This is officially my new airport dining choice when available. I'm not a coffee drinker but they spend an equal amount of love on their matcha and chai!! This warms my heart! The pumpkin spice chai available year round (joy!) and the banana cram matcha (so far seasonal). Both not too sweet. Would like some kind of cream on top - still great as is. Both times I went for the breakfast burrito. Big fan of the veggie breakfast burrito with added bacon :) The chipotle sauce is the liquid gold! I find potatoes and hash browns to be fillers when not extra crispy for texture. Sadly they were filler here but so far they are light handed on the filler so all is right in the burrito. Did well on my request for light cheese as well. Ambiance reminds me of all my favorite cafes and tea shops with the artsy flare, welcoming colors, tons of plants, and some cool jams. Can definitely see them having a local artist showcase or local concert or open mic night. After getting a good lunch down the street I was in the need for some coffee. I stumbled upon "One Love Cafe" and immediately fell in love with the place. I'm a sucker for a place that feels like it really supports the community it's in. Art adorns the walls, they have a community board, they sell local art works, jewelry and gifts. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and they have really nice seating throughout. This place has a wonderful looking menu and I felt sad I was already pretty full. I did decide on getting a fancy drink, an iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha. I'm so glad I did too. This is now one of my favorite mochas that I've ever had. I highly recommend it! read more

Went here for lunch. It's located on San Mateo Ave where there's a lot of restaurants to choose from. Place is cute and well decorated with a little area for kids to play/read books. What drew us here was that they had açaí bowls. Ordered a mushroom empanada, caprese style avocado toast, açaí bowl and horchata latte with a plant based milk alternative. The mushroom empanada was spectacular. Packed with a savory blend of mushrooms, cheese and vegetables. I really enjoyed the chimichurri sauce it came with. I could have eaten more of it if it came with more though the amount given was adequate. The chimichurri gave it a fresh herby kick to the golden flaky pastry. The açaí bowl was good--standard and exactly what you'd expect. Thick and refreshing with a good balance of sweet and tartness. The caprese style avocado toast was underwhelming. Minimal basil that you can't taste which was disappointing because it made the toast feel incomplete. It was so basic, I felt like I could have easily made it myself at home. The basil is such an essential ingredient to caprese that it doesn't really deliver on the flavor you'd expect . Lastly, the horchata latte. What I was really excited to try. I opted for oat milk instead of the traditional milk it comes with and honestly, it was a miss for me. It had an overpowering aftertaste that I couldn't drink it after my first sip. When I mentioned the aftertaste to the staff, he told me he was already aware of the issue and that others had brought it up before. That was honestly disappointing to hear, because if it's a known problem, it raises the question of why it's still on the menu or being served without any adjustment. It felt a bit misleading to continue offering something that's known to have that kind of feedback. He did offer to remake my drink, which I appreciated, but I had already finished my meal at that point and declined. We happened to pass by this store yesterday and they serve Mitchell's ice cream. I had to go in and he a mango milkshake. It's one of the few places in the area that serves Mitchell's ice cream. The lady who helped me was super nice and friendly. This place is so vibey . My flight had a huge delay, so I stopped in for breakfast. I'm so glad I did. The decor immediately makes you feel at home and cozy in the best way. The staff was so friendly in answering my questions, and the food had great presentation and was delicious. I started with a pistachio latte which had that nutty pistachio flavor but wasn't overly sweet or syrupy. I had the avocado toast with bacon and egg, but I asked the eggs to be scrambled. The dish was bright in flavor and the textures were on point. I wanted to get a pastry to go, but the portion size was perfect for me and I was nice and full. They are a pretty small place so expect some operations hiccups (things may be slower) but the food is quite good. My favorite was the super breakfast burrito. I asked them to place the chipotle sauce inside and that is my recommended move. The sauce gives a nice smoky kick to the crispy hash browns and bacon. Towards both ends though, it was pretty empty with just tortilla. I also got an avocado toast to go that I'll have to try fresh next time. The toast got a little soggy during transport and the avocado had a bit too much lemon. I'd be willing to give this another shot. Overall, a nice spot to have in downtown San Bruno. A cozy little cafe that serves acai bowls is a welcome addition to the relatively quiet downtown. read more

The food quality is outstanding, but the ordering and pickup process could be much more organized. Better communication and a more efficient system would make a big difference to the overall experience. It was my first time visiting this café this morning, and I will definitely say it is a beautiful café. Very colorful and vibrant. I definitely love the vibes in there. It was super quiet. We went in maybe about right when they had open maybe 30 minutes after they opened. It was very quiet very nice. There was a few people already there and they were enjoying the food. Ruby the cashier/barista was super helpful and kind definitely appreciate her and the whole crew for helping us out with our breakfast and beverage order. What a gem! A women-owned cafe and community space supporting local artists, and using organic, fair trade certified coffee and tea roasted in San Francisco! They offer a large menu of flavored lattes, which seem to be popular per their other reviews. I'm more of a latte purist so ordered an unflavored latte to