Ben seems to be great until you ask or propose something he doesn't like, and then he explodes. See the BBB website and my Google review, and stay far away from Pablo Marble & Granite.

Ben started off very responsive and that hooked me. But as soon as I became a problem for him because the quality of work his wasn't to my standards, he hung up the phone on me, quite literally, mid-conversation...then he sent a text that said "I'm Done," and stopped answering calls. I hired him to replace my fireplace surround. Even after coming out to template the area first, which I thought would make it perfect, they managed to cut it wrong and installed it off-level and off-center. Who would want their fire place looking like this? He wanted payment in full up front, which I paid, and then when I called to complain he charged me an EXTRA $400 to come out and fix his own mistake! I stupidly paid just to get it done. When they removed it I found they set and leveled it with loose sand from Home Depot, and left the plastic bags in there. Very unprofessional. They clearly don't know what they are doing in this area. They ended up removing it to trim the leg, at their suggestion, and then he ended up wanting $400 to bring it back. I hired a mason I knew to pick it up and install it as I refused to pay him one more cent. Don't make my mistake and pay upfront which he will ask for. Glad I found this out before I hired him for my new kitchen and paid another $15K for that!

The company is very hands on from start to finish. They came on time, installed professionally, and finished on time. Thank you Ben and Pablo for the wonderful experience in our long renovation project. Thank you for the guidance on picking the right countertop for our home. We could have purchased countertop anywhere but you can't buy great customer service.

Tried to research multiple companies and send out messages to each of them to help replace the countertops in our new brownstone. Ben immediately scheduled a visit to our home to give us recommendations and show us various examples. He was very helpful in discussing the differences between colors and materials. They even came up with a way to hide most of a seam which came out barely visible. They were able to integrate the countertops with our existing backsplash. During the install they also helped me identify a stove gas pipe that was not installed correctly from the previous owners, and our plumber came over who agreed and replaced it. The end result came out stunning with the quartz we chose. Pablo's team extended the counters just the right amount to create a breakfast bar. They have helped transform our kitchen and we couldn't be happier with the process and the results. Highly recommend working with Pablo, Ben, and their team.

I don't often write a review, but Ben at Pablo's Marble and Granite and his crew did such an outstanding job on our counter and backsplash I had to share. The backsplash is 10 feet in length and they managed to put it in seamless. Quite a feat for such a heavy piece of granite. The end result was amazing. The operation has a large selection of marble, granite and quartz and also many remnants to choose from. Thank you Ben and crew! Linda and Mark Burke

Pablo and Ben did such an amazing job in the granite we chose. Wow!! is all I can say. I highly recommend them for any countertop work and backsplash you have. Pablo worked very great on placing the granite and Ben was such a great easy person to talk to. I would use there services again and again. My kitchen looked like a kitchen from HGTV after they were done.

Ben at Pablo Marble & Granite was accommodating, responsive and a pleasure to work with. He had the best pricing on quartz I could find and his installers did a beautiful job!

Ben and Pablo installed a beautiful "Shadow Grey" MSI quartz countertop in my Porter Square apartment as part of my renovation project. They were fairly priced, good communicators, on time and did very nice work including quality seams and installing my stainless undermount sink. I would definitely work with them again.

Ben took us through the warehouse, was very knowledgeable and we ultimately decided on quartz countertops.

Working with Katie was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From the very first consultation, she took the time to understand my style, needs, and how I use my kitchen on a daily basis. Her design ideas were both creative and functional, transforming my space into something my husband and I could have only dreamed of, like his coffee bar! I'm not terribly creative, so Katie really helped me fill some of the gaps for decor. Communication throughout the entire process was clear, professional, and timely. Every detail--from cabinetry and lighting to layout and materials--was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. She struck the right balance between aesthetics and practicality, and I now have a kitchen that is not only stunning but incredibly efficient to cook and live in. The contractor team of Dave and Buzzy were also amazing, with constant communication and attention to detail, even while we were away for the better part of the remodel. We have received so many compliments from friends and family, and I can honestly say the kitchen has become the heart of our home. I would highly recommend Katie and Right Angle Kitchens to anyone looking to reimagine their kitchen--you're in great hands!

We struggled for over a year to find someone to help us retro-fit our lower cabinet and counter top for a new cook top. Then we found Paul! He made sure to present us with the best possible options and then executed it wonderfully. When I decided I needed doors for my office, Paul was the first person I thought of because I wanted the job done right and to look great. I am so happy with the outcome. I highly recommend him!

He had some great ideas on how to enhance the space, showing us how we could easily have a bigger shower. We checked with a couple of other companies, but went with DWC because we liked Paul's responsiveness, ability to explain, patience, and flexibility. The bid wasn't the cheapest, but DWC did a fantastic job and was worth every penny! Paul walked us through every step, from design ideas to site logistics to explaining the process to connecting us with wonderful, sensible local vendors for tile, fixtures, paint, and window treatments. He and his crew are reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and CLEAN, besides being outstanding craftsmen. The subcontractors he engages are just as wonderful. They all have a good relationship with the city and took care of all permits and communication with the city. His ability to coordinate and adjust schedules kept the project humming along - it was finished in less time than anticipated despite a global pandemic hitting right at the end! He and his subs worked with the city to get everything signed off despite the city's shutdown. If you've read this far, I hope you'll let me share a story or two. How clean are they at DWC? They set up a staging area in a spare room with plastic walls and floor covering, and covered the stairs as well. One day I looked out the window to see them vacuuming the *driveway* at the end of a day when they were sawing outdoors. How good are they? They found a squeaky subfloor board on the landing and fixed it (yes, it cost extra) because they were worried it might warp the tiles in the bathroom. The subcontractors pointed out many times little details that made them want to work with DWC. How creative are they? They wanted to recess our medicine cabinet but found a pipe behind the wall. So they bumped out the wall there so we could have a recessed cabinet (which we hadn't even thought of, but which looks much nicer than one hanging on the wall). How quiet are they? I work from home, and they never disturbed me. Or our dog, for that matter, but she's pretty deaf. In fact, they were always happy to see her, which of course endeared them to me even more. How perfectionist are they? They fixed some dings made in the other rooms in the course of the work and even had the painter do the stairway, even though most of those dings were done by us. Finally, if you've read this far, the DWC crew and everyone who works with them are just plain NICE. It was a pleasure to have them work with us, and I would engage them again in a heartbeat.
