Getting major work done on your house is no easy task, especially for someone who is somewhat controlling like me. However, Josh, Kobi, and Jorge from Go Pavers did everything they could to make the process as easy as it could be! Our backyard is now a relaxing oasis rather than the concrete jungle it once was. We needed our unattractive and cracked concrete pool and patio deck removed, drainage installed, a dilapidated retaining wall replaced, and a fire pit spruced up. Josh came ready to give a detailed, written estimate as well as to offer ideas and suggestions. Based on his suggestion, we altered the shape and placement of both our fire pit and our retaining wall. We now have more useable space and a much more inviting backyard! Due to all of the things that we needed to get done, the costs were rising fairly quickly (although their prices were very competitive compared to other estimates we got), but Josh did his best to try to get us what we needed (and what we wanted) without increasing costs too much. He understood that these weren't renovations for which we planned and saved; the pool kept cracking due to the earth movement, the weight of the concrete, and the lack of drainage. We had to get these things done. The job took a bit longer than originally planned (but what home renovation doesn't?), but I'd rather something take a bit longer and be done properly than be quick and poorly done. Josh and Kobi also coordinated plans with our pool builder (Jeff from Pool Port) so that the timing was as smooth as possible. And, as annoying as I'm sure I was with my many, many questions and concerns, I always received a very quick response from Josh, Kobi, or Jorge via email, phone, sometimes even texts. Everyone at Go Pavers seemed to go above and beyond to ensure that our job was done well and that we were happy with the way everything looked. On our first meeting as we walked around he had suggestions and ideas about widening a sidewalk here and adding a curve there, see where the water gathers lets put a drain in, etc. and he was right about it all. He was in constant contact with me via text and phone for the entire project, discussing every tiny detail so I was involved in every decision no matter how small. I was extremely impressed and satisfied with the service that GP provided me. From start to end I felt that GP, and in particular the Project Manager, Oscar, was very attentive to my needs and willing to work with and accommodate my needs. The process started off wirh a lot of back and forth via e-mail, phone calls, and text messages. Oscar was willing to come up with several quotes and work plans based on different scenarios I had come up with (involving only doing our backyard, or only our front yard, or only a small area that fixed a drainage problem, etc.). The work schedule was finally set after several weeks as I needed time to decide what extent of construction to pursue. I decided to re-do all the concrete next to my house with new pavers (front porch, driveway, backyard). I have extensive experience in construction, but not design, so Oscar was great in suggesting specific pavers and patterns that would look visually appealing. I looked to him for most recommendations and the end product looks great, so I'm glad I did! Description Of Work: We had concrete pavers installed in our back yard. We had two paved sitting areas (14X14 feet and 13X12 feet) with large 16 inch stepping pavers connecting the two areas. The pavers were at the same grade as our existing concrete for a seamless transition from concrete patio to concrete pavers. The spaces and gaps in between the stepping stone were filled with ground cover. The pavers have a textured surface which looks slightly unfinished and natural. Go Pavers did all the hardscape. The plants were added after. Comments: Our initial contact with Go Pavers was Kobe Dan. He continued to work with us throughout the job. We showed Kobe some sketches of what we wanted and he shared some pictures of similar jobs he had completed in the past. Kobe was professional and pleasant to deal with. Go Pavers provided a landscape design at our request and we had two slight revisions. The design and revisions took less than two weeks. After we approved the design, installation was very quick. The entire job took 4 days of work. There was a weekend and a rainy day in the middle in which no work was done. Go Pavers established the grade and slope for the seating areas (for water run off) and removed the existing grass. A gravel base was laid followed by sand and then the pavers laid down in a pattern we selected. The edges of each sitting area were cemented with concrete to hold all the pavers in place and not shift over time. The large stepping pavers were also cemented individually. The entire team was considerate and respectful. They cleaned up at the end of each day and were careful not to trample any of our plants or landscape. Even the truck driver who dumped the gravel base on our driveway was careful not to drive over the corner of grass at the end of our driveway. I am very pleased with the quality of work Go Pavers provided and the professionalism exhibited by the entire crew. Kobi was always available by phone and responded to questions quickly. This is the most professional company I have ever worked with. From the initial appointment, Kobe came to my house. He gave a written quote based on sq ft that included everything. There was no pressure or tough selling. He explained the process. When they were ready to start his crew of 6-8 knowledgeable people started work and they were at my home for 9 straight days until completion. They broke the existing concrete with heavy machinery. I had massive trucks come with the special gravel, trucks with fine sand and trucks delivering the pavers. Trucks taking away the debris. They even got their own Andy Gump. They put a special waterproofing material under the initial gravel. Also special pavers grouting. This is such a specialized process. Go Pavers know what they are doing. They measured and graded all the time and even built steps. The GoPavers crew works hard. They are non stop. I'm estimating other companies would take double the amount of time to complete. Good thing as there were issues that cropped up and if I had not been there, there would have been some mis-steps. All in all a pretty good job. We recently had stone pavers installed by Go Pavers and the total experience was greater than I expected. They installed the pavers on 2 walkways and repaired 2 areas that were previously installed by System Pavers. As a side note, I contacted System Pavers prior to contacting