I don't like to write negative reviews, but I owe this to the Yelp readers, because it was my experience and differs quite a bit from the original review. I had them install a new battery switch (the one that comes with the Blue Seas ACR). It is not a 1-2-both-off. It is a switch which turns on power from both batteries, and only has an ON/OFF. However both batteries are connected to it. My ACR was wired improperly My new battery switch was not wired properly The gauge of battery cables were too small. Some of the smaller wiring was such cheap ass wires it's almost comical. I had to have another shop (Offshore Unlimited, Fremont, CA) wire the ACR, and Battery switch properly. It took many hours and was not cheap. read more

David and Alex were by far the best in the industry! I met David on the water and had many issues after taking my boat to two different shops. I asked David to please save me without keeping my boat for a long time. Monday I met with Alex to drop off my boat and go over everything I needed. Not once did they try to discourage me from moving batteries around or changing something I didn't want to. I was blown away by how professional the whole team was. They kept in touch to update me with progress and Friday came along for me to grab my boat. When I got to their shop they were in the process of cleaning my boat which I left kinda dirty. I climbed up and was blown away how perfect and clean the whole system was ... then came the sound!!! I was beyond happy it was so loud and crystal clear. I couldn't explain to them how excited I was, we bought the boat a year ago and I hated it from day one cause of the other shops crap. David and Alex saved my boat ...... kinda like the old school pimp my ride on MTV they pimped it fully out!! Lesson learned I will never allow another person to touch my system. Awesome components (Wetsounds) Did not over sell me, and the results are amazing. Actually, talked me out of over spending on more speakers. Rare. Through the process, I added a fishfinder, new Neima deck, related remote control, and he adapted on the fly... Was extremely fair and even researched the fishfinder and new Neima connectivity. Top Notch service and Top Notch work/installation. Alex and his crew are the best. Alex and the other owner and the crew are very nice and listen to what you want and make great recommendations. Great customer, very responsive, and they will take there time with you and find the right stereo and sound and budget for all your boating upgraded needs. Heck, there were few boats there that keep coming back year after year and adding more, that is how good these guys are. I bought my first boat and I wanted to upgraded the stereo add another battery with isolator switch and a 12 V DC port, and man I tell you, super clean install, looks like its was factory install, and all wiring is clean, and everything is very accessible. The stereo with the subwoofer and two extra speakers that Alex recommended are awesome. I shopped around and Wake Audio was the one place that was able to answer all my questions with out hesitation and they know exactly what they are doing. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a great value. This is one of the most legit boat audio shops in Sacramento. If you know anything about boat audio, you know its totally different than car audio. Alex does some of the most clean work I have ever seen. Any guy can build an MDF sub box and stuff it under a seat, Wake Audio is the next level when it comes to quality work. Keep in mind quality work is not cheap. If you buy a $100k surf boat and think you can go the cheap route for awesome sound you are dead wrong. That being said I think these guys offer more value than any other boat audio shop in the area. They do it right the first time. I made the mistake of taking my boat to two other shops prior to finding wake audio. I had nothing but problems. Both shops claimed they did custom quality work but never performed. I found Wake Audio on yelp. I called and spoke with Alex and instantly he know exactly what I wanted. I wanted to install two kicker solo x subs in my 2015 Malibu wakesetter. He also made a few other recommendations that would make my system perform a lot better. They finished the work in a couple weeks and OMG the system on my boat not only is stupid loud but sounds a lot cleaner. These guys do a great job and know what they are talking about. This shop is awesome! Most shops I've been to in my area are small hole in the wall places that install stuff in the parking lots out front their business and sell you everything but what you are looking for just to make a sale but not this place. They have a very large indoor facility to keep your vehicle or boat indoors and safe. On top of all that, they do very clean work, very knowledgeable staff and offer top notch products. I called Wake Audio to find out their prices and see if they could get my SX210 in asap. Alex helped me out and told me to bring in my boat later the same day I called. I brought my boat in later in the afternoon and was told that my boat would be done within 7 days. I asked for new upholstery and a new sound system. My boat was done within 5 days.
