Sensational coffee, muffins & service! Old bright orange train car on the side of hwy 1. Picnic tables outside, lots of personality inside. Looks like a high quality spot! Even the coffee in the carafe looks great! I was super excited to try for the 1st time today! Can't believe I have passed this place for years! Shame on me! Checked out all the insane options online, there are a lot! Amazing amount of syrups, cool drinks and of course you can create your own too! I got an espresso con panna with a bit of cherry & mocha syrup, which was divine! Also the Jordanator was sweet yet still strong! Perfection! The muffin, 10 minutes before closing was fresh, crunchy from the streusel and moist! Customer service was fantastic, kind, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. I stopped in before work in the morning to grab a cold brew and a lox on a jalapeño bagel, but unfortunately, they were out of all three: lox, cold brew, and jalapeño bagels. Bit of a rough start. I pivoted and ordered a Flaming Bacon on a cheese bagel and looked around for a pastry for my lunch but there weren't any visible options. I also asked for a mocha frappe, but they were out of frappe powder too, which apparently is essential to making it. At that point, I just went with an iced matcha and my Flaming Bacon bagel. The employees were friendly and apologized for all the shortages, which I appreciated. They seem to be having problems with inventory since I was at this establishment about a month ago and they were also out of frappe powder back then. The barista let me know the matcha was a different brand than usual, and honestly, it tasted just like milk. I asked for a bit more matcha, but even after that, it still just tasted like milk now a pale green. I didn't want to seem rude and return it again, so I just left feeling kind of disappointed; drink in hand but not really satisfied. The bagel ended up being ok ingredients wise but it was tough to eat. Tasted pretty stale. The staff was super kind and clearly doing their best, It just feels like management needs to get a handle on keeping the basics in stock. I saw this place driving down to Santa Cruz and thought it was adorable. The cafe is in cute little caboose car, I love trains and appreciate interesting architecture so I knew I wanted to try it. It's worth stopping by for their rose milk tea and Flaming Bacon Bagel because they put hot Cheetos in it! Yum. They had a pretty good selection coffees and tea, so in essence it's a coffee cafe in addition to a milk tea place. It's the perfect pickup for the nearby hiking trails. read more

This place used to be so good! The decor was cute and staff was friendly and receptive to requests. When we visited about 3 months ago, we found that they had changed ownership. We were disappointed in the sandwiches and drinks (especially the boba), but we figured the new owners were still working out the kinks. Today, we decided to give them another try but ended up leaving without ordering. We wanted to get a bagel sandwich, but they only had jalapeño bagels. When we inquired if there were other flavors, the cashier pointed to the sign and said that was all they had. She really didn't seem to care. Awesome little shop off the coast of Pacifica. It seems like they have everything from boba, to coffee, to juice, to smoothies. They also have breakfast foods and bagels. It would be nice to stop by if I need a drink break especially with the weather so warm. Boba options also had adjustable sugar/ice levels and lots of the usual boba toppings to choose from. Which was surprising as the inside looks like a very small shop. Iced matcha latte w/ soy: perfectly sweetened, with a strong matcha taste and perfect amt. of milk. Iced Thai tea: good Thai tea flavor (not all sugar and milk) boba was cooked well. Outside seating area was also close and cute. What's not to love- the train caboose, the quaint decor, the location right off beautiful coastal trails and not a chain restaurant or coffee shop in sight. Just my thing, I am so for supporting local businesses! And turned out other people are hankering for the same because this place was busy. We came here for a caffeine fix and refreshments after hiking the Mori Point trail on a sunny fall afternoon. We got their Mango smoothie which was made in front of us with real fruit, a passion fruit boba tea and a frappe from their secret menu (I forget the name but it had German chocolate cake mixed in). Worst bagel I've had in a long time. If you're going to charge $15 for a bagel, make sure it's not burnt, not stale, and has more than one thin slice of lox and half a slice of tomato. Their inside space is really small but very cool aesthetics keep you locked inside with eyes wandering. I must say their drinks are very unique like their Love train with luscious cherry mocha Yum! and the last train home with cherry mocha plus blueberry and yuzu! What combos! Iced or hot they definitely hit Da spot! The passion fruit with popping boba was also a nice little alternative if your not in the mood for coffee. So with the bagels, how about the bacon with some hot flaming Cheetos, yeah very interesting but good! They also have smoothies available and other sorts of hand held goodies for the roads. My bf isn't one to be spontaneous or even plan surprises... so when he said one day the night before "dress warm, we're going to Pacifica tomorrow" - I was confused. The only clue I got aside from that was that it was something I like, I texted my bff to chat and guess. Of course she was like "omg he's gonna propose", but haha no...nty. I honestly thought we were gonna go on some fun drive or go karting, but lo and behold - he pulls up to this cute little caboose and I just look over... "You took me to Pacifica for tacos? (my line of sight was the taqueria in the same lot)" Yes, boba and coffee basically runs my life. I was super excited when I realized what we were here for... then sad we brought the car that only has 2 cup holders. I loved how quirky the shop looked and that it was an actual train car! The employees were very nice and informative, space may be small but everything was organized and clean. Definitely loved that they also allow small shops to advertise/sell on a counter as well. With the minimal space, it's done very well. There are lots of little baked goodies available and there are bagels too! For drinks, it was quite overwhelming for the amount of choices. They have a top 5 above the boba menu, but I opted for my usual passionfruit green tea. I should've gotten milk tea to establish my base... coffee seemed more important. The boba was a bit soft for my liking, still had a bit of a bite to it though at least. I also got a butter rum latte with oat milk. I could tastes the rum-ish flavor a bit, very pleasant all together. Bf got a matcha latte, very strong matcha flavor and he enjoy it (50% sweet, good balance as he puts it). Final Thoughts: I definitely want to come back to try other drinks + boba. Bf loved the coffee beans that he picked a few packs up... I'm pretty sure we'll be back to stock up. read more

