Purchased a fan almost 10 months ago. Fan has been making louder noises as the weeks go by. Fan has a lifetime motor warranty and a year manufacture warranty. With all that said we told they did not want the fan back in there shop they also did not have a service person available to come out and diagnose problem. If we wanted someone to come out we would need to pay for it. Terrible customer service will never purchase anything from this shop. In Hawaii, ceiling fans are important. Go to people who specialize in ceiling fans for the best advice for your needs. Our home in Enchanted Lake gets SO hot. We had ceiling fans in the bedrooms but none in the living areas. We have purchased all of our ceilings fans from Pacific Ceiling Fans. Some from the old Ward location, a couple from the existing Aiea location. We had the first few installed by electricians we had doing other work. Just recently we used one of their recommended installers, Dr. Rob. All he does is install and repair ceiling fans, and he has stories about the fans people buy from Home Depot and Lowes. They often are beyond repair, but the ones from Pacific Ceiling Fan can be easily repaired with a new part (or sometimes even less). We've had good luck and good service with PCF so far. The only reason I'm shorting them a star is because they didn't have the fan we wanted in stock so we had to wait 3 weeks. But I'm sitting under a great, new, working ceiling fan now :) read more

These guys are great. Especially Blaine, who has been tireless in helping us. We bought 1 oversized living room fan and 4 flush mount ceiling fans from them, one of which continued to have an issue. We switched the fan out multiple times (at no additional cost to us, except for the independent installer) before we were able to determine the problem is probably not the fan but the ceiling where it's installed. Even still Blaine offered to make it good for us by swapping the model out to something better suited at no charge. I bought a fan that functions the best and would move the air the most........but really wanted one of the more desirable looking ones that were leaf blades or rattan blades. My fiance and I were looking for ceiling fans to install in our condo. I asked my dad for a place to get fans and he suggested this place. I totally trust his judgment because he's in the construction business and quality means everything. He told me to stay away from Home Depot because those fans will break easily and won't last long. So first I went to Pacific Ceiling Fans with my dad to check out the products. First person we talked to was very helpful. He asked very detailed questions so that I could find something that would fit perfectly into our place. After looking at the inventory and getting ideas, I went to talk to my fiance about it. So I came back with my fiance another day. We had a different person this time, but he was also very helpful. I have to say the staff there is awesome. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We were set on these 3 fans, but we wanted to make sure that everything would fit. Blaine (our salesperson) said to definitely take our time and make sure that it would fit in our condo. So we went back home to make sure all the fans would match and fit perfectly. When we went back Blaine helped us again and gave us great advice regarding remotes and switches for the fans. Also told us the return policy was very relaxed there. If you find out when you get home that the color doesn't match or even if it doesn't fit properly, you can return it as long as you didn't cut the electrical wires. You can even leave it assembled and they are totally fine with that. If the fan motor dies, or need any help at all, he said to just call him or come in. My husband wanted to window shop for ceiling fans after I have mentioned we will need ceiling fans for our kids next year. That it would be nice to buy it maybe black Friday or even after December when inventory is all high and they'll need to get rid of it. Over a month ago I bought a fan from here and it took me a month to get an electrician to come to install it. Before the electricians even opened the box they could tell it was retapped up and once they got in the box a part of the fan were missing, baggies of the blades (they were scratched up) and other parts were open. After looking at my receipt to bring it back in I realized they didn't give me the extender rod I paid for. Once I drove to the shop (I live on the other side of the island so it was a pain in the butt to go back out there) the pushy sales man tried to just give me a new part but I wanted a whole new fan box that had not been opened. I had him open that box and all the parts were tightly sealed up how they should be. When I told him I never received the rod he told me "you should really check your receipt before you leave the store!" I'm sorry, I don't know anything about fans (thats your job) and didn't know if the rod was in the box or not. Your sales man should of checked our almost $400 receipt to make sure he gave us everything we paid for. Especially after I had verbally asked the first salesman "Do we have everything?" and we were assured twice "yes, you're good to go." I understand people make mistakes, we're all human but this wasn't ordering a burger from McDonalds, these fans are expensive! The thing that bothers me the most is that there was no "I'm sorry for our error, let me fix that." Only a "you should check your receipt," like them giving me a $300 fan missing parts and not handing me the parts I paid for was my fault! I can't tell you the quality of the fan because it's going to take another couple weeks to get my electrician back.. I personally would of gone with the other fan store in the same parking lot if I would ok known they were going to pull something like this on me. read more

Really great service. Once of the fans we bought had a burning smell, took it back. They immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Also, we broke one of the glass pieces to the fan. We walked into Pacific Fan Shop in Aiea on Saturday, the salesperson was trying to sell us a fan that was in stock, unfortunately the fan we liked was 2 to 3 backordered wait. We needed to replace the one we have had that just stopped working after 25+ years. When we kinda decided on a type we asked to feel the air flow, lets just say it was not cool, so we had asked about installation on backordered one and the salesperson guy gave us a list of installers and he told us we basically you on our own to contact the installer yourselves. I do not know about you but for me before I buy I need some guarantees that I will not be left holding a fan with no installer so I asked him to contact the installer before we pay and he basically stated your on your own! Very happy I decided to shop here instead of big box store. The quality of their products are the biggest reason to come here. Manager Christian is very knowledgeable and helpful. We were concerned with the moisture in our house and he showed us all the fans that were damp/wet rated and that were right for the size of our rooms. I am not experienced in installing ceiling fans and now that the fans are up and running, I think about all the silly questions I was asking him, but he happily answered them the best he could. Exact same fan on Amazon included everything with free shipping to Hawaii and was a few bucks less than what they wanted to charge me just for the fan.
