There's no question, Sean Huynh is the main reason we decided to purchase our appliances at Pac Sales vs. any other place. Believe me, we went to a number of places, but ended up back at Pac Sales. My experience has been strictly with the builder department at (714)-984-2720, which exclusively services contractors. It's fantastic to work with an appliance dealer that understands the unique needs of contractors, e.g. ADA requirements, cut sheets & submittal approvals, dealing with specs, RFQ's, etc. Bruce who runs the builder department is very knowledgable on appliances & can offer suggestions when you don't have any appliance specs supplied. Prices are very competitive. They can usually order any appliance within 10 working days. Delivery is free in the local area. They have been very helpful in obtaining warranty service when there's a defective unit. Unless you're buying appliances in volume where they will set up a credit account, it's strictly COD or payment upfront before delivery. I've never dealt with the retail side of Pacific Sales or been to their showroom. read more

Horrible customer service! In 2002 we remodeled our kitchen and purchased our appliances at PS in Brea ($8K). Recently we needed to replace the microwave / convection oven we purchased. On Nov 12th we purchased a GE Advantium microwave. Jason our sales rep explained it could take up to two weeks to receive the unit. We were fine with that. After the two weeks passed, and with no word from PS we called for a status. Jason explained the item was supposed to have delivered on 11/27/13 but it didn't. He explained that perhaps the Thanksgiving holiday affected the delivery. We waited another week and again we called as we received no update from PS. Again we reached Jason. He now indicated the system showed the item should deliver tomorrow (12/5/13). I asked for him to send me some tracking information so I could in fact be assured the item was in transit. He stated he didn't have any tracking information. When I pressed a little further, he said that he couldn't in fact say that the item had even shipped from GE. Our credit card was processed the day of the sale Nov 12th. As far as I can tell GE still has the asset and PS has my money. From a commerce standpoint - Illegal. Jason was completely indifferent and didn't seem too concerned with the situation. Terrible customer service. We're now considering cancelling the order. If you need appliances (or for that matter anything else PS sells) look elsewhere. You have been warned. I'll update this review at the conclusion of this transaction. read more

I found a range on Pacific Sales website. called them up and paid for it in full. After a month and no range delivered they are refunding me my money. This place is a joke. The service absolutely sucks. Nobody ever called me back. Was hung up on multiple times. I will never purchase anything from this store. If you want to purchase something from Pacific Sales, then this review would be higher, more like a 4 star review. Their products are pretty good and we haven't had troubles with them. However, I was on the flip side, returning the products that we didn't need any more. I needed to return 7 things, which I knew would take some time but not the time it actually took. I went to the info desk, where they wrote down the product information for the returns. I then went back to the front desk, where the actual process of returning the items happened. It took them more than 20 minutes to do whatever it is they had to do to find the 7 objects on 2 receipts, check to see if the thing would come back to me by credit card or by check, and then finally tell me that it's all done. Reciting the prices in my head, when I got the first number total back, it was less than what I thought it was. It had already taken 45 minutes total, but I realized that if I were to get everything done, I would just pick my poison in one go. So I went back, and after getting a second person to help, I finally received a number closer to what I was expecting to get back. It takes time, but their customer service does go to help you. I just wonder what it takes that much time. read more

Definitely one the worst stores due to their customer service. I simply ordered new shower handles from them and the sales rep said it usually takes around 1-2 weeks for delivery. It has now been a month and they still do not know why the item has not even been shipped! I have called multiple times each week and every time they keep promising to call me back with a status update. Not once have I ever received a call back. On several occasions my calls were never picked up by the store so I was redirected to their national customer service call center. One rep told me that she tried calling the Brea store 7 times and still could not get anyone from the store to even pick up the phone. If you decide to buy from Pacific Sales, do NOT purchase from this store location. Unless you want poor service and to not receive your product. read more

