I've been living here for about 2 years now. The apartments look nice and they are, however they would be better if they were gated. Theres been times when I leave for work at 5:00 am and see guys in cars smoking weed and drinking, or homeless digging out trash and throwing it in the floor. I wouldnt mind paying a bit more for a gated community, it would make the complex feel more secure in a way. We've never had any issues with the office staff mainly because we dont interact with them, when we report things wrong with the apartment they get fixed, sometimes it takes a while but they get fixed. My only complain with the office staff is that they seem to go on break or close the office quite often, i know they get lunch and breaks as well but ive been there multiple times different times different days and usually its closed. I try calling them and thwy dont pick up. How can new potential residents get in touch with them if they have the office closed often or dont pick up the phones? Another issue I have is that while they do hace a "security" guard he is not there everyday or often, theres been times when i want to take my niece to the playground but I cant because there is guys smoking weed in the benches. The apartments from inside are nice and comfortable only thing that sucks is that even if you have the best internet/wifi there is it will still suck there. read more

I've been living here for over a year now and recently renewed my lease. Like the other reviews I was skeptical about moving here as well since there was a lot of bad feed back but I have to say that I don't regret moving into these apartments and had a good experience so far. Yes they did recently have rent increase but compared to the others apartments nearby the price is a steal for the space you get. I never really had any problems with the management/staffs. Yes parking can be horrible since there isn't any street parking due to living so close to Disneyland. So besides parking issues I would have to say that I don't really have any complaints. read more

I like living here. Yes it has faults but so does everywhere else. The management has changed 4 times in 8 months and there doesn't seem to be much communication between them as things don't get passed along during the transition. I have seen 1 roach in my apartment in the 8 months I've lived here. My apartment has been prevention sprayed at the managements expense twice. Parking sucks. This is the biggest flaw. 1 bedroom means 1 garage. But we only hav e one car so it's not a big deal every day it becomes an issue when you want to have guests over. The apartment is huge. The rent is reasonable and the location is perfect. read more

I want to express my appreciation for the management team here at Pacific Palms apartment. Jeanine and Sylvia the office management team has provided excellent customer service; they are always welcoming and greets everyone that enters the office. I have never experienced such amazing accommodation and hospitality from any rental property until now. The office team sincerely cares about their tenants and treats everyone as a VIP. In addition, Sylvia and Jeanine are very accommodating with the parking situation, they have offered many solutions and alternatives to help with parking. Since the day I moved in any work orders that I needed were handled very professionally and handled in a timely manner. The maintenance team are very polite and prompt with all work orders and the security team on the property makes pacific palms a pleasant and safe area to live. Overall the management team will be there to help all tenants out if you are willing to work with them. I enjoy living here at Pacific Palms because of the incredible management staff that's here, and I would highly recommend others to consider this place if they are apartment hunting. read more

This place is the worst!!! I been living here for the past five months I can't wait for our lease to end! Where do I start well the town home I'm in is not that bad it's def overpriced for very old homes, it's pretty quiet in the area I'm at a lot of kids running around in there bikes and skateboards which btw is not permitted, they have a gym that closes at 6pm? Dirty laundry room you have to pay $1.75 per load, not gated community so weirdos and low life's always lurking around the garages trying to see what they can steal. NO GUEST PARKING!! Everyone is assign 1 space car garage per household so if you have two cars you gotta park in an open space which there is only about 20 free parking space with parking permit only,they are all taken by 4:00pm most of the time I have to park 3-4 blocks away because there is no parking! Keep in mind there is about 100 units in this place and only 20 free parking spots how does that even work? People will wait HOURS in the parking lot just to get a parking space, that is just ridiculous. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS. I WISH I WAS WARNED read more

Giving five stars not because it's the ritz Carlton or anything but because it is a solid place to come home at night. I wasn't over or undersold, they were absolutely front up about the issues (mainly parking) before signing the lease. With that said when things have gone wrong the PP maintenance team has been responsive and quick to resolve and never have they left leaving me questioning the quality of the work (like other places I have lived). The units are priced competitively in comparison to what other places in OC get away with charging for less. Since move in they have extended hours of the laundry rooms and fitness center to reasonable hours instead of 8pm and 5pm. The complex feels like a neighborhood, with kids constantly playing around, as well as a share of the Disneyland feral cats. read more

