Pacific Paving Stone did excellent concrete for us about 2 years ago! After extensively re-grading our backyard, they poured concrete. They poured a beautiful curved concrete path across our backyard and poured a thick concrete pad for the Jacuzzi that was installed later. The concrete looks great and has held up perfectly. They also removed some lawn and poured concrete in the front of our property. The work they did was beautiful, and the service was great. The workers were on time, efficient, professional, and personable. We would recommend Pacific Paving Stone to anyone doing smaller or larger jobs on their property. read more

I called Pacific because I was looking to get rid of our hideous cracked asphalt. I thought replacing with asphalt would have been the only option we would have. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be able to afford pavers. I was put in touch with Glen, who informed me that price wise is was pretty comparable. He was super patient with me for months, never bugging me, as I figured out what order to do our renovations and IF we were going to be able to even move forward on the project. Alas- I went into the office, sat down with Glen and Trent and voila! We signed a deal. We had just finished with roofers and painters and weren't super excited to work with a potentially new set of workers but we were pleasantly surprised. They were absolutely top notch wonderful from start to finish. We ended up with DG, rocks for accents, turf and a beautiful circular driveway with upgraded pavers. They had experts for each aspect of the install. First the demo team for the asphalt, then the dg and turf guys, followed by the pavers. Each step was smooth and flawless. We embarked on an extensive backyard and frontyard remodel and landscape project in 2020-2021. During this process, we replaced all of the old cement on our backyard patio and pool deck with pavers. Also, the brick front walkway to our front door was sinking and cracking. We repaired some broken drain lines in the front yard, then had the old walkway demolished and a new brick walkway set. Pacific Pavingstone took care of both projects. All phases - demolishing, prepping and setting the new pavers/bricks - were accomplished by knowledgeable and respectful crews and the work was done with no delays. I just had Pacific Pavingstone revamp my backyard It went from an area that was unusable to a place where we want to spend all of our time. They installed pavers, artificial turf, steppers and gravel. The workers were friendly and took great care in their work. They worked quickly and efficiently! They built a step down to the paving area and it is a work of art! I had a small issue with turf and they immediately sent someone out to fix the issue. Pacific was a little pricey, but they had done my parents yard 10 years ago and their yard still looks amazing! For Pavers, this is the company to go to. I needed a deck installed in my backyard around my pool (1450 SF with 300 SF border - not a small space) including drainage to the street and 537 SF of gravel on the side of my house. They were a bit more expensive than the company that installed my pool, but you pay for what you get. Pacific Pavingstone was super fast (they finished in a week vs a two week estimate from the other company), very professional, organized, and did a beautiful job with my pavers. For landscaping in the front yard, I did choose to go with Flores Landscaping because I loved the ideas of the landscape designer there and they were able to build the fence I needed as well (Pacific doesn't do fences), but I'm happy that I went with Pacific for the back! read more

We had a wonderful experience with Pacific Pavingstone. The work was A+, men who worked on the project were very professional in their dealings and workmanship. I had a large asphalt driveway that needed to be replaced. It is wide, steep, and had invasive bamboo sprouting from cracks. It was a mess. To make matters worse, it is highly visible from the street. In addition, parts of the pad at the top were inclined toward the garage, allowing water to seep in when it rained. We contacted Pacific Outdoor Living for a quote. Once we signed the contract, they gave us an anticipated start date and end date. To my surprise, they met both commitments and completed the project within the estimated cost. In addition, they worked with the city to obtain necessary permits and inspections. I was astounded by their conscientious workers and their skill in solving problems as they invariably arise in a project. I would not hesitate to recommend Pacific Pavingstone. They removed my old concrete driveway (a couple of truckloads) and had the whole thing installed in under 4 days. A demolition crew came, then a crew to lay sand and gravel and then a paving team. It was a big job too. around 1800 sq feet of paving with a slope to the drain and a small pathway. Extremely professional. On time, did what I asked and sprinklers were removed, capped and adjusted. I don't think I will ever need paving again, but if I did, I wouldn't bother with any quotes, I would just go straight back. I was also able to finance the entire job through their partnership with Wells Fargo. So, originally I thought I didn't have the funds to start this project....they came to the rescue. read more

This company just finished my driveway. I am not a big reviewer (lazy one) but I decided to write the review this time because this company deserves good review! As soon as I called the company, they were able to schedule to send Project estimator(Ken Avner). Ken came to my house very ready. He knew how to explain the process of the project(Since I am not the expert of remodeling stuff), which product to recommend(My budget was pretty tight but he was able to find the good product to fit my budget. I got 3 other company's estimation as well. But I was very happy with Quote of Ken) Me and my husband felt confident and safe to sign the contract with Ken right away. He came everyday to make sure things are going smoothly. When he is not at the site, one of the worker was able to call him for me so I can talk to him right away. Splashing cement, paint, sand and specially trash all over the place is a No-No. These guys keep it clean because they know how to work systematically. Everyone from our initial contact (Craig), to the office staff (Jessica), to the project manager (Ono), to every last contractor was professional, polite and efficient! We were pleasantly surprised with the overall cost and appreciated Craig's opinions on what would work best with our space and house style (and budget!). And when meeting with the project manager he suggested alternatives to our pathway/house lighting and several times went over a few drainage options to make sure that we didn't have a standing water issue up near the garage. To make matters complicated our street was being paved, and it was right in the middle of the rainstorms we recently had. I spoke with Noah today regarding a retaining wall. According to her they do not do retaining wall without landscaping. They have a minimum of $7,500, and their landscaping costs about $20K to $30K not including the retaining wall. Given the price I said that does not seem to be a price for residential homes rather than commercial. She said no, we do residential homes. I then said you wouldn't mind providing references. Noah said we do not provide references. You can go to our website and look at pictures of our work. I have never heard of such shady approach. We had to have Pacific pavingstone out once to take up the pavers that the gate rides on and just recently to repair the place in the driveway where the plumbers removed the pavers. I bought this house with massive driveway root damage and back patio settlement and root damage. I couldn't even use the driveway before. My wife and I were looking to redo our patio floor and we found Pacific Pavingstone online. We met with them, and arranged for one of their representatives/designers, Ken Avner to visit our home and let us know what he would recommend and the approximate cost. Ken was right on time and took a good look at the patio, made several detailed measurements, then discussed with us certain features of our patio and the paving stone that we had selected. We talked about drainage and time and cost. His rough time and cost estimates proved very accurate, and he got back to us quickly with a firm bid, which we accepted. Ken then brought a foreman named Onecimo out to see the site and we talked about when the work would be done, the time of day, the noise, etc. The work was then scheduled and commenced and proceeded as scheduled. Had an above average experience. For starters the project was finished so fast. I feel like when it comes to any kind of construction project I just expect the project to go way over schedule, this was not the case. The only problem I had was not being able to decide which styles to go with which took me some time to decide but after I knew what I wanted the designer was accommodating and flexible. I was told the back patio would be done in 7 days and it was. That was just one cool thing about it. The crew was super nice. There was no mess afterwards. Or while they were working on the pavers which has bugged me with other companies in the past. Pavers look great, they match the house.
