many many times. But the service has gone down hill. 5+ mins to be recognized when I sat down. 5+ mins to have my drink order taken. I arrived 12 mins before 3p (when the lunch menu ends) and ordered my meal at 259p. It took 10 mins for my entree to arrive and when I asked about my soup not coming, the server left the entree and walked away... Never to come back. No silverware was given to me and when I asked for chopstix, I was told, "Oh they weren't in the napkin?" I asked for them to take my entree back and to make it fresh after I receive my soup... and that took 5 more mins. I had to ask the bartender to do this. 1 check up on my meal when I was almost finished. A few years ago, there was this older redheaded woman and though she was super rude, she got sh*t done when it came to service. Servers are more interested in talking to other workers or people they know and not cultivating new "regulars!" Sad to say, this location has gone down the tubes. Time for new management and .... TRAINING for the staff. Customers pay the rent and your tips. Want to make more tips? Give better service. It's a franchise chain, so the expectations are not the same as an upscale steakhouse! Our waitress was super nice and friendly, but would sometimes take a long time to come check on us in between. We started off with the veggie spring rolls and chili garlic green beans. The spring rolls were absolutely terrible. Don't recommend them at all. They were super bland with no flavor. The dipping sauce made it slightly better. I did enjoy the green beans. They were super flavorful with chili garlic coating. I do with the beans itself were seasoned before mixing it with the chili garlic, because you could tell the beans itself were a bit bland. I ordered the sesame chicken stock velvet style, which means they steam/grill the chicken instead of batter and frying it. It was cooked really well and I enjoyed the veggies and sauce it was mixed with. Definitely a bit more saucy than I like, but overall delicious paired with white rice. If you want a side of fried rice or lo mein instead of white/brown rice it's an extra $4.59, which is ridiculous. My dad ordered the Chang's spicy chicken and requested it to be a bit more spicy. It was not spicy at all. He requested to add some veggies to it, which were $.99 per veggie. My dad wasn't a huge fan of the meal, I thought it was okay and would've been better if the chicken was steamed vs fried in my opinion. The total cost of our meal came out to $78 (prices have definitely gone up over time). This location in near the mall as well, which probably contributes to the higher prices. Not a huge fan of this place like I used to be, but it was decent overall. Wouldn't come back here unless I had some sort of gift card or came here with others. read more

My goodness. Decided to get dinner here. We haven't been here in over 10 years. But we wanted to try the Korean chicken they call the golden feast. Well this was horrible. Everything on the menu taste like frozen dinners. I can't express how terrible this food was. And people are in here eating like it's top tier. The only thing that was absolutely delicious was the fried green beans. Let's get to this Korean chicken. My my my....it was a beautiful presentation. Then I went to dig in. The middle was ice cold. I had to tell my husband to stick his finger in it. It was totally unbelievable. I told the waiter to stick his finger in it so he can see this was not your typical cold fried chicken because it was fried earlier in the day. This was frozen in the middle. I am positive this chicken is premade fried chicken like the fried chicken TV dinners. The chicken was sent back three times and the third time they heated the gold tin that the chicken was in. The tin container was hot and yet again the chicken was ice cold. Of course we did not eat it. Many would have been worried about salmonella but that is the least to worry about considering the chicken was premade cooked chicken. Totally processed and disgusting. The waiter was good about returning the food and the manager was apologetic but didn't really seem to care much. PF chang's y'all need to get it together. read more

Pretty decent place for some good asian food. Not sure I would say it's authentic but pretty good to satisfy a small craving. Came for lunch to celebrate an occasion during the week. The parking is as usual at the woodlands mall area, pretty much have to walk a bit either from the nearest lot or the garage. It wasn't too busy so we were able to get a table quickly once inside. Our server was super nice and helpful but we did have to keep reminding her to bring a few items throughout that we had already asked for. The food was pretty good. We had some lunch specials, appetizers and a dessert. the normal items seem a little overpriced but the lunch specials are a good price. The best thing to me was their chocolate wall cake - super rich and heavenly. We couldn't even finish it between our group! The ambience here was calm and peaceful during the day. My wife and I have been to P.F. Chang's many times at several locations, from California, Utah, and Texas. Though this is the first time I'm reviewing them. It's long overdue. On this last visit in the Woodlands (2nd visit here) as at all the locations I've been to, the restaurant is decorated very nicely with a Chinese motif obviously. Deep corporate pockets can easily fund such faux lavish decor. The hostesses and wait staff were welcoming and friendly. our server, Hillary was very friendly and pleasant and attentive. Where I have always had issue, is with the quality of the food. It has been consistently poor at all the locations I've been to. I usually get the orange chicken, and it always comes out mushy and bland. This time I tried the Broccoli Chicken made spicy, the broccoli looked fresh, but the chicken had the texture and consistency of chicken that was suffering from freezer burn., And their idea of spicy, and my idea of spicy are clearly different. That is to say it was not spicy at all. I had also ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup, it was OK, but I've had much better. My wife ordered Pork Dumplings and Changs Spicy Chicken, her chicken had the same freezer burnt texture and lack of flavor. Our party also split some Lettuce Wraps, again, we've had better. My wife's stomach was off for two days as was our friend who was visiting. I find the food very sub par and extremely expensive. I truthfully feel the food at Panda Express is better, and more reasonably priced. We have no desire to ever return. read more

When you go to a CHINESE restaurant, there should not be PAD THAI or SUSHI on the menu. Bad start... only Chinese dishes were ordered. Prices seemed okay... the menu was pretty disappointing and I didn't see anything authentic on the Chinese menu list.