So I wanted to take the time and do an update on my "home" I have to agree with people when saying parking SUCKS!!!! The office has said that they were in the process of "fixing" it but have made everything worse! You now have to pay $55 a month extra for a parking spot if you have a 2 bedroom, but if you have a 3 bedroom you get 2 parking spots for free?? I pay $1465 a month for rent for a 2 bedroom, the 3 bedrooms are only $100 more, so your telling me I now have to pay $1,520 for rent and a parking spot? But why not just get a 3 bedroom for $50 more?? this place is just trying to rip people off. On top of that I now have to try and rush home because I need a parking spot out of the 15ish spots that are available. And I have a special needs nephew that I have to get home before dark, but if I don't find a spot I have to make him walk over half a mile down the street. There has also been a old beat up VW that has been sitting in a parking spot since I have been living there for over 8 months. I have complained about this car sitting there and the office has still not moved it. THE CAR HAS SPIDER WEBS ALL OVER IT!!!! Tow that son of a b!!! Over all I can't wait for my lease to be up so we can move out of here... Oh before I forget I hope you like to see 16 year old kids smoking out of a bong in the middle of the alley at 5 in the afternoon. read more

They DO NOT tell you about the parking situation. And if by DESIGNATED parking you mean the street. Yes we do park at our "designated" parking spot. I rather pay $76 for a ticket over $400 of tow truck that takes my car all the time even during the day!!! Fed up with this non sense. Poor management. Poor business. read more

i'm not perfect, but this is my own complaint about this place. i have lived in this apartment since november 2013, thinking it was all great and cheap and gigantic. being a first time apartment leaser, ever in my entire life, i was not expecting it to be this horrible at all. in the beginning, everything was fine, after a month or two, it started getting really bad for me. i had police squad knock on my door twice, looking for known fellan who is using my address, woke me up twice, both at 7 in the morning. insect infestation: i'm not perfect, and i have lived in a house that was not that clean either, but never did live on a roach infested house. it started as one or two on the kitchen counter top, to cabinets and bathrooms, and trying to get in my refrigirator. i left it alone for about 8 months, because i didnt want to complain too much about anything, in fear of being mistreated by the leasing office. i made a final and verbal complaint to one of the leasing office employee and set a date to have the apartment sprayed, took down everything from my cabinets, covered everthing and took furnitures away from walls to have the sprayer get in easy , even left notes on where to spray the most. one week passed by, still saw maybe 5-10 roaming around, called sylvia from leasing office, she said wait until two weeks for the spray to take effect, and i would just see them dead ( spray was from 08/14/14, it is now 10/01/14 and i have more roaches than ever. i have called and complained, its like one fix should be enough. i will not risk breaking my back again and being tired to get my apartment ready for spray. parking: horrible, i always, always follow rules and regulation for the fact that i cant afford to pay for any citation tickets, nor towing cost. i have learned the hard way to park far for my family and friends if they wanted to visit (which happened twice since i lived here) the parking really sucks, everyone else can park wherever and whenever they want, without being citated nor towed, but god forbid, i park or my family member parked for 5 minutes on parking space, they are yelled at by a leasing office employee to get out and threatened to be towed. (not nice). also, regulations about parking changed 3 times since i started living here, the last regulation was to call the number for upland security to register my visitor car, i had called and i was told that theres no available space to be given, i clearly had a parking space , the last space of the parking lot, and he said no. ughhh, what a nightmare this place is. parking was suppose to have been fixed a few months way back before i started living here, and i was actually one of the tenants who was punctual about turning in notice regarding parking. i was promised a number 8th slot in the waiting list, never got a call for it until now. i had to complain 3 times to actually have my name put on the list, instead of being told i was being put on, caught them a few time of bad communication with each other. noise: my neighbors are very rude, being that i'm the only one that has a one bedroom in our own little 4 unit apartment, i hear loud walks ( my kitchen is under the neighbors bedroom), fights, rude remarks, loud music, inappropriate remarks diciplining their children, lots of use of f* word, (which is fine, but do it discreatly) i dont need to hear their business, the kids loudly kick soccer balls on my side of the wall, skate board on my steps everyday. the ball gets in to my backyard all the time. they close their door loudly, children kicking walls loudly, stomp on floors loudly. neighbors: 2 out of my close to neighbors are rude, other wise the rest are friendly, they park anywhere they want, they can have anything they want in their backyard, but i received my own notice to take out my piece of furniture or i will be fined. my neighbors still have everything in their back yard. it feels like theirs favoritism in our community. leasing office employees: very nice, but does not get the job done, they dont have good communication skills with each other, you tell one employee, it never gets to manager, they tell you manager will call you, she never does. the only time i was called was to make sure if i was using another garage, which i was not, i have to access to it, and to remind me that my dishwasher was being replaced. i love sean, i vent out to him everytime, he was the only one who listened and actually gave the message to the manager to get the stuff done. unfortunatley still not enough, its still causing me problems. i called fo rthe last time today, to let them know that i want to break the lease without paying the fees. i do have proof that i can break the lease under california tenant law if a) infestations of cockroaches, rats, or other vermin c) noisy neighbors in your building. iam a very patient person, but enough is enough, need to break my lease soon, cant believe i waited almst a yr to leave. read more

