Brain's great at what he does and fixed our Samsung washer that got a little damaged during our move.

I had problem with my almost new LG range/oven. Basically, the range was not heating up. I was not sure if it was a problem with the settings or if there was a hardware defect. The problem with these new ranges is that they are very complicated to use. I was referred to Pacific Appliance by a friend who had used Pacific Appliance to fix his LG refrigerator. Brian, the owner, answered my call quickly, and we scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Brian arrived on time, was very courteous, and inspected the oven. He quickly diagnosed it as a faulty controller and ordered the part on the spot. While the part was on order, he was very good at informing me of delivery times, etc. I appreciated the fact that he respected my wish to be contacted through text messaging rather than voice. This made things much more convenient for me as I can't really take calls at work. When the part arrived, we scheduled another appointment, and within 30 minutes, I had a functioning oven. My LG washer broke. Pacific Appliance was referred to me by a co-worker. Brian, the owner, was great! He pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone by asking me questions and having me do a couple of things to the washer as we spoke. As a result, he walked in with the parts needed and the machine was fixed in no time. Brian also educated me a little more about my machine. Although I've had it for 8 yrs, I only use it like I use it. I'm trying out a few tricks now. Nice guy and really seems to know what he's doing. About 15 months ago the washing machine stopped draining. Brian was very patient and willing to discuss and puzzle over this together, before identifying the broken electrical connector causing a loose contact. Repaired at best possible speed (including a direct shipped part), which was critical with an infant. Recently a different wire on the same washing machine worked itself loose. Brian was out of town, so he gave me a quick tip over email. Using what I'd learned previously I was able to figure it out and fix it myself without a service call. I usually don't write reviews but felt I had to for Brian. If only all repair people were as honest and diligent as Brian, the world would be a wonderful place. This is the second time we had to call for a repair of our LG washer in the past year. The first time, my wife was super impressed with how he addressed a drain pipe issue we had. This time, I called him on the phone and described our problem. Rather than come out and charge to do a diagnosis, he provided one over the phone. It was an issue, he explained that would super time consuming (i.e., entail a high labor fee) if he were to fix it; instead, he gave me clear directions about what I needed to do with LG to get them to help at a fixed fee. Hopefully my LG washer and dryer continue to work for many more years and knowing there is someone as capable and honest as Brian to help if/when it runs into an issue is a great comfort. I am so happy I called Pacific Appliance to fix our washer! Brian was able to diagnose the problem over the phone, made an appointment to come out, confirmed the issue, ordered the part and came back the next day to repair. He even shopped around to find the part for cheaper because it was an expensive one. He provided outstanding customer service and I'm glad I know to call him if I needed another repair. I almost used Sears repair, but it would have been a longer wait to get someone to come over and probably more pricey. Brian is very reasonable and worked with me to make it affordable. When my dryer stopped working in the middle of last week, I called the appliance repair shop that has done work for me in the past. They could not come out to diagnose the problem for 3 days. Since the laundry was piling up, I decided to find someone else. I am in Mountain View and was lucky to find Pacific Appliance after a google search and Yelp check. I called Brian and he answered the phone immediately, even though he was at an appointment; he said he would call me back when he was finished. Brian called me, asked questions about the dryer and was able to fit me in at the end of his busy day. Not only did he diagnose, but he also fixed the problem of a broken belt. We contacted Brian after he was referred to us by another repair place that didn't work on LG appliances. Our LG washer would shut down after a few minutes of starting a cycle. Brian came over and didn't charge us to diagnose the problem. After doing some tests he had a few ideas of what the problem might be and ordered some parts. He came the day after the parts arrived (about 5 days later because they were coming from outside the area) and fixed the problem. He called during the week to keep us informed of when he expected parts to arrive and when he was likely to come back. Really nice guy. Seems honest and customer oriented. Very reasonable rates. Brian is fantastic. If you have a LG applicance he is your man. A couple of years ago when the the dishwasher stopped draining I called to have him come over to take a look. He showed up on time with the right tools and solved the problem. Last week the dishwasher stopped draining again. He was all set to come out again, but first he asked me to look at the air gap (that metal thing by the sink), Sure enough it was blocked and once it was cleared, the dishwasher ran like new. I first called another company (also 5-stars in all their Yelp reviews) but they were not doing European brands, so they referred me to Brian, highly recommending him.
