There are not enough good things I can say about this company. My wife and I were looking to enhance our kitchen space on a feasible budget and decided upgrading the existing utilitarian quartz countertops with new designer quartz, waterfall island, and matching backsplash design was the best way to go. I had received a few quotes from other local contractors; I actually reached out to Pablo Marble and Granite last, however, following my initial conversation with Ben, it became immediately clear that we would prefer and trust to do business with them. I am an architectural Consultant and work with contractors on a nearly daily basis, and I have never been so thoroughly impressed with the responsiveness, care, and communication I received from Ben and this team. I took a quick trip to their Woburn site to look at the material; Ben gave me a great tour of the facility and their stock, and that same afternoon, Pablo was at our home in Boston surveying the countertops. I would say one of the most uniquely nice factors of working with them, was the consistent and prompt communication and updates from Ben. He would send me multiple progress pictures of the cuts throughout the following days to keep me posted on their work. It was a great way of keeping me excited and involved in the project, as well as demonstrating complete transparency. Additionally, when I would text Ben for any update or question, he would respond within minutes. One of the other reasons we chose to work with Pablo Marble and Granite was that they were the only contractor we spoke to who would include and help us remove the existing porcelain tile backsplash we had in the kitchen. We knew this would need to be removed before replacing, and no other outfit would handle that work as part of the scope. Ben had a gentleman at our home within 48 hours to remove the backsplash. Furthermore, Ben was very helpful providing us insight and consultation regarding additional services, such as plumbing and fair pricing for such. Lastly, Pablo and his teams were always extremely courteous and professional while executing the actual installations. They took great care with our home and did an exceptional job. Something that also struck me, was that they were consistently very punctual! I would receive updates with expected time of arrivals from Ben, and they never disappointed. As I mentioned, I would simply express that this was by and large one of the most fun and highly satisfying experiences we've ever had with any contractor. I needed a granite slab for a small kitchen countertop for my newly remodeled basement. Tons of remnants to choose from. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes. Install was quick and easy. Backsplash was cut from the same piece of granite and looks fantastic. I gave the guys an extra $100 to install the back and sidesplash on my bathroom vanity and they were happy to do it. My one problem was with the undermounted sink they provided. Along with squared edges, the base of the sink is flat so water pools rather than draining. This in turn leads to soap and water stains. I recommend shopping undermount sinks before agreeing to the one they'll provide. read more

Ben started off very responsive and that hooked me. But as soon as I became a problem for him because the quality of work his wasn't to my standards, he hung up the phone on me, quite literally, mid-conversation...then he sent a text that said "I'm Done," and stopped answering calls. I hired him to replace my fireplace surround. Even after coming out to template the area first, which I thought would make it perfect, they managed to cut it wrong and installed it off-level and off-center. Who would want their fire place looking like this? He wanted payment in full up front, which I paid, and then when I called to complain he charged me an EXTRA $400 to come out and fix his own mistake! I stupidly paid just to get it done. When they removed it I found they set and leveled it with loose sand from Home Depot, and left the plastic bags in there. Very unprofessional. They clearly don't know what they are doing in this area. They ended up removing it to trim the leg, at their suggestion, and then he ended up wanting $400 to bring it back. I hired a mason I knew to pick it up and install it as I refused to pay him one more cent. Don't make my mistake and pay upfront which he will ask for. Glad I found this out before I hired him for my new kitchen and paid another $15K for that! read more