I have lived here for about a year now and plan on staying here longer. The main reason for this is because the apartment layout cannot be beat. My one bedroom is huge with an upstairs bedroom, good closet space, and restroom. The downstairs living area is open and the kitchen is the perfect size. My apartment has a new gas stove, built in overhead microwave, and dishwasher. It did not come with a refrigerator. The apartment also has a large outside patio on the bottom floor as well as an upstairs balcony where I can see the disneyland fireworks. I would mainly recommend this place to Disney cast members because it is super close to the park. Somedays when I'm not feeling lazy I can walk to KLOT in less than 10 minutes and take the shuttle to work. They also do a Disney cast member discount, which isn't a lot, but it's better than nothing. Rent is affordable and the new laundry mat is "loads of fun." They say they are putting in a fitness center next door but that remains to be seen. Parking is the biggest dilemma so if you have more than one car it can be tricky. You can reserve parking spots in advance and I believe you can rent another spot if on availability for an additional cost. I only have one car and the one bedroom comes w a one car garage. As for the roaches as long as your not leaving food out and being messy it isn't a concern. I saw a few little bugs when I first moved in and bought some bug traps and haven't had an issue since. There are a lot of families that live in the complex and often kids running around, but everyone is really nice. There is a playground in the middle with picnic tables and bbq's for anyone to use although you can still have a BBQ on your patio. I've lived in many apartments around the area and this one has been the best. I hope this review helps you. read more

I was referred to these apartment by my friend who lives here. Last week I walked into the office to see the one bedroom they have available. It is a huge one bedroom with lots of space. It had newer appliances and smelled clean and showed nice. It also has a long large patio is perfect for my pet. The apartment grounds are kept very clean and it seemed pleasant. Both lady's at the office are awesome and gave me all the information I need and more (thank you!). I'm a little sad they didn't have anything available in December but I will check with them again in a couple of weeks. read more

I lived here for six months. At first glance, I was enchanted by the grounds, and bungalow style apartments. The price was decent, especially considering the square footage. Within two weeks I knew I had made a big mistake. Firstly, there's no parking. This is not an exaggeration. You rent a two or more bedrooms, you only get one parking spot. It's quite depressing, especially if you want to have guests over. There are cockroaches everywhere. My apartment was infested. Unfortunately, I packed some with me when I moved to a new place. It's kills me that the management team knows about the problem and, yet, is unwilling to take the necessary steps to ensure the roaches be gone once and for all. I really should've called the health department on them. Lastly, I had people knocking on my door late at night. I'm talking midnight or later. I would look out the peephole and every single time, it was an unknown male. I've lived at other amc properties and really like the company. But, this place is so degraded and hopeless. *******please be alert ********must read ******* i had to make a yelp account just to rate this place on how this place lacks professionalism period. i am very disappointed with the management. let me explain why, well i went to check out the apartments on 09/30/16 and everything went great. we filled all paper work needed, since i still had to give a month notice to my current landlord the manager proposed to give a 100 dollars to hold the apartment for us, a week later i received a call from a different manager letting me know we were approved but we had to move the same week 10/15 so i explained what we had agreed with the manager we met on the property to move in in a month and how is it that she was letting us know we had to move in a week. at the end they agreed again to hold the apartment after all we had already paid the 100 dollars. 1 day after my husband gets a call asking him if we were going to move in the weekend , again my husband had to explain the situation again, they agreed again to wait. 10/14/16 - 3 days later we get a call from the manager stating the they would not be able to wait for us until nov. 1 and "if" they "would" wait they would give us a whole different apartment not the one we chose . i was very disappointed because i had already given my month notice to my current landlord and now i am expected to move out in 2 weeks or less , i had stuff packed already. after all it seems like they just took the application money and the hold money for the apartment. ******* please be very careful on what deals you make and who you make them with .. do not give out any money until you know everything is settle to go. *** almost 300 dollars for nothing., what kind of management is running those apartments ??!! seriously you cannot lead on people and take their money and later tell them you basically cant move in. read more