Go Pavers. They viewed the areas that shifted and sunk, plus the 2 walkways we wanted covered with pavers. Measurements were taken, and Systems pavers promised to call back in a couple of days with an estimate, but they never did. I contacted other paver companies and the prices were similar. There was an independent with a much higher price and the project would take about 2 weeks to complete. Contacted Go Pavers, Nestor Fierro Project Manager, he was timely and professional. He viewed the areas where System Pavers' pavers shifted and sunk. I explained my upcoming projected. Nestor took measurements, and provided an estimate, with completion in 4 days. He explained there may be a problem with matching because the prior pavers were installed 7 to 8 years ago and they may have water stains and fading. Samples were provided and the colors matched very closely. On the day the project began, Jesus Valdez Jr., ICPI Project Manager, assigned to oversee the job, was there on time. He was also very professional. The pavers were delivered, roped off with caution tape, a portable restroom was also delivered for the employees, and the area was kept clean. All the employees worked diligently, each day they cleaned the areas where they worked, and the project was completed in 3 days. Most projects have unforeseen issues that if not addressed, can really delay the completion. This project had major issues, but Go Pavers, Nestor, and Jesus quickly resolved those problems. I am confident that if any problems arise in the future, Go Pavers will stand behind their product and service. I would recommend Go Pavers, Nestor, Jesus and their team, without hesitation. We asked Go pavers to come out for a quote after our Friend, who is a contractor, highly recommended them. Oscar came out for a free quote and then once again to iron out some details a week later. We have a large backyard and wanted to redo our busted up old concrete driveway and put in a new patio as well as a fire pit. I think its rare to find a company with so many 5 star ratings. I would have doubted them had I not experienced it myself. This company was very professional (and friendly). They came in and did an excellent job, exceeding my expectations. It's as if they thought they were working on their own property; they took no shortcuts, i.e. instead of joining corners with full blocks of uncut pavers they cut them diagonally at a 45 degree angle and then joined them like a picture frame. They used a circle saw to fit a paver around a pole instead of putting square blocks around it and filing the gaps with paver sand/cement. I would hire more companies to do work around the house if I felt I would get this level of quality and service. Oh yeah, my project wasn't a large area where they were making tons of money and attention to detail would be important. This was a small job (about $4,000) but they treated it like it was going to be a showcase job. I can not say enough good things about this company. After much research online, on member forums & with ensuing positive feedback, we decided to give GoPavers a chance to come in to bid on our project. Their company was our 4th bid. The office staff deserves special mention at this point too as they are the first impression of the company and the ladies there have been a delight to talk to each time...Thorough, professional and extremely on task seems to be the mantra of this company personnel. We requested for an appointment with Kobi Dan, whose name and reputation precedes him online! He did not disappoint! Kobi came out on a Sunday to accommodate our time constraint which is unbelievable. He spent time going over the paver/design options, answered all our questions and came in right around the same ball park cost/numbers wise or thereabouts as the others did. He also did a detailed breakdown for each aspect of the build out which worked great in us budgeting where we wanted the cost to go to and what options we could go without. While submitting detailed plans to our HOA, we had many small back & forths with Kobi via text and email and each of these communications were promptly responded too. We were scheduled about 10 days out and were to meet with Kobi once more before the actual day of work was to begin. Kobi came out on this day with Nestor, the company Field Supervisor. Both gentlemen went over the HOA approvals in detail, made notes, went over all the salient points of the project and reassured me -once again that the project will begin and finish in a set time frame. The day of, Nestor and his team showed up on the designated time which was very important for me as I had taken time off to begin this process that day. The work was immediate, very neat, clean and orderly. The entire team was courteous and respectful of the space outside the home, the neighbors and the noise levels. The back and side yard looked fresh & phenomenal when done and finished with a sealer. Nestor was in constant communication with me each step of this process, there when I checked in on the work progress and right there to address any on going concern. He and Kobi were in touch with each other right through so it is great example of the Right hand knowing what the Left Hand was doing each time! A very special thank you to you, Kobi & Nestor!! Go Pavers just completed a driveway, walkway and installed steps on our property. We had these guys do our driveway and front patio, about 1000 square feet in all. The salesman was very patient and helpful, available to answer questions, stopped by during the actual work, followed up after. They had to level the area quite a bit after removing the concrete, rebuild our front steps. They worked quickly, a few days to transform the whole look of our house. My only complaint was that my strawberry plants which replaced my lawn which had already been struggling were trampled and they left some of their stuff behind for several extra days. Overall, we get lots of compliments and are very pleased. Still looks great a year later. read more

We were extremely pleased with the work that Go Pavers did on our front yard. Kobi, who oversaw the entire project was fantastic to work with. My wife and I were pretty certain of the direction we wanted to go with. We desired a certain color scheme and although Kobi did make his own suggestions, he understood in the end that we were sticking with our vision (which was a little unconventional) and helped to see it through. The work turned out to be beautiful and we are very happy with the result. Kobi is very personable and has a great sense of humor as well - qualities that are needed during stressful renovations.
