Newly opened and all I can say is yum! I've tried the Tustin location and wasn't impressed, however this Brea location is fantastic! Greeters and servers were all fabulous, everyone we interacted with provided great customer service. Our server Alexis was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the original ahi poke which was absolutely delicious, and a huge portion, I couldn't finish my bowl. Inside and on the patio the decor is very nice yet casual, giving tropical vibes. They have happy hour on the weekends from 3-5 which is pretty cool, and would probably come back for it next time, we skipped it today as we weren't really wanting to drink anything. Parking is easiest at the structure nearby, although be forewarned, it's very crowded, even at 3 pm or so we had to circle around a bit. There is also paid valet service.

When you want it the most There's no easy way out Warm Lobster Roll from #PacificCatch

Sometimes it's hard to find a decent lobster roll in these parts. Whether it's the lack of access of to decent lobster, a lack of desire to pack the lobster roll with its namesake, or charging close to the $40 mark for the sandwich--a quality lobster roll at a reasonable price is an elusive unicorn. Pacific Catch's $33 example is one that, while on the more expensive side, turned out to be quite ample and quite delicious. I wasn't complaining there wasn't enough lobster in it and I wasn't complaining the lobster seemed skunky or without taste. If anything, the price point might be too high for what you get, but not more than $3 or $4, which is fine. The fries were good as was as the slaw, but obviously the star of the show. I also had a chance to sample some of the fried fish and calamari from the mixed plate one of the other members of our party had. Those turned out really well too. I was surprised how much you get in the mixed plate and may try it next time. The service was good for the most part. They took a bit to notice I needed a refill and I was forced to flag someone down to take care of the issue. I also was left longer than I'd like waiting for a table when I had a reservation acknowledged in the system. There wasn't anything egregious about the customer service, but it wasn't 100% perfect either. The ambience was cool. I'm not a huge fan of outdoor seating. Usually the bugs and sunlight are enough to ruin a meal. But they had in place a lot of glass walls and sun shades to keep away most of those things. The seats they had outside were comfortable and the tables had a lot of space to seat our party of 3 without any squishing. I also enjoyed the vibe. As my friend Carly said, it reminds one a lot of Miami restaurant by the water. I thought it also had a lot of a tiki aesthetic. All of those are good things. All in all, I had a good meal and a good time. I'll definitely return and try to work my way through more of the menu.

Your Aloha Hour aka Happy Hour will start everyday (weekends too) at 3pm at the newest pacific catch at brea mall with so many delicious bites ranging between $5-$10 and drinks at $9! Taste and sip the flavors of Hawaiian, Japanese and Mexican all at one spot. You must get that ribs, fish tacos, spicy poke, sweet potato fries and I know the zucchini doesn't look like much but I love it. Can you believe Thai Tea too? Pick a spot at the bar or enjoy the breezy patio or spacious dining area, every spot is served with great service. Located in the newest wing of Brea Mall across from North Italia and next to The Melt.

I like the beautiful interior, feels kind of like a Hawaii resort. The service was also top notch. The waiters and waitresses were attentive and quick to refill my water Foodwise I thought everything was delicately made. The sea bass was grilled well and it came with a well paired sauce. I think where this place fell short was the classic... price to quantity ratio. I get we're not at long John silvers but my 34 dollar lobster roll was taken down in 2 bites.... My mom asked for some and I had to say no. Sorry mom. I get it's Mother's Day but they already gave you a free mimosa. (They actually gave her a free mimosa and jk my mom didn't want any). I guess another consideration is I just had a big a$$ mouth. The taste is clean but nothing I haven't had. Overall I thought all the fish we tried were tasty but we had to pick up some 40 piece McDonald nuggies afterwards.

    Kanpachi - Kona, Hawaii

First time at this location and I like the aesthetics of the interior, it kinda makes you feel like you're in Cabo. I sat at the bar and there was no wait, bartender Rebecca was attentive and nice. I tried their kanpachi with their signatures sauce and it was pretty good. The fish tasted fresh and i liked my sides as well. I also tried the mixed catch platter and although it was decent- i dont think its worth it. 50% of the portions are fries (fries werent good), and on their website it says it comes with 3 coconut shrimp however mine didn't have that. So either they forgot or false advertisement.

My husband and I dined at Pacific Catch during their soft opening and had a great dining experience. For starters we had the guac poke appetizer. For our entree we each had the summer sea bass. For dessert we had the dulce de leche rolls. Our server was very attentive and personable. The place is beautiful inside and outside. We asked to be seated outside and it was a nice outdoor patio setting. Definitely recommend Pacific Catch Brea location.

