Safely the best Thai food in Oregon! The combinations and complexity to the curry is amazing. If you can't find parking right out front, there's a nice safe parking lot down the alley behind the restaurant. They introduced me to my new favorite dish, Thai Pumpkin Curry. So creamy and smooth with just the right amount of heat to warm the tongue. If it's in season, make sure to get the fresh green papaya salad and ask for fresh peppers in it. I've come to really love Pac Thai. I haven't tried a bunch of thai restaurants, but this one is definitely one of my favorites so far. Their pad thai is super good! Also, I'm an eggplant lover, so their red curry and eggplant dish are my favorites. I love how every time I dine in or take out I can get a free thai iced tea by just checking into yelp. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is clean. Most items are under $10, and there are even lunch prices. The portions are very big for the price! Really good fresh Thai food, recently I ordered take out for the first time and it was speedy and delicious. Instead of going to fast food we got masuman Cury, Summer Rolls and a really good Yakisoba noodle dish for only a little bit more than a full family "meal deal" somewhere else. Why have I not thought about this before? I have tried the following (all were delicious!) lemon grass chicken, masuman cury, drunken noodles, yakisoba noodles, and of course the summer rolls. Unfortunately this is the last time we go here. The Eggplant dish had very little eggplant and it was mushy and deformed and there were so many bamboo shoots!!! Cashew Nut looked boiled rather than stir fried and the chicken tasted old and gamey. We asked them to remake these dishes because I didn't feel comfortable paying for them. Their second attempt was not much better and the chicken still tasted off. The Drunken Noodles were passable as was the Panang Curry but nothing to rave about. It's really sad because we love Thai and I wouldn't consider this an option for us in the future. I should add that we have had good meals here in the past but our last few visits were subpar. My parents live in Cornelius and I have failed to venture into Forest Grove until now! Little did I know that Forest Grove happens to boast plenty of small, local eateries! Pac Thai is a clean establishment with a wonderful menu and array of food items. A couple of the servers are more withdrawn but overall the customer service is great. They did happen to get my order wrong (I requested zero peanut sauce) but I am one of those people who just cannot bring this up in restaurants, especially if I end up trying it and it's delicious! I've been going to Pac Thai for almost 10 years. This is where I and my work friends will most likely go if we decide to go out together, because everyone really likes the food! It is also a place where we take potential hires for lunch; it is consistently good and also has options for people with a variety of food preferences, including vegan, gluten free, etc. Since COVID, we have been ordering from here to eat at home about once a week and are very pleased with the quality in their take out/delivery as well. Everything I have tried on their menu is good, but I'd especially recommend the Yum Nuar (cold beef salad), the Summer Rolls (vegan and delicious!), and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Basil (this one is best if you can eat it on-site, because the crispiness can wilt a bit in take-out containers, but it's still good). My husband is a Drunken Noodles with tofu fan, and he loves how they make it here. Definitely recommended. read more

I am not a Thai fan, not a fan of Asian cuisine in general (I know that is very general) but when the food is known for being great, I will always try it out. I am glad I did. While a tad pricy, especially for substitutions, the food more than makes up for it. My friend got the chicken and fried race dish and split some with me. It was the best fried rice I have ever had. Moist, full of flavor, different and colorful ingredients, and with some of the provided lime, it was so good I will always come back for more. My friend got a curry soup dish and said it was great, not too spicy, flavourful, and just the right amount. Pac Thai also provides 1 free milk tea drink (no refills) each time you check in with Facebook and show your server. That serves to draw in customers, get their name constantly marketed online, and provide a refreshing treat with your meal. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've came here multiple times with friends and they take so long to seat you and get your order. Had to ask the waiter for water after sitting there for 20mins.. it took them so long to get our orders down and even longer to finally get our food. The waiters don't check on you if you need anything. Food is mediocre and bland for Thai food. Their Thai tea doesn't even taste like Thai tea. I tried calling them to order food to-go and they were rude on the phone. Never eating here again, I'll take my money to Taco Bell instead. read more

Not as good as it used to be! I used to come here once every week, now I'm going once every month,sometimes not even that. The Tom yum soup is always salty now when I order it, the rice doesn't have the same flavor as before especially the pineapple fried rice and there portions are also smaller now. read more

