So I'm going to be brutally honest. I called this place asking for an estimate to get the auxiliary in my car looked at. They told me it would be about $50 and up, depending on the issue. Not a problem. I go there in person on a Saturday, and they take a look at my auxiliary. They tell me they don't have the part, but I could take it to the dealership and they can order it for me. Uh...what? Do you want my business or not? I actually took my car to the dealership a few weeks prior for an oil change, and asked if they could fix my aux. They actually recommended me to take it to an audio place because it would be cheaper. Luckily, another employee steps in and tells me they can just order the part for me. He orders it through Amazon, and tells me they'll call me when the part comes in so that they can replace it. Fast forward to Wednesday, 4 days later. I still hadn't received a call that my part came in. I called them and asked if my part came in and they told me "It just came in today". Right. I used to work retail, so I know that lie. And even if it did get there that day, why didn't I get a call? Remember that the part was ordered on Amazon, so likely they had Prime, so it probably got there within 2 days. So I go in a few days later, and they tell me that they're booked and can't replace the part that day. I'm already annoyed that no one called me and told me my part came in, and now I need to come back a third time to get it replaced. I know it's partially my fault to assume that I didn't need an appointment to get the part replaced, but while I was on the phone with them and they told me the part cane in, they should have offered an appointment. So now I go in for the third time and drop off my car. They tell me it'll take an hour tops, and that they'll call me when it's done. I tell them I'm going shopping in that plaza. And hour goes by, and I still received no call. I really need to get going because I have to go to class. I walk over and wait inside, and the employees are having personal conversations as I'm standing there for about 5mins wondering if my car is ready. The guy at the front is on the phone, so I understand he's unable to help me. When he gets off the phone, he asks the guy who worked in my car if my car was ready, and he said yes. Again, why haven't I gotten a call? At this point I am extremely annoyed. They're really not trying to get me in and out as quick as possible. They were for the most part very nice on the phone and in person, but they need to really work on their customer service. I definitely don't think I was being unreasonable or difficult, I just wanted my auxiliary replaced so that I don't have to just listen to the radio while I drive. I was very nice in person because I used to work retail and I hated dealing with difficult customers, so I try not to be one of then. I also understand that times are tough right now, so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and also an extra star. Please, value your customers' time and try to get them in and out as quickly as possible, especially if they're leaving their car there because chances are, they have places to be later. read more

Got my 10 inch sub and amp installed w/ my pioneer double din radio as well as a review camera on a Infiniti g35 sedan on 1/14/2020. I paid for installation, wiring,& rear view camera for a total price of $469. I was told it comes with lifetime warranty as far as installation goes. Installation took the full business hours 10-7pm. They could of tucked the wires better as well as used sound deadening with the new license plate frame/review camera because it rattles a LOT! Also I'm not sure if they sound tested and equalized sub and amp. Customer service was not the best but not the worst. Maybe I will go back to get my sub position and mounted (moves around a lot). One thing I am noticing about the sub is after using it on a day trip from sac to Lake Tahoe it will cut in and out which is very annoying, could be the 1000 amp or I am bumping too hard not sure. The picture shows some wire hanging hint in why they could of tucked the wires more professionally. Also the review camera/ license plate Frame dose not fit my car so the bottom 2 screws are not installed which plays a big factor in the rattling. read more

Worst install I've ever encountered! I was a car audio installer for a brief time in my teens, I've put a screwdriver through more than one driver and have seen plenty of average, standard installations. But now, well I'm just lazy, so I had them do the installation of an MTX amp, pair of 12" subs with enclosure, new deck, 6 3/4" 2 way speakers in 4 doors and 6x9's in the pillars (rear roof). This was the best ensemble, as they determined it... But there was a terrible knocking sound coming from the pillars, a banging noise when ever I raised the volume above about half way. I figured it was something to do with me messing up the settings somewhere, then one day I finally took a look. Wow! Turns out the pillars have room only for 4 x 10s at a depth of maybe an inch. The banging sound was the 6 x 9 speakers cones ramming into the steal of the roof, through the 4x10 hole I could see maybe 45% of the 6x9. Of course, each had only 2 screws mounting it, since there was no way to line up all 4. Even those 2 screws were way too long, at 45 degree angles and maybe 3/4's of the way screwed in. Really....? What a joke, I'd say these guys are hacks but even hacks try to do it right. I just pulled the damn things out and what do you know, it sounds good all sudden. They managed to setup the amp with a faulty ground, even after screwing 3 screws into the floor under the back seat... didn't even bother taking out the extra 2 cock eyed failure screws. If you want to get screwed over and sue someone, this place is ripe for the pickin! read more

Awesome service! I had an audio problem that other people couldn't figure out, and it wasn't an issue with amp or sub, although that's what everyone suggested everywhere I went. These guys quickly tested out the sub and amp using their equipment and then immediately pinpointed out that it was wiring issue. After a minute they found it, and within a couple minutes BAM! All fixed! They were very helpful and informative and suggested things that were practical to me rather than profitable to them. Dishonest and shoddy install work. I had an alarm installed in 2017 and was given the impression that they were an authorized installer for the brand of alarm (Compustar). Found out later they were not. A month ago the door locks started locking and unlocking on their own randomly. I took it back and was told it was some part for my car that was like $600 new. Come to find out it was the garbage install work these guys did. They used parts from the old alarm that were not compatible with the new one. I had someone else (an authorized installer) reinstall it and they showed me all of the things that should've originally been removed. 3 older relays and harnesses. Don't waste your time at this place! SCAM ARTISTS!! This is the type of audio place that gives others a bad name! read more

do NOT go here!!!!!! i had a great experience at Pacific Audio on " Arden " and wanted to give them a try again. i recently moved to the Roseville area so i looked them up to see if there was a closer location and the pacific audio on "Greenback Lane" popped up. i thought "great", it was the same company..... But it was not..... i didnt use yelp which would have alerted me to there unprofesionalism immediatley. remember to always yelp it out first. to make an extremely, i mean extremely long story as short as possible it took - 4 trips back and forth - dropped off the car and had to wait on 2 seperate ocassions for the supposed installation that never happened - 2 months of dealing,waiting, and ordering wrong parts... by the way i had to call them everytime to check up on anything and everything or else i would have never heard from them again. Thank God I saved my receipt. Go to the Pacific Audio on "Arden " as it has nothing to do with the one on greenback.
