Pacific Outdoor completely redid our backyard, front yard landscaping, put pavers on the driveway, built us a pool, and we couldn't be happier!! They transformed the outside of our home, and it now looks and feels like a magazine spread! Just today, I received compliments from two separate strangers on the front yard. We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. They truly delivered, and it is better than we ever imagined! It was so easy to look at their choices and select what we wanted. They had a wide variety of design choices. We replaced most of the grass in the back with their pavers and used the same pavers for our driveway. They look fantastic. We have a neighbor that had Pacific Outdoor build them a firepit that they love. We received great guidance and attention from the full team all along the way. They didn't quit until the project was finished to our satisfaction. These guys did a wonderful job on both my driveway and a patio in my backyard after I decided to fill in my pool. (They had also done an excellent job on the pool deck five years earlier, before I knew I was going to fill in the pool.) I have been very pleased with the results, which have really elevated my enjoyment of my home's outdoor areas. I would also caution anyone considering going with System Pavers to steer clear of those crooks. I wasted thousands of dollars having them do a terrible job on my pool deck, and had to have Pacific rip out their work and fix it. It was an expensive mistake that I hope to save others from repeating. If I had gone with Pacific in the first place, I would have saved lots of money and hassle. We hired Pacific Outdoor Living (a sister company of Pacific Pavingstone) to redo a very basic pond in our backyard and to add a waterfall feature and they did an excellent job of creating a pond/waterfall feature that we enjoy on a daily basis. My property in Los Feliz had occasional water drainage challenges during periods of extreme rain. I consulted a number of different companies, most of which wanted to create a sump pump-type solution then channel muddied waters into a 100 year-old drainage pipe over 100 feet from the main street. Pacific Paving Stone did excellent concrete for us about 2 years ago! After extensively re-grading our backyard, they poured concrete. They poured a beautiful curved concrete path across our backyard and poured a thick concrete pad for the Jacuzzi that was installed later. The concrete looks great and has held up perfectly. I called Pacific because I was looking to get rid of our hideous cracked asphalt. I thought replacing with asphalt would have been the only option we would have. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be able to afford pavers. I was put in touch with Glen, who informed me that price wise is was pretty comparable. He was super patient with me for months, never bugging me, as I figured out what order to do our renovations and IF we were going to be able to even move forward on the project. Alas- I went into the office, sat down with Glen and Trent and voila! We signed a deal. We had just finished with roofers and painters and weren't super excited to work with a potentially new set of workers but we were pleasantly surprised. They were absolutely top notch wonderful from start to finish. We ended up with DG, rocks for accents, turf and a beautiful circular driveway with upgraded pavers. They had experts for each aspect of the install. First the demo team for the asphalt, then the dg and turf guys, followed by the pavers. Each step was smooth and flawless. We embarked on an extensive backyard and frontyard remodel and landscape project in 2020-2021. During this process, we replaced all of the old cement on our backyard patio and pool deck with pavers. Also, the brick front walkway to our front door was sinking and cracking. We repaired some broken drain lines in the front yard, then had the old walkway demolished and a new brick walkway set. I just had Pacific Pavingstone revamp my backyard It went from an area that was unusable to a place where we want to spend all of our time. They installed pavers, artificial turf, steppers and gravel. The workers were friendly and took great care in their work. They worked quickly and efficiently! For Pavers, this is the company to go to. I needed a deck installed in my backyard around my pool (1450 SF with 300 SF border - not a small space) including drainage to the street and 537 SF of gravel on the side of my house. They were a bit more expensive than the company that installed my pool, but you pay for what you get. Pacific Pavingstone was super fast (they finished in a week vs a two week estimate from the other company), very professional, organized, and did a beautiful job with my pavers. For landscaping in the front yard, I did choose to go with Flores Landscaping because I loved the ideas of the landscape designer there and they were able to build the fence I needed as well (Pacific doesn't do fences), but I'm happy that I went with Pacific for the back! read more