go, to fuel my drive back north. Smooth! Balanced! Strong but not too strong. I loved it! They also offer a menu of breakfast and brunch items, and everything looks delicious. The space is very inviting with lots of seating, and with local art adorning the walls. And they have a photoshoot wall with One Love neon lights. What a busy little cafe! Came here on a whim with a friend and found the location to be quite charming. A small mom and pop type of spot with lots of local folks coming in for some small bites and chats. It got pretty busy from 9 through 11am and I believe there was lots of families and young adults due to the spring break season. I did feel bad that the lady running the shop had so many customers and only one of her and one other person working the kitchen. The food options are simple enough to be fast and tasted fine. I would skip on their thai tea because it didn't really taste like the type of thai tea you would normally get at a thai restaurant... theirs was more milky and doesn't have the same flavor or taste. I don't know if I would go out of my way to come back but I always enjoy a nice local small mom&pop shop and this definitely was a business who also looked to be very active in the local community - remembering certain customers and having flyers for local things at her register. What a cute little café in San Bruno. It really has a great Latino vibe with cool pictures on the wall and a celebration of the spirit of the Latin soul. The food is awesome. Also, we got a toffee, coffee, a black coffee, and avocado toast the bread from the avocado toast was nice and crisp. The flavoring of the avocado with everything seeds was really good. I was disappointed that they didn't have a fried egg option only a hard boiled egg option or scrambled, but that's OK. The service was impeccable. It was packed around lunchtime on Sunday--lots of people and it was hard to get a table! They were out of the self-serve water cups! There were lots of families and kids and some couples and girl groups and friends out enjoying brunch/breakfast and coffee. I devoured the super breakfast burrito which came with avocado and bacon--they didn't scrimp on avocado or meat, very generous. They have some special lattes so I had trouble deciding what to get! It's a mom and pop store with one person taking the order, making the order and delivering them to your table. So service is so very slow. I came here without having a cup of coffee and it took half an hour to get my coffee delivered to my table. Sigh....luckily I just ordered rugelach and it took equally long to just stick them in the microwave to warm it up. The people in my group ordered veggie burrito, capresse sandwich and chicken quesadillas, they said they are not bad. One Love is by far the best Café in San Bruno, and possibly all of the Peninsula! Located right on San Mateo Ave, in the heart of downtown San Bruno, One Love has it all. What started as mostly breakfast and brunch, has expanded since they've opened. The coffee menu is very extensive, including plenty of flavor and milk options. They feature seasonal flavors, and rotate new and different items pretty frequently. The food is all made fresh to order. I've been able to try lots of items over my multiple visits, and have enjoyed everything! One thing I continue to order is the (Super) Breakfast Burrito. This comes with eggs, cheese, and hashbrowns. The "super" adds bacon and avocado! The bread and pastries are all local, which is great. Another recommended item is the Acai Fruit Bowl. The presentation on this is gorgeous, and everything is super fresh and flavorful! It's a nice alternative to carbs for breakfast. If you're coming later, or not feeling breakfast, they have plenty of other options such as salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads. The flatbreads are solid, and you have the option to create your own or choose one of the several combos they have. The chicken chipotle sandwich is also a winner. The sauce is super flavorful and not overly chipotle-y, which sometimes turns me off. Since opening, they have also added dinner service and alcohol! They've hosted Niner game watch parties, and various other events where they serve beer and other adult beverages. They don't offer this every day, so check before going for that specifically! In addition to the delicious food and drinks, One Love is HUGE on community. The owner, Rebecca, is always looking for ways to support any and everything local. She is constantly hosting events at the space such as comedy nights and open mic nights, while consistently partnering with and featuring local artists and crafters. She has also been a huge advocate to remove the paid parking stations that were more recently installed on San Mateo Ave for the first time. **Make sure you follow their Socials for all the updates and latest happenings!** The staff are all very chill and friendly. I've been here a handful of times for various meals, and always left happy. They have created a warm, relaxing environment for people to enjoy a meal, work, and/or catch-up with friends. The space is not huge, and can get pretty full if you come during busy hours. One Love Cafe is definitely worth the stop. Came here for the first time with 2 of my GFs because we wanted some Acai and breakky and this place was so cute and homey. Not to mention the Acai was delicious? I can be quite picky with Acai and im not sure if I was hella hungry or something but it was so tasty! They did not skimp on the fruits. The breakfast burrito was a decent shareable size as well. Really cool find in a small town of San bruno! We were originally going to pancake house but decided to explore the towns cafe options. So glad we did! She recommended adding their housemade chipotle and it was the perfect addition. Definitely get a SUPER since it has bacon and avocado, trust me. The portion was also really big and filling. The croissant was buttery and the protein inside was filling - it was a good amount to split. I thought the mocha would be too overwhelming with the spices but they were actually quite subtle and the chocolate was rich and smooth to balance out the spices. We very much enjoyed our meal.