Super happy they opened one closer to home. We used to have to drive to Tustin. I love this place. My husband swears they have the best burger. Must get for me are the poke, salmon bowl or plate with the sweet potatoes and kimchi rice-so good. I can eat this every day. Other must try is the guaca-poke. Great service and cute place, instantly reminds me of our Hawaii vacations.

Barramundi Sea Bass - Vietnam with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes

Came to check out Pacific Catch on Mother's Day. Thought it was a nice touch that they were offering a glass of prosecco or a mimosa to all the moms. I enjoyed the grilled barramundi sea bass with some grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. The entire meal was really tasty and the mashed potatoes were SO good. I loved the interior which felt like you were at a nice, modern resort in Hawaii. Our server was super personable and very kind. Did a nice job of sharing his recommendations since this was my first time at Pacific Catch. I would definitely love to come back and try something else next time!

Unprofessional and Hazardous Dining Experience - Disregarding Child & Food Safety We dined here today and were seated at a table right next to the front reception/host stand, with my children sitting on the inside. Throughout our entire meal, the hosting staff continuously and aggressively sprayed alcohol/sanitizer right in our direction to clean menus and the counter. There was absolutely no barrier or shield between the host stand and our dining table. The chemical mist was constantly drifting directly over our food and toward my family. This is incredibly unprofessional and a serious health hazard. Spraying airborne chemicals so close to active dining tables--especially with young toddlers present--shows a complete lack of basic food safety protocols and common sense. We left feeling incredibly anxious about whether our food had been contaminated. Management desperately needs to retrain their staff on how and where to properly sanitize items away from customers.

First visit for newly opened (within 2 weeks of Grand Opening). Sat at the long rectangular bar and unexpectedly saw a fellow patron of the local dining scene whom I joined to experience the newest addition to the Brea Mall restaurants. Pacific Catch is a refreshing dining and gathering experience! Staff was very friendly and attentive! The Happy Hour menu was a culinary preview of the main menu. I had the Guaca-Poke, spicy Tuna rolls and Baja fish taco serve with blue tortillas chips along with a Modelo Especial. The bar area was very comfortable and pleasing to the senses. Derick the general manager came over to my friend and i and asked how we were doing and offered us a complimentary dessert to share (my friend chosen the delicious pineapple butter cake and vanilla gelato). What a wonderful first impression!! I'll be back soon!

We were fortunate to attend a pre-opening practice run at this gorgeous brand new location. Even with training wheels, we had a terrific meal and experience! The wife had the barramundi and I had the three tacos (steak, sea bass, fried cod) and it was all delicious! The portions here are beyond generous for the price. We were checked on frequently but not intrusively, with constant coaching from the managers to fine tune the staff's game. It's very apparent that the management cares deeply about guest experience. Hey - don't be afraid of the patio! The tropical vibes surround and personally controllable heaters for every seat! So neat. Situated next to Din Tai Fung and North Italia - the restaurant game in Brea just skyrocketed and Pacific Catch is a perfect fit!

    Pina Colada and Mojito

Second time coming to Pacific Catch and I am hooked! Our server Mini was an absolute delight, she was so friendly and helpful. We ordered the piña colada and Mojito (nonalcoholic) and they were both very refreshing. The first time I came here I had the chirashi bowl, which was fresh and delicious. The shrimp taco was so good I ordered the three taco platter this time (not pictured), which was definitely the highlight for me. Great new place in Brea for amazing service and quality seafood.

Do not be fooled by my photo LOL. It is indeed NOT FAT. They're very light on the sauces. The dutch bread is fireee asf and honestly the saving grace of this sandwich. Service: 5/10 The staff were pretty timid, but they were nice. They took LONG ASF to make three little sandwiches. Bro, 30+ minutes?? For some sandwiches??? This is coming from someone who's worked food service. They weren't even busy fam. They had like 2-3 dine-in customers that already had their sandwiches and like 2 online orders. Also, some of the tables were dirty. Had to clean ours with a napkin. Ambiance: 6/10 The interior design was pretty nice. It did feel quite empty inside. The arrangement of the tables is pretty sporadic. They could definitely convert the tables into booths with all the space they got, but it seems like they don't get a lot of foot traffic. Parking lot was quite small, but my friends and I had no issues finding a spot. TDLR: Sandwiches aren't worth the price. If you don't care about prices, have at it. I wouldn't come back here purely because our sandwiches took 30+ minutes to come out as dine-in customers. Parking lot is small but found no problem finding a spot.
