The first thing you need to know is that Pacific Sales is inside Best Buy! Yes, it's in Best Buy. But wow, what a change in a way of doing business!!! Yes, I did intend to hit the exclamation point key three times! If you have ever shopped in a Best Buy for a large item, we all know the horror of the shenanigans that go on when you're ready to buy something. "I would recommend our Two Year Service Contract for 250 zillion dollars" Ugh. Pacific Sales doesn't do that! In fact, when we recently purchased a replacement stove and microwave, they didn't even ask us. Oh, by the way, the service is excellent. We setup a date for the home delivery and it arrived on time, both instances. No excuses. They leveled the stove very professionally and carted away our old one. Very nice. We couldn't be happier. And, the prices and selection were better than Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears, and every other appliance store we shopped. I guess I've run out of my allotment of exclamation points. read more

If I could give them a negative star I would. STAY AWAY. The sales reps are great and very thorough however the delivery company is terrible! They set appointments and no showed as well as committed times and dates..no showed again. Now one of my items is on backorder until mid January and I have already been waiting 4 weeks. It is not worth the hassle..you can buy anything on Amazon. The call center mocked me and then told me I should have my husband handle it. I do not have a husband and that was very rude. Ebony is the rep and she put me on speaker phone to have her team listen to our conversation and they were laughing. I have never been treated worse in my life~ read more

I have bought appliances from entry level to high end, from a variety of retailers on the East Coast. I have never had a retailer that didn't stand behind what they sell, until now. Late January of this year, I bought a Kitchen Aid refrigerator from this retailer, and it was delivered in February. In May/June we had to have the whole water dispenser unit replaced because it leaked severely. Now, the refrigerator has stopped working all together. Pacific Sales tells us we have to take it up with Kitchen Aid; we're still in the 1 yr warranty period but have to take it up with the manufacturer. Which means that twice before the year is even up, we're having the unit repaired. Since we are in the 1 yr warranty period, I think it would be AWESOME service if Pacific Sales would replace the unit with a new one, and take it up with Kitchen Aid. As an individual consumer I have no pull with the manufacturer, while Pacific Sales, as one of their distributors, might have a little more impact. I can't Kitchen Aid to answer the phone.... so I'm left with an 8 month old refrigerator that doesn't work and the people I bought it from have washed their hand of it. DON'T BUY FROM THEM, BECAUSE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG THEY DON'T CARE!!!! read more

We came in here desperate from a horrible experience with two other appliance places trying to get a dishwasher. Our sales person was very nice, but failed to follow through with getting us the actual appliance we ended up purchasing. After purchasing the dishwasher, we were told to come back the next morning after 10am to pick it up. We were behind our deadline from a kitchen remodel and a dishwasher is all we were missing. We go there with a truck when we were instructed and what do you know--the dishwasher didn't make the delivery. The lady "helping" us discover that looked like a deer in headlights with no real apologies and no solution. She did make one good move and went to get a Best Buy manager to see what he could do. Failure to follow through on actually getting us the dishwasher we ordered and a lack of concern for the fact that they failed us makes me have to leave only one star. read more

Was shopping around for a new gas range and microwave. Had pretty much decided to buy LG as all my other appliances are LG. Went to all the other appliance stores and Best Buy without Pacific Sales. The sales people weren't really knowledgeable and wanted to sell me what they had in stock instead of a higher in LG that would take two months to get here from South Korea, it seemed. Went to Pacific Sales and boy were they busy. I found out why after the Salesman Martin waited on me. He was very knowledgeable on LG products and knew off the top of his head what the newest features of the model I wanted. He even advised me about how the back of the stove would need to align with my gas line i was having installed. I was very pleased with his knowledge and service and was able to have both appliances delivered in the next couple of days instead of waiting weeks with the other retailers. read more

I wanted to upgrade my late 90's cooktop to a commercial range top. After a less-than-stellar experience at Spencers, I headed over to Pacific Sales (Best Buy). I found the ideal range top (by Kitchen Aid), however, to make a long story short, the heat put out by this commercial range top would require that I also install a vent hood over the range top, which I wasn't quite prepared to do, so this upgrade plan has been put on temporary hold. However, during this whole protracted learning process, I have nothing but positives to say about Dominic, my sales person. He, along with Larry and Ken from KB Appliances, made every attempt to try to find workable alternatives, without being overly pushy. (Just a side note - induction cooking was attractive, but usually requires a 50 amp line for the 5 and 6 burner models, not to mention I would need to replace most of my pans). I couldn't have asked for a more responsive and hard working person. Thanks Dominic! read more

It appears that this is a problem with Best Buy / Pacific Sales at the Pima Road location and its delivery company. Everyone that I spoke to at Best Buy / Pacific Sales, other than Pima Road location, was concerned and considered the treatment outrageous. Best Buy / Pacific Sales compensated us ($250) for the 11 hours we waited to receive the refrigerator. Best Buy / Pacific Sales then delivered the fridge first thing Saturday 9/7. I still recommend avoiding Best Buy / Pacific Sales at Pima Road location until there has been a change in management or at a minimum a new delivery service. read more