Tried to research multiple companies and send out messages to each of them to help replace the countertops in our new brownstone. Ben immediately scheduled a visit to our home to give us recommendations and show us various examples. He was very helpful in discussing the differences between colors and materials. They even came up with a way to hide most of a seam which came out barely visible. They were able to integrate the countertops with our existing backsplash. During the install they also helped me identify a stove gas pipe that was not installed correctly from the previous owners, and our plumber came over who agreed and replaced it. The end result came out stunning with the quartz we chose. Pablo's team extended the counters just the right amount to create a breakfast bar. We were lucky to find Ben and the Pablo Marble and Granite team. We have now completed two projects with them. The first was replacing a cabinet and counter top in a guest bathroom. My interactions with Ben were very positive from the first phone call to the completion of the project. He offered professional and expert advice on evaluating our stone options and helped us select a quartz piece that looks beautiful. He also recommended a cabinet maker who was excellent. Fernando did the custom measurements and installed the countertop. Not only was he skilled in capturing the customer measurements but he did an expert job installing the top. Like Ben, he was a pleasure to work with. The project was completed on time and on budget. It turned out that we needed another countertop for a second bathroom. This time we were in a real time crunch. I called Ben late on a Thursday afternoon and like the first project, Ben took the time to offer expert and friendly advice. He made scheduling changes late Thursday afternoon and Fernando arrived on time the following morning to take the measurements. The stone will be fabricated on a Saturday and installed on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. That is responsive customer service! I am not promising that you can expect that speed all the time, but it is just indicative of their focus on customer service. DONT BOTHER WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY! I had signed a contract with them to install my countertops for my house after years of working and saving money to get this done. We had agreed on the price and start date. Everything was ok until now I made a payment in the full amount and he cashed it right away. As soon as he cashed the check, he texted me few days before start of project to notify me that he will not be doing my work, and is refusing to refund me my money. I have made several attempts to get my money back, and this man has stopped responding to my emails and calls. Ben is a fraud and will do anything to get money out of you as soon as he can and then will disappear after he cashes the check. He is extremely poor at communicating, rude and unprofessional. Steer clear of Pablo Marble and Granite. Their owner Bandali (Ben) Dahdah is charming and engaging at first. By the end of the project, you learn that he is deceitful and vindictive. I was replacing the counters in my kitchen. I found a stone that I liked and Ben quoted me $14K for the job. Then, an hour later, he called back and changed the price to $26K. So we chose a different stone and agreed on the price of $12K. Then, one week later, he raised the price to $14K. He demanded that all the money be paid in advance of doing the work. Then, he promised that it would take 10 days to deliver and install the counter and instead it took two months. At the end of the job, there was one final piece to install (7" x 47") behind the kitchen sink. He got into an argument with my wife about how to install this piece and then refused to install this piece, leaving a large hole in our wall behind the sink. He blocked our phone numbers and refused to talk with us. When we called the local court to file a small claims lawsuit, we were told that they hear about this company all the time. We also heard from a former employee of Pablo Marble and Granite that there are some stone places that will not sell him stone because he does not pay. This normally stressful process was made way more stressful by Ben's highly dysfunctional behavior. read more

Our master bath needed some unique pieces to be made and I reached out to Ben who was able to cut the 8 pieces exactly the way we needed them. I was unable to pickup during conventional hours and could only come Sunday afternoon. Ben came to our house for a quote and we immediately realized he is respectful, humble man and is willing to work with you. We were looking to replace the counter top in the kitchen of our new house in Lexington and get a island put in. We got in touch with Pablo Marble and Granite. Ben was very prompt in responding to our request, came over to our house with the various samples, invited us to his shop and helped us pick the right stone for the job. He also recommended us going with a waterfall island, which based on the pictures on his instagram would look awesome. He's been very communicative and has been answering all our questions. He even recommended a kitchen cabinet place, which has also been amazing. They showed up on time to do a bit of demo work in the kitchen. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. The original timeline was quoted 2 weeks. Actual timeline 7.5 weeks. Took longer to get counters in than to demo and redo entire kitchen. Zero communication from Ben. Once you ask a question, you end up going to the end of the line, delaying everything. When an issue arises, Ben's response is that he was not there and that that would never happen. The templating was a disaster. The single piece was actually two pieces. No communication why. The pieces would not fit so they cutout the walls around the area. So much for a template. Their installers even sanded the new cabinet face when they were sanding the unexpected seam in counter - unintentional, but still. They did not say anything. Noticed this after they left. The cabinet manufacturer was actually willing to send me a new face all factory painted - customer service from the cabinet maker and zippo from Ben. The last backsplash was suppose to be installed again a week later but as usual no communication. On the expected install day, left a message on expected install. No reply except for at 4:30 PM, and Ben wanted to know if anyone is around so they can come by in an hour to install. He like to text rather than call. I think mainly because he can ignore you and then claim that he is a great communicator. Are you kidding me!!! I said no. Way to late and we are not ready. His reply was well "your wife called me." Yes in the morning, why not give us a heads up in the AM that this is the plan. I guess its because there is no plan. Since we could not accommodate, guess when the next install time was - 1 week later. Again, arrived, about 5 PM and left about 6:30PM. Pretty sloppy work. Cleaning up silicone from every countertop surface. This is really not a business, but rather a hobby. Stay away, unless you can afford to wait forever for your install. You also have to be on them or critical mistakes will be made and the only response you will get when they screw up is form Ben saying he was not there for the conversation. read more
