do NOT go here!!!!!! i had a great experience at Pacific Audio on " Arden " and wanted to give them a try again. i recently moved to the Roseville area so i looked them up to see if there was a closer location and the pacific audio on "Greenback Lane" popped up. i thought "great", it was the same company..... But it was not..... i didnt use yelp which would have alerted me to there unprofesionalism immediatley. remember to always yelp it out first. to make an extremely, i mean extremely long story as short as possible it took - 4 trips back and forth - dropped off the car and had to wait on 2 seperate ocassions for the supposed installation that never happened - 2 months of dealing,waiting, and ordering wrong parts... by the way i had to call them everytime to check up on anything and everything or else i would have never heard from them again. Thank God I saved my receipt. Go to the Pacific Audio on "Arden " as it has nothing to do with the one on greenback. Pacific Audio on "Greenback Lane" is a very unprofesional place and i would never ever go there again. read more

Hands down best shop around! About 6 hours into doing my own alarm install in my Jeep I realized i was in over my head. I went in and Vaje knew i was willing to pay him to finish, but he went out of his way, stopped what he was doing to show me how to finish the job myself since I was so close. After another days work i got it installed properly thanks to him. This is by far the best customer service I've ever had at a small shop and I would give Vaje and Pacific Audio 10 stars if I could. I had a Viper alarm installed by them in 2009 on my Toyota Tacoma. I had them install a sensor for my Tonneau cover and for some reason it stopped working. I went back to get it looked at. I called on a Monday and they told me to come back the next day, so I did. I arrived there on the specified time that I was told. When I arrived I explained to him that what was wrong with my alarm, he then told me that they had a couple of vehicles they are working on and that I had to come back or wait until they were complete. I then explained to him that they were the one's that told me to come in at this time and the I just needed him to look at it really quick to see if it can be fixed. He agreed and looked at it and all it needed was an adjustment but he went ahead and change the pin sensor. All in all, it was not a bad experience. read more

When i went into the store it took them 30 min to talk to me and then they said they were too busy to help me to come back later.. They were very rude. After getting my fog lights put in my sub actually went out and when I called they said to come over whenever and they would be able to help me find the problem. Terrible customer service. Rude in person and on the phone. Had an appointment and when I showed up I was told to come back tomorrow. They could have call and saved me the trip. When I went back the next day I waited all day and nothing was done. I was told I needed a replacement part. The faulty part was a part they put in a year ago. The faulty part actually made another part go out but thats "not their fault". After the rudest phone conversation I have ever had and being told I have attitude when I pointed out His attitude. I had an alarm installed on my car and windows tinted here. Service was great. I went in and they showed me all of my options. I then scheduled a time where I came in and they were very prompt. I didnt have anywhere to go and had some work to do, so i sat down and worked while they worked on my car. The guys joked around with me in the store while the installer worked on my car. I decided after i bought the alarm that i also wanted my windows tinted also. They called in their tinter who happened to have the day off and he took care of that also! It was great service and i have been very happy with everything! had a great experience here! The staff was incredibly attentive and willing and able to answer all of my questions (which I had plenty!). All the work was done as scheduled and I was communicated with throughout the process. They installed a deck I purchased private party with no issues. They also sold me and installed 2 CV15's and a full set of infinity speakers as well as a fosgate 4channel amp and JL audio 2channel. Never had any problems with the set up. When I have blwn something the warrenty work is prompt and free. They installed my viper security with no issues. I also got my window tinting done for a cheap rate and they were quick to get it done. Had tinted a ywar ago still no bubbles. Purchased a navigator and wanted to update the stereo to a navigation system before I took it on a trip. They showed me my options and quoted me a price. They didn't have the one I wanted in stock but they had the better version at another store. They went and picked up the unit within an hour. They gave me an estimated time of 3 hours for install but he was done in an hour and a half. Afterwards he came out and went over all of the features with me. Super nice and helpful. I have a few more things I want to get done and I will definitely be coming back here for their help. read more

