Used to serve anything that's both American and Italian, until Vanessa had made it into a family run small business restaurant which was absolutely welcoming for both locals and tourists alike since 2004. It's the only reason I come to 7 Mile House during Asian History Month that aims for Filipino fun. My specialty drink: Ube Colada (non-alcoholic). I want to try the Lambanóg, but it's few years late and I wouldn't mind since I prefer any drink that's zero proof. This creamy purple smoothie is so refreshing, I wouldn't mind getting a brain freeze. Main course? Actually, I take something out of the lunch menu, which is Beyond Burger; pickles at the top, lettuce, tomato, and cheese; old school American style with a plant based patty! I eat the fries first since they're fresh and chewy. Wish I stick around for an appetizer or a salad; but given that there's several people dining indoors while few of us outdoors, I'll have to pass. Before I walk a couple of blocks toward 7 Mile House, I noticed the gas prices for both gas stations are just as high as near my neighborhood. I'll be wondering how long will a famous family run restaurant can go an extra mile before it runs out of steam. My best bet is that we must support each other as local communities, just like how the 7 Mile House of today had kept us together for generations.

It looks random at first but at the same time, very unique. It reminds me of a dive bar for truck drivers from the outside and heading inside, it also gives you that feeling. It's a pretty small restaurant sports bar with majority of the seating being outside. I ordered their Sisig Manila Style, Sizzling Pork Adobo with rice, Lumpia Sampler, Calamari, and Ube Cheesecake for dessert. The Sisig is our favorite pick because it's fatty with that nice sizzling taste and texture. It's bold with a good flavor and pairs nicely with the runny egg. This dish is a must. The adobo was just ok. Honestly, it wasn't my type of adobo and was too watery, thin, and slightly bland. It just tasted like watered down soy sauce and light vinegar over shredded pork meat. The calamari was a big portion and went great with the garlic aioli sauce. I also didn't like the lumpia's. The lumpia was soggy and way too bland with little filling. It didn't have that authentic taste to them which was a bummer. I'd avoid this sampler. We thoroughly enjoyed their Ube cheesecake though! It was sweet, tasty, and had a nice cream cheese texture. The makapuno coconut shreds paired great with the cheesecake and made it so unique. We'd definitely order this again. Overall, I thought it was just ok. I listened to the hype and yes, it was too much. For those that aren't Filipinos or didn't grow up having authentic homemade Filipino food, you could tell the difference. It's almost as if the dishes are "Americanized" and lacks the real ingredients in the dishes. Truthfully, I wouldn't come back but hey, there's a lane for everyone and I know this place is beloved by many. That's important.

So be prepared to make a few rounds around the residential area to find parking. Glad we were here early as I heard that the line is usually long. A lady greeted us at the restaurant, very friendly and seated us right away. Cute small restaurant. Love the old photos of SF in the olden days . We ordered the San Bruno florentine Benedict and Western omelette. Before you order, know that the portions are huge! All the Benedict's comes with 3 poached eggs on an English muffin with hash brown or tater tots with your choice of stuffings. It was very rich, heavy breakfast and delicious! The mushroom and spinach with the sausage was savory. I love how the egg yolks just falls apart everywhere when you cut it in the middle. The hollandaise sauce was just the right amount. It was very filling. The omelette was like a calzone. They stuffed that omelette with so much filling that my hubby was loving it!!! He said it was full of flavors and all the stuffings were soo delicious he could not stop eating. Halfway to his omelette you can tell he was full but he was a trooper and almost finished everything. lol. Anyway, we left the restaurant overly stuffed but happy!!! We should have stopped eating when our tummy told us to stop, but it was delicious and fresh so we kept digging in. That was a mistake, lol. This place by far is one of the best breakfast place I've been to. Come hungry. Will be back!

It comes with 2 large pieces of pork chop, garlic fried rice topped with crispy garlic, one egg (cooked to your preference) and either diced tomatoes or pineapples. I am always left super full from this meal and sometimes I can even split it into 2! It also stays crispy and reheats well in the airfryer. They serve other Filipino foods as well such as tocino, longanisa, baby bangus, etc. Each plate comes with the garlic fried rice, egg and either tomatoes or pineapples. What I absolutely love about this place is the quick service and cheap eats. Their plates used to be cheaper but of course due to inflation, the price is still unmatched in the city. This place is cash only and does not have indoor seating. There is also a similar restaurant located in Daly City by top of the hill called Gateway Kitchen that has almost the same exact menu + prices for their plates. Parking can be difficult in this area but the service is so quick that you can just double park in front. I will continue to visit this place over and over again. I absolutely love coming here :')

More recently, I also hit a small bad beat jackpot for roughly $450 table share, which kept the experience exciting. I was introduced to "the dark side" aka baccarat here and ultimately lost around $50,000 over time. There were many times when I was up though, which really feeds into the dopamine and adrenaline receptors. Generally, when I win - I tip the staff generously because I think of myself as a philanthropist. Anywho, very engaging and exciting environment, but also a clear reminder that gambling should be treated strictly as occasional entertainment. I think of the loss as paying for someone's salary - so technically I'm the boss xD The dealers, floormen, service staff, and security are consistently professional, and the games are well-run and active. The night shift management can feel cold or unwelcoming toward players who are not actively gambling. I understand the perspective, though, as other patrons may not appreciate lingering presence if someone is not playing. Overall, the room runs well, but the customer experience at night can feel uneven depending on management and expectations.