I will start with the good first. I have been a resident with this place since 2010 before they became AMC. There was a horrible bug issue, which AMC came in and totally changed that. I have seen this property go from 0 to 365. I was very pleased with all of the changes. I loved the cute little laundry facility the created and I loved to see how the property cleaned out the "bad seeds" There are some young teens who smoke weed in there, but that doesn't bother me because I mind my business. They never came around me with it. Parking has always been an issue there, so that has never surprised me. My issue is this. THE MANAGEMENT!!! I have been through 3 different apartment managers. Two of which I really liked. The other one, not so much. I have gone 2 whole cold winters without heat. I reached out to the office because the gas company put a red notice on my heater. I gave them the slip and the maintenance man came out to fix it, however he stated that because the heater was so old (mind you I transferred to a supposed renovated unit) he will need to come back with a switch that would make the heater operate. He never came back and when I followed up...NOTHING!! I have a child, so to depend on the fire place to give me heat was rediculous. You call them to fix things and they either half ass it, or don't fix it at all. You have to complain to get things done and good luck if they decide to answer the phone. They want you to pay this rediculous rent but don't want to fix anything. They have NEVER given me any incentive to re-sign my lease. Why I stayed so long baffles me. I have moved out of that place and so have several of my neighbors who have had similar issues. I have reached out to the manager to speak with their corporate office and she kept telling me that her boss Marie would call me. Still waiting on my call Marie!!! I was told by her as well as other reps in the office that Marie had several meetings and was really busy and she will call when she had a chance. No phone call. I have complained and complained and just decided that this management company will not change and it's best that I leave before I get insubordinate with these people. I wouldn't rent from ANY of their properties if this is how they treat their tenants. DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will never get answers to your questions. It's unfortunate because this is a really beautiful property, but it's ran by a bunch of corporate assholes. I have given this property no stars (even though i had to select one) because although they started off with an A, they have failed tremendously. Word of advice...to every business there is an engine that makes a company run. Without that engine, the company will fall apart and die. I look at the management as an engine for AMC. They are the face a representation of the company. They are who the consumer comes in contact with, to drive the business. When that engine isn't functioning properly or falling apart, the corporation falls apart. Get people in there that care about the tenants and the integrity of the company. I hope you all take these reviews as stepping stones and a way to improve your company and not give smart remarks and take offense to the comments, as I saw some of the comments made by the company to some of these reviews. read more

I really wish I could give this place 0 stars. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Fair warning! By far the worst place I've ever moved to! Roaches EVERYWHERE! Kids always yelling! Goodluck taking a nap. Parking is unrealistic. Ive been out till midnight looking for a spot and no parking on the streets without a permit. Also management is horrible. It took them over a month to fix my heat and i had to constantly call to remind them. And as far as bills they cover NOTHING! I was told otherwise when i moved in till i start getting bills for every little thing! From water all the way down to street sweeping. Ive called so many times and left messages to why im getting bills they told me they pay and of course absolutely no response. They dont care about anything but their money. I literally sleep at a friends or my moms house 90% of the time because im so grossed out of this place. Ive only been here for a couple months and cant wait to get out.
