The next day I got a confirmation that my part was ready. I had already paid for the item and began to ask the staff a few more questions before leaving. Come to find out I had the wrong item. He directed me to the electronics where I got the correct parts I needed. Ask questions folks before you leave the store to avoid returning another day. I got everything hooked up successfully. Samantha works with Ferguson's headquarters in Virginia, inside sales representative that answers calls about plumbing and lighting. She doesn't give up trying to find me a hard to find uncommon part. I needed shortest length (1 foot) 3/8" double ended gas line connector, or 3/8" on one end and 3/8" mail FLARED end on the other end. Hardly anything uses 3/8", so Home Depot and Ace do not carry it, but Lowes did carry 3/8" but it was 36" long. I don't have room in my RV cabinet (to hook up RV fridge to run on propane) for all that hose. Samantha made several phone calls to manufacturers to find me that hose, but some manufacturers were not available. So she had to call me back next day. Well she never did call me back, so I assume she didn't find a 12" hose, but a friend had one in his garage, that he didn't need. I didn't even think they existed. If I had a company, I sure would be honored to have an employee like Samantha. I wish she could work for some of the property management companies that "aren't there for me" and give me horrid service, that I have to beat out of them.

We refused the part and then theybtried to charge a restock fee, and a return shipping fee. We called them and said that wasn't right and their customer service agent agreed. We were grateful for that.

There was a delay in getting panels on appliances because they said it wasn't their responsibility even though we contacted for them to install. I've had a dishwasher installed for 6 weeks with 3 different guys to fix it and was told by one of the repair guys that it wasn't installed correctly and he won't touch it. Still doesn't work and I can't get them to install a new one. After looking on this site to review them I see they get 2 1/2 stars! After spending 90,000 you would think I could get 3 star service.

This is a horrible location! I live closer to and usually shop the Bell Rd/Tatum store, and that…read morelocation is spectacular. All the managers/employees, especially Manager Jason, are awesome there. Unfortunately they were out of the Midea portable floor AC unit I needed and had to go to the N Hayden location. I had purchased this unit from the Bell Rd Home Depot location on May 29th, 2026, and unfortunately it already died. I filed a claim with Midea, and provided them with all necessary documentation. After several days of review, they sent me a "Return Goods Authorization" (RGA) for a direct exchange at Home Depot. I originally went to the Bell Rd Home Depot, but they were sold out of the unit. They were very nice and called the Hayden location, who had the item in stock, and had them set it aside. I drove 25 minutes to the Hayden location and went to customer service with my form and unit. They had the new unit waiting. The customer service employee had never seen the form. I asked her to call a manager, as a manager should be familiar with this form and process. It took her about 20 minutes to locate the manager via phone. When she finally located the manager, Travis, she explained the situation to him. Travis never came to the Customer Service area in person, and on the phone, he just said that he would not exchange it. I told her he is wrong, I have all the documentation and he should at least come look at it because this is pre-approved through Midea and Home Depot. Travis refused to present himself in person, and they sent me packing, refusing to exchange. I hauled my merchandise back out to the parking lot and into my vehicle, and called the Home Depot customer service line. I explained the situation and the customer service representative was awesome and apologized regarding Travis. She asked for the case # and RGA# on my form and placed me on hold. She came back a short time later, apologized, and said go back in the store, that she spoke with Mr Travis, and they would exchange it like they were supposed to. She said I would probably see Travis back at customer service when I went back in. So I went back in, of course no Travis to be found, and they did exchange the unit like they should have. The employees were not overly friendly, but I understand they were following Travis' direction. Travis is a HORRIBLE representative for Home Depot and he represents the worst in customer service and not what Home Depot is known for. My guess would be this isn't their first issue with him. If you do have to shop this store, just hope you don't have to deal with Travis. Travis, at the minimum, you could've done your job. For me, I'll avoid the Hayden location and continue to shop the Tatum/Bell store as they represent everything great that Home Depot is known for!!!