My wife and I decided to take the dive to invest in these quality products and the display was appealing to the eye. I needed a new washing machine found the best price at Pacific Sales, Pete the salesman arranged my delivery around my schedule. Delivery crew was awesome removing old washer and cleaning up where old washer was completely. Pete also told me if I found the washer on sale they would price match. This is our 5th purchase at this store. First time now owned by Best Buy. We go back about 15+ years with this location. We just bought all new appliances for the kitchen compliments of a slab leak and demolition of our entire downstairs. We have been living in drywall dust, intermittent water and concrete and studs in the downstairs of our house. Delivery was to be today and only the hood was delivered. No stovetop, no refrigerator, no oven, no dishwasher. My contractors expecting to finish cutting the counter tops and install the stove top and other appliances. (I was not going to make coffee in my garage for another week!) When I called to ask why they said "Sorry, our mistake and it will be there next Monday". I made it very clear to them that this was not an option and I needed a manager or whatever "body" was in charge to talk to. They told me no one in charge was at the store. Interesting. Now I was talking to a young man named James Caley who was very apologetic and I said "James, this is not your fault, but you get the heat. You need to give me a name and number of someone who can fix this or I am coming to the store and you will need the police to remove me". I made it very clear I was pissed off at a stroke inducing level. James said he would make a call to his transportation manager at the warehouse and see what he could to. Long story short, they are delivering what I need tomorrow and my contractors and wife (most importantly!) can keep on schedule. One day delay no big deal, 6 days would have been epic fail! James Caley, thank you. You dealt with a very intense and angry person today and took care of business! I hope your bosses take notice. Other people in your organization tried to blow me off and just accept the missed delivery commitment. Seriously, fix your shipping issues Best Buy. I purchased a Dishwasher, Whirlpool wasn't top of the line but it wasn't the cheap one either. So ad it delivered & my husband has hooked it up and low & behold it's not a plug-in model. I guess it has to be hardwired which is something the salesperson never said to me. It would be nice to say you do need an electrician to hook this particular dishwasher up!!!!! When he asked if I wanted installation, I said my husband can hook up... maybe then he should have mentioned this is a hard wire not "plug in" model. Oh yeah he said if the model goes on sale which they usually do Labor Day weekend I can get the sale price versus what I paid. Much to my surprise I'm looking at the receipt there's no model number anywhere!! How do you compare the price if you don't have a model I'm sure there's more than one. Very disappointed on so many levels with this store. read more

Not sure when this place went downhill. I purchased a fridge, washer&dryer a few years ago and the service/ prices were good. Today I tried to walk in and they have a door Nazi at the front door with the ropes restricting you from walking in like it's a cheesy nightclub. I told the lady I wanted to buy something and she says, "Oh nice, do you want to speak to someone or just walk around because our salesmen are slammed because we have about 10 customers here right now. " Sure enough as I was walking around, there was MAYBE about 5 customers other than myself. Nobody came to greet me or let alone help me. Absolutely lousy customer service. Pete was the sales person and after the transaction he was least responsive. Delays in getting items and still waiting. I felt discriminated by Sarah at customer service who argued with me that I have 15 days to return an item AFTER PURCHASE date NOT DELIVERY date of the item. I told Sarah how would this policy work, if a wall oven was purchased on August 7th and delivery is twice being delayed to end September. Would this mean that return date of 15 days would end by August 21st and delivery would be September 27th. In essence even before delivery of an item, my opportunity to return is expired. She kept on arguing and said that is the policy. She was wrong. I told her the Bestbuy online policy states returns are 15 days after delivery. When I told her I will have my attorney challenge what Sarah was stating, she said she won't speak nor connect me to the store manager and she hung up on me. I called back and she answered the phone and again while I was asking for the manager hung up on me. I called back a 3rd time and Danny answered and connected me to the store manager Edward. Edward promised to call back after deep diving the situation and he had vanished too. Totally irresponsible store with irresponsible attitude. read more

Horrible customer service. We went in looking for a new oven and wandered around the store looking for help. When someone finally approached us we asked for the price of one of the ovens. The sales representative sat over by the computer for a long time while everyone else was just sitting and talking. We finally decided to leave and he called out that the oven was "on clearance". How long does it take to look up a price? Is it magically taken out of the system if it's on clearance? Shouldn't all the inventory be priced in the database? Well that's OK we didn't stay to find out. We went to Home Depot where they were more than willing to help us find a new oven. read more

This is no doubt the worst experience with a local retailer we have ever had. Zero customer service. Zero return calls. Zero product delivery. Bought a high end cook top with a 2 week delivery date. Two plus weeks later we called them and were told it had been delayed but was available and would be delivered later that week. We were given a 4 hour delivery window...No cook top arrived. When we called they were surprised the delivery had even been scheduled as they stated they did not have the unit. Another two weeks goes by and we get another call saying it would be there and we were given a 4 hour window. Crickets. No call, No delivery. We called them and got another run around and another delivery date. Another 4 hour window and another No call, No delivery. No return calls from staff even. When we finally asked for a refund, 2 months later, all we got was rude from the staff. The Manager, Levi, is an unkempt person who promised us a refund and a week later said he doesn't remember even talking to us. He is a real piece of work. It is surprising that this outfit is a part of Best Buy and still has their doors open. My advice...AVOID THE BREA STORE LIKE IT HAS THE PLAGUE. read more

He thoroughly explained all the features and specifications on all the products we considered purchasing. In the coarse of shopping around we kept returning to Pacific Sales and Sean for more information. Never once did he try to hard sell us. After 5 to 6 visits over the coarse of a month we had all the information we needed to know what we wanted to purchase.
