Another win for this place! I happened to remember it was Taco Tuesday (though I'll happily eat here any day of the week). I grabbed 2 carnitas and 2 grilled chicken tacos--both were amazing. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, and the carnitas were tender with just the right crisp from being perfectly fried. Service is always super fast, and the owner is the absolute sweetest. Highly recommend checking them out any day of the week--everything is delicious!

I decided to try this place out because my coworker said it was decent and reviews were good. Idk if she meant google reviews because the Yelp reviews didn't look that yummy. However, trying to bond in my new position, I decided to give it a whirl anyway. Simply put - not my type of joint. Definitely not worth the amount of $$ they're charging either. I was charged $10 (including tax) for only rice beans and cheese. The burrito was on the below average size (smaller than Chipotle). The quality of ingredients was extremely poor. The rice was dried out and stale; hard even. The beans were the refried kind but were orange. Orange, you guys! Idk if that's because of lard or the type of pork fat they're using but it's like you had fries at a fast food joint and you can taste that they haven't changed their oil in a while. It was just all around poor quality of food being given out to the public. I understand how it might be convenient to folks that are stopping by on a long drive, or passing by in between work meetings because they have a drive thru. However, to have extreme acid reflux and just a bad sour taste in my mouth from all that extreme lard for a week....my gut says no thank you and will never come again. They do have a huge menu from enchiladas to chile rellenos and asada fries which is new for a drive thru. But I just wouldn't recommend it, period. Thanks for reading!

Amazing food, amazing quality, and amazing customer service! If you have time, you need to stop by. Also, you get a lot of food. It's so good, the beans and rice pack flavor too.

Nachos here are great and they have a special on Fridays too. Very crispy chips which for me is the sign of good nachos

Chicken enchiladas with guacamole, sour cream, pico, rice and beans.

I love this place! I work nearby and I've only gotten their Tuesday Special a few times. $1.89 tacos! They have about 5 tacos that you can choose from and my favorite is the carnitas. I love that they have a drive thru service, makes it so much more convenient. There's times where I've forgotten my wallet so luckily they take Apple Pay.

All right peeps let's see who is in the chopping block todayyyy! Yessss it's pacheco's Mexican grill let's see what this place has in store for us today. For those that hate getting out of the car yes this place has a drive-thru it's weird how it's built but hey it works. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well as soon as you see this place you notice the cleanliness all around besides the fact that it's in a place where a lot of homeless be at no they keep it very clean and neat so koddos to you guys.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now the menus is a little out there but it clearly list the prices for cash only as for card I have no clue how much they charge but they have a wide selection. Today I was feeling hungry so I decided to order 2 tacos and a soda the tacos here says it's $3 something cash but card no clue so I just ordered 2 alpastor (marinated pork) person taking my order was very sweet I wish I could have gotten a name or a receipt but I did not get neither so I have no clue how much I paid for my two tacos and coke. So mind you I said I ordered meat tacos right? Well when I took the tin foil off I see this mountain of diced onion and the spirit of the meat was somewhere in there. I got to say a judged to quickly which was a big no in my part. When I say WOW!!!!! I mean WOW!!!! The tacos were so good the meat was delicious and juicy not dry what so ever that green sauce gave it that extra kick that it needed. The onions did give it that extra crunch so thank you so much for these amazing tacos. Am I sad that I did not go back for more yes I am but hey it's all good I got to try them. Now for the moment of truth is this place dendinger approved??? Drum roll please!!!!!! Yes this taco place is dendinger approved I will definitely be back for more of those tacos specially since on taco Tuesday tacos are 2.45 I think but it's good cuz this tacos hit different!!!! One this that I would like to give feed back on is letting the customer know how much their order was not only that but at least a receipt to see what the total was. But definitely yall have to try this place!!!

    Chris O.

Worst burrito I've ever had. Just a tortilla filled with old, dry overcooked rice. I'm embarrassed for this business - it doesn't take that much effort to have fresh ingredients and put those ingredients in a burrito. This was a lazy mistake.

Crispi taco al pastor and steak love it 5 starts to this guys.

Fast and Delicious Delicious Mexican all options food Love it Great to have you guys in the neighborhood !!!!

The zucchini was cooked perfectly and not overcooked or soggy at all, which made the whole burrito taste fresh and flavorful. We also got the appetizer with the chips, zucchini, arugula, and cheese and that ended up being one of my favorite dishes. Everything paired together really well and had a lot of flavor without feeling too heavy. I also tried the mango margarita with tajín on the rim and really liked it because it wasn't overly sweet. Super refreshing and balanced. The Dude ordered the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and really enjoyed those as well. Customer service was also really good. They checked on us periodically throughout the meal and everyone was friendly and attentive without hovering. Overall the restaurant felt clean, relaxed, and comfortable. Definitely a spot we would come back to again. Especially a lot of vegetarian options ! Vegetarian approved!!!

Located in the small shopping area off Contra Costa, right across from Pizza My Way, you will find…read moreEl Aguila Mexican Cuisine. First off, the place is pretty big. There's a ton of seating inside, and everything is very spacious. Though, I do have to say it always feels incredibly empty for some reason and there's never anybody actually inside outside of a few tables, but they do have tons of takeout so perhaps that's the tradeoff. However, don't let the lack of eating patrons inside the place put you off. This taqueria offers a good variety of different options as any taqueria would offer, and many of the options have pictures and stuff with it. The service here is, kind of hit or miss. The people in the front usually aren't overly friendly, and will sometimes feel like they're just there until the clock turns work over. Sometimes they're bordering on rude as they just kind of give you an indifferent stare as you're ordering, or will just feel as if they're half listening and not even looking up. The service was a bit better when I dined in, so perhaps maybe it's just the takeout, although it's usually the same person for both. Price wise, it's certainly not going to be cheap. If you want the best bang for your buck around here, El Aguila probably won't be it as there's a plethora of taquerias in this area. Food quality wise, it's pretty good overall. There are some tasty dishes here that will certainly warrant the little bit of extra cost here compared to other places. Things that I have tried here are the burritos and the torta. The burritos here are yummy as they they will have ingredients inside the burrito that is slightly different than your cookie cutter burrito at any other place. It really does help adds layers of flavor to it that other places do not offer. However, the best part of it is indeed the fact they grill the outside of the burrito to get that nice flakiness that wrap, and makes it a oh so rewarding experience. Meat portions was okay, but wish it had more especially for the cost. The torta I got was pretty good, as the ingredients inside were pretty typical so nothing really stood out. The break was toasted well, but I do wish it was a bit softer as it may have been to toasted. Should be toasted outside and soft inside, but this one just felt toasted all over. The meat portion also suffers from the same issue as the burrito as that it's not as generous as it could be. However, the flavors and taste were fine. It's certainly a nice place for those who want a bit of a different style of their Mexican cuisine. They have some flavors here that will be atypical of most of the cookie cutter taquerias around. While they are a bit expensive comparatively, the portions are actually decent (minus the meats). You can certainly be filled with just a single burrito. Worth a visit.

The food came with complimentary tortilla chips and a salsa dip with frijoles. The dip and Chios were fresh and the salsa with blended with frijoles was enjoyable. The crunchy tacos were fried nicely and had a good amount of filling. I thinking about trying carnitas as the filling but there a bit of a charge. The tamale was pretty good. The masa was not too dry or too wet. The meat to masa ratio was about right. My friend liked his chile relleno. The rice was more well done than I usually prefer and needed a little more seasoning.