I got the summer rolls. They are fairly small, but pretty tasty. I would say that since they are small there are a few layers of the rice paper which makes it kind of gummy. I think that they should add a bit more lettuce(which is really cheap) or cut them down a bit to get only one layer. Peanut sauce was really good and served warm. :). read more

Pretty good curry! I was eager to try this place out after moving to forest grove for grad school. Being used to the various options of restaurants in the Portland area, it was quite a shock to me that a tiny Thai place was all the buzz in this town. I came here with 8 of my friends to celebrate a birthday. After coming in from the rain, we had to stand around a while to get seated. I assume it was because the waitresses were busy assisting other customers. I ordered their Thai iced tea and their Panang curry. We waited half an hour to get our food, which felt like a long time because after studying for and taking two midterms that day, we were hungry! Now that I think of it, half an hour is a reasonable amount of time because they were cooking for 8 people and we all got our food around the same time. The curry was delicious. Update - I've been vegan for a few years now and have been eating here as they have vegan options. The vegan options are usually pretty hit or miss. Last week was all miss. My daughter and I went in about 6:00 on a Thursday after her dance class, there were only a handful of other tables. I told the waitress everything we were ordering was vegan and we ordered fried rice, mussaman curry and pad se ew with extra veggies and no mushrooms. Lots of food so I didn't have to cook dinner the next night. So we waited about 10 minutes and the food came out. We started digging in and there are huge mushrooms in the rice and and curry. I pointed it out to the waitress and she wanted to take everything back to remake it all. I jokingly said I only have a slight allergy we will just pick them out, my daughter also hates them. We were both hungry and I didn't want to wait for crappy remade dishes. I started looking over at the noodles and noticed there were eggs in them so getting frustrated I told the waitress that it did need to be remade because we couldn't eat eggs. That's when Momo, who I guess is the manager came over and scolded me. He told me that it was my fault for ordering the pad se ew with veggies because it gets made vegetarian that way. He then proceeded to shake his head at me, walk behind the counter where you can clearly see him and point and talk about us. He then walked by my table every 30 seconds looking down and shaking his head at me. I'm not really sure what I did to deserve to be treated this way but I packed my food up paid a full priced bill for food that was horrible that I couldn't eat. When the pad se ew came back out it was slimy and only filled half of a to go container, the fried rice we had been eating could barely be stuffed in one. I will never be going back to this restaurant and I will definitely be telling everyone I know what terrible service I received there. When I can hear a manager calling me a bi#^# in front of my child for asking them nicely to fix their mistakes there is definitely a problem. I understand that people have off days but when you're in the service industry you can't take your bad days out on your customers. I tried this place after 2 separate recommendations, and was not disappointed at all. Great news as this is the only Thai place in the Cornelius/Forest Grove area. We had the 2 specials - pumpkin curry with brisket and lemongrass chicken pad thai. The curry was so good and the smoky brisket actually went very nicely with the spicy curry and the sweet pumpkin - I had to come home and eat more as a late night snack it was that good. The pad thai was really good too, a little bit on the oily side but great flavor and the lemongrass chicken with peanut sauce that came on top was definitely the best part. The portions were huge we barely dented the plates (it was just as good re-heated later that night and the next day for lunch). The service was really great, they went out of their way to accommodate my three year old daughter. It was a little on the spendy side but we ordered the two specials which were more than the regular entrees and we got a snack and two lunches out of the leftovers. It's a little hard to see the restaurant even though it is on the main drag, you have to look for it if you haven't been there before. They would benefit from a sandwich board or something you can see more easily from the road. I think we will very easily become regulars here. read more

Super nice and efficient servers in this open-room type restaurant. The coconut shrimp appetizers were excellent! My wife had the mango chicken that was very good; I had the lobster seafood ravioli which was interesting because the flavors inside the raviolis were pretty weak with no discernible seafood flavor whatsoever, but the curry type sauce on the outside was unbelievably good. Normally this would earn a 1 star deduction but everything else was so good that I think they earned all 5 stars.