I purchased a JVC unit last year. I was able to track down my install receipt but was told that was not my receipt even though that was what I got from them "Art's" name was on it the price and what was installed and it was on their form IE Pacific Audio. I was told by "Art" that no way it had the price on it and would not work. The service there stinks they have an attitude that they are not there to help and are rude to customers. I only spent 547$ on the JVC and Speakers. That is not much to them but it is enough to me. So if you are looking for Rude, indifferent treatment by a company that won't stand behind their products or installation please go there. read more

I must say, these guys are GREAT! I am not one to write reviews, but when I do it's well deserved. I shopped around to several different stereo shops in the area and chose Pacific Audio due to the prices and amount of time the owner spent with me explaining all of the differences between the products. He is very well informed of not only the manufactures of the items they carry, but other products as well. I was really impressed by the fact I gave him no inclination that I was going to be purchasing anything at that time and he still explained everything in great detail. I also like how he started by first asking me what I wanted to achieve, as opposed to just trying to sell me something like some of the previous stores I went to. I had decided I wanted to upgrade the factory speakers, add an amplifier and install an alarm to protect it all. I left Pacific Audio thinking I may be able to find the same set-up I wanted somewhere else cheaper, but in fact returned the following week because I was unable to. They had their prices 15-25% less than that of their competitors. I told the guys there I was going to wait around the shop until my car was done because I had nobody to give me a ride, but the truth is I am VERY particular about my vehicles and just wanted to oversee the project. I mention this because when one of the guys went out to get some lunch for the crew, not only did he ask me if I would like a ride home, he then offered to buy me lunch when I told him that I would just rather stay and watch the progress. After a few minutes of waiting the owner asked if I would like to go into the install bay and watch the installer. I took the invitation and then quietly observed the work being done on my car where the installer did an outstanding job of explaining to me the features of the alarm. While speaking to the installer I requested a couple of additions (automatic window & sunroof modules) and was told not a problem since everything would be easy to get to because of the work already being performed. I incurred no additional labor charges either, I just had to pay for the modules themselves. As I waited in the lobby throughout the rest of the install, I couldn't help but notice the attention the owner gave to ALL of his customers. Even the ones who obviously were there to get out of the rain waiting for the bus to arrive. It has been about a week and I have had no issues and am VERY HAPPY with the results. My car sounds GREAT and I feel more comfortable at night knowing it is well protected with the alarm they installed, not to mention the convenience of the added features. If you want a GOOD JOB and GREAT PRICES, go to Pacific Audio. I will be going back next week to have my windows tinted, nobody was able to beat their prices on that either. I haven't shopped for a car stereo in a while...not since my younger days. I was looking for a car stereo that was compatible with my iPad. So after be sold on a unit that I was told for sure would work with my iPad I went ahead and paid to have it installed. About two hours later I was told to pick up my car. I went to the shop and went inside and paid. After paying the installer started to walk away...I asked if he could show me how the stereo works and sounds so he walked outside with me. I guess this is my first issue....they were quick to sell me a stereo and take my money but had no time to demo it? Anyways after a 30 second demo which was horrible I went home and plugged my iPad into the USB....guess what it didn't work. I could go on and on about how they told me to call tech support myself or that they recommended that I drive my car around for a few weeks to see if it would start working or the fact that I paid over msrp for the stereo and still was charged labor...lol... in the end they told me that I could pay about two hundred dollars more for a different unit or have the stereo removed. Great options! I ended up having the stereo removed. In the end I was recommended a car audio place called Rolling Audio. They hooked me up with a great stereo for the same price and owner spent about 30 mins with me explaining all of the features with the unit.....great customer service....something pacific audio needs to learn about. read more

Look elsewhere these people are garbage. They lack customer service and are downright terrible. I had subs and an amp put in and the wiring job was downright ludicrous. Some kid was working on my truck and his skills where novice at best, I should have listened to the reviews on here before I went to them, let my troubles be a warning for you. read more

My husband bought an aftermarket GPS/head unit for our Expedition and we took it to these guys for install. They used the harness we provided even though it took extra time and was difficult.