What a cute coffee shop! Stopped by on my way to Half Moon Bay to get a caffeine boost. Love the concept of a coffee shop inside a train car. My order was simple, an oat milk latte and breakfast bagel on a jalapeño bagel. The staff was friendly and prepared my order quickly. The latte was nice and hot and mildly sweetened. I ate half my bagel right away and it was perfectly toasted, warm, and cheesy. Unfortunately, I left the second half of the bagel sitting too long (about 30 min). The bagel became very hard and stiff, so I couldn't really chew through it and had to toss. All in all, a decent coffee shop with charming quirks. read more

I loved this place and the couple who owned it. I knew something was off when I walked in and no longer saw the pug art and jewelry for sale section ....the awesome boba menu was gone and the entire interior changed. The most disappointing thing was the two coffee drinks I had ordered in the past changed drastically. They the people working the counter didn't really know the drinks I asked for. I figured these three were just new employees hired on and were learning the menu. The coffee drinks tasted AWFUL, I'm sorry to say that they were so bad I couldn't finish one and the other I threw away after just a couple of sips. Now I learn that it's under new ownership, it explained why the drinks were so off. This hit me hard. This place had served one of THE best tasting boba teas in the entire town and their coffee drinks were also up there as well. I'm so sad to know we've lost two wonderful owners with a meticulous taste for quality tea and coffee drinks. Came here to order drinks while my hubby was in line for BBQ. It is a petite cute cafe and barista are nice and friendly. I would say it is so impressive....lots of options on the syrups and drinks. Way more than those well known coffee shops. We have couple drinks. And we are surprised by their iced coffee. They used COFFEE ICE CUBES instead. We do like it a lot. What a nice little coffee and tea spot in Pacifica! I got to try out P-Town Coffee & Tea which is inside this little red caboose and it's a really unique choice for a coffee shop. The decor and the artwork inside is also so cool to look at while you wait for your drink. The service is also pretty friendly as well. You can tell the owners are also passionate about what they do. Parking is also a breeze and usually it's not busy. I ordered the Medium Chai Latte ($6.75). It also costs an extra $1 to add almond milk to the drink. I definitely regret getting a medium instead of a large because it feels like a better bang for your buck and also because I finished my drink within minutes with how good their chai latte was. They made the drink incredibly quick too. The chai didn't have an overwhelming amount of spice and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was a nice balance. The price is a little up there, but thats pretty standard for most coffee/tea shops nowadays and I would rather give that to a small local business instead of a big name chain. read more

Grabbed a bite after having hike the morning. This place has great coffee, many options to choose from. I had the boat, which is everything but the bagel. I would say that was just okay for me. But my friend's all enjoyed their bagels and commented on how delicious it was. The place is quiet small and for COVID times can be a bit difficult to social distance. So I would say it's best for pick-up. They offer a dog bowl in the mailbox that you can use if you have your pet.The staff was friendly and warm. read more

Obsessed with this place! I've driven by so many times and finally stopped after a hike at mori point. The new owners are a couple and they are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us with proper social distancing. I ordered an iced coffee and they have it on lock down! They freeze their iced coffee in to ice cubes so none of that being watered down with ice business, and then you fill your cup with actual iced coffee over the coffee ice cubes. Brilliant! My sister in law ordered a veggie bagel sandwich and I basically was jealous the whole time watching her eat it, it was that good. Exceptional service, the best iced coffee, and the most delicious bagel sandwich. I cannot wait to come back. The new owners took over in March and need our support! I hate giving bad reviews and I rarely ever do. I'm all about supporting local/small businesses'. I've been checking this shops hours of operation for the past month and they're so inconsistent, they were even closed for a week during the month of March. I finally had the chance to visit around 11am, prime time for some coffee and bagels. When we walked in they looked like they weren't ready to serve anyone due to their coffee machine not being set up. We ordered two coffees and bagels (lox and the ashlee). When we took a bite of our bagel, they were stale and extremely hard. And to put icing on the cake, I found THREE long black hairs in my LOX bagel. I kid you not. I was so disgusted I immediately threw it away. For $30, we waited 25 minutes for our order when we were the only customers there at the time. Coffee was not good either. Will not be coming back anytime soon or ever. It was not worth the time and headache of even getting an order through at this place. read more

I always drove past this place but never went in because I figured someday I'd go.. well, that "someday" finally came & it was worth it! My friend was visiting and we only had a few hours together in the morning so I quickly looked on yelp to find the best place to go-- and whaddya know, P-Town coffee & Tea had great reviews, so I called and they said they were open during covid! It's a small trailer looking place and the menu is quite diverse-- I ordered the single shot Lavender latte and a breakfast bagel with cinnamon raisin buns and my friend ordered "the 56" with a pumpernickel bun and a small matcha latte. We got Oat milk substitutes and were surprised to see the assortment of bagel choices to choose from, as well as the fact that this place sells boba?! * tip: we took it to Rockaway beach right nearby and the nice lookout and warm drinks made for a good morning experience!
