I love the sandwiches at JJ never a bad sandwich. The service is always great especially the cashier John, he's always welcoming and very kind. Best Jimmy John's I've ever been to! Placed a mobile order and it was ready on time, my order was correct, and it tasted delicious! Not only were the sandwiches actually perfectly put together (as opposed to thrown together like a lot of places do nowadays) but everything tasted fresh and delicious! The store itself was clean and organized. The staff members were friendly and helpful. And the older gentleman here truly makes the store what it is! He's so friendly and inviting. He saw us eat our sandwiches at the tables outside with our dog and came out to offer our pup some turkey. Can't recommend this location enough! Such an unexpected hidden gem here in Brea. The only negative thing I can say is that the fountain water was awful so save yourself the trouble and just buy a drink! read more

The staff working on October 16 around 2 PM were absolutely extraordinary, super friendly, upbeat, and funny. My sandwich was made so fast I barely had time to sit down! Dear Jimmy John's, why tease us pickle lovers like this? I finally tried the pickle-wrapped veggie sandwich with pickle chips, and it was everything, crunchy, tangy, salty, refreshing, and totally addictive. But why is it seasonal?! This needs to be a permanent menu item because one season of pickle joy just isn't enough. Until then, I'll be patiently (okay, impatiently) waiting for its return. read more

The staff is friendly and attentive. They really pay attention to the details of the food orders, and they are very accommodating with personal preferences. For gluten-free you can order their lettuce wrap. Loved loved loved their sandwiches- my first time today! I was honestly not feeling sandwiches today but my bf wanted to grab a quick meal after our workout. and after that meal im so happy we went. We ordered a #9 italian night club (10/10) and #12 beach club (10/10). Added onions cucumbers and tomatoes on each and got a side of peppers which were really good too. They also have really nice seating and the place itself is really clean! Bill & Carson were the mvps of our visit. Bill was so kind and helped make suggestions while Carson whipped out our sandwiches in literally seconds after we ordered. We arrived at approximately 9:10pm and were told that they would close at 10:00. We ordered in under 5 minutes. Food came out promptly. We were ready to respectfully be out by 10:00pm. But instead the servers kept coming to clear plates and take our napkins. It was approximately 9:40 and 3/4 members of our party were done. The server came again started further removing dishes and even placed a dish on top of something that was still being eaten even while we told them that we were not done yet. We would've have been out by 9:50 if they let us finish eating in peace. Instead we paid a good amount of money to eat rushed and excessively interrupted just to get us out 5 minutes sooner. Bad service. We were out by 9:46 and walked out disappointed.

We sat for over **20 minutes** without anyone coming to our table--not even to offer water. I eventually had to get up and ask someone to send a server over. What made it even more frustrating was watching other parties who arrived **15-20 minutes after us** receive water immediately and have their orders taken before anyone even acknowledged our table. After finally waiting another 10 minutes to receive our water, we had to track down our server again just to place our food order because no one returned to check on us. By that point, we had been sitting long enough and were more than ready to order. To make matters worse, we ordered an appetizer of coconut shrimp about five minutes after placing our entrée order, but it never arrived. After we had already finished our meals, we asked to cancel it, only to be told that our server had never entered the order in the first place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the poor service. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. This experience was frustrating enough that I cannot recommend Reunion Kitchen. I initially wanted to believe this was simply an off day or an inexperienced server, but after hearing from two other people I know who described nearly identical experiences, it seems this may be a recurring issue. One thing that left me especially uncomfortable was seeing guests who arrived well after us receive prompt attention while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I can't say why that happened, but it certainly made us question whether we were being treated differently. I sincerely hope the restaurant looks into its service standards and ensures every guest is treated with the same level of respect and attention.

COME TO THIS LOCATION!!! Ok so we love this location. When we visit, we always eat inside because the ambiance is top tier! However, today, we realized there's so many things that contribute to our experience and the care that's taken in this space. We also realized that we've never written an intentional review before, so today is that day. This location is by far the best. Be clear, Jimmy John's is known for being fast, but many locations sacrifice ambience, care, intentionality, and knowledge of the menu for speed. This location does NOT do that. They treat every customer like it's their first time, EVERY TIME. Jun & Dan are a fantastic team ! From helping us decide our order, to suggesting different ways to make our sandwiches taste more amazing, these guys are always on point! I decided to stick with the Mexican theme and ordered the Carne Asada pizza (marinated steak, cilantro pesto, shaved poblano peppers, yellow onion, mozzarella and Monterey jack cheese, cilantro, served with roasted salsa verde, $21). About fifteen minutes later, our server arrived with my pizza. Unfortunately, he had some bad news that the kitchen had accidentally dropped her pizza and they were remaking it right away. We were offered a free dessert to make up for it. Her pizza finally arrived about ten minutes later. We have had these pizzas before and enjoyed them again. They are pretty filling and we both took home several slices for later. For our free dessert, we had the mini butter cake flight (dark chocolate & brownie crumble, fresh strawberries in puree, and smoked bacon & maple, all served on small butter cakes with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream). They were all good, and this plate is a perfect sweet finish for two that won't leave you in a sugar coma. Our server Daniel was very friendly, and very apologetic about the kitchen mishap. I appreciated the free dessert, but in hindsight her pizza should have probably been comped instead since I was almost done eating by the time her pizza finally arrived. We will continue to return periodically or order delivery via DoorDash, which is our usual method.
