I guess this pharmacy has gotten much much better in the last several years because in the couple of times I have been here the service was excellent and I have seen many positive comments. The techs and the pharmacist (for me it was Nathan Parker Pharm. D.) are very nice to their patients/customers and go over with you real well how to take your meds and their side effects. They really care about their patients here and do above and beyond to satisfy their patients' needs. What I like about this pharmacy as well, is that they have meds and supplements that they don't ordinarily have in regular pharmacies. They have supplements for stress management which I really need that they do not have in my regular pharmacy. It's also more one on one with your pharmacist or tech here since there isn't very many customers unlike a regular pharmacy like Rite Aid or CVS. I give this place an A+++ read more

For years Jeff Barris at Pacifica Pharmacy has filled my prescription. It is a specialized compound that no pharmacy in my area could fill. I have used this pharmacy myself for compounded thyroid meds and have referred my own patients for many years. Jeff the pharmacist is very knowledgeable and most of the staff have done a good job. They have a good selection of supplements and are great with compounded hormones and special medications. I have also worked at an "integrated pharmacy" and I noticed that it is hard to find and retain really good staff for some reason. I have problems at Rite Aid, CVS and most other pharmacies. Pacifica has been great so far and they even mailed me my meds each month when I was out of the area for 6 months this year. read more

This was a refill called in from my vet. They first called to confirm that the price was ok with me. Even though they charged more then my vet, I didn't really care and was fine with it. What was annoying was getting them to fill it in a timely manner. These were pain meds I needed for my cat who had suffered a severe eye trauma and was in pain. I did not want to wait to get the meds, but ended up waiting 24 hours and even thought they said they would call when the meds were ready, they never did. read more

I was sent to Pacifica Pharmacy by a local veterinarian as my dog needed a special medication. I found the pharmacist and staff extremely friendly and professional. They were very helpful and even waited till I got there to ask me what flavor my pet would prefer for the medication to make it less bitter (beef). It just took a moment but that's the type of personalized service you will get. I have gone back twice for refills and they always are nice and ask about my pet. I've been going to Pacifica Pharmacy for several years, put up with a constantly changing and generally unfriendly staff. The pharmacist is beleaguered and only recently I learned of his problems with the FDA (see the Internet for warming letters to Pacifica Pharmacy. I've had a kn awing feeling about them for sometime and disliked having to call in prescription. So many times there were mistakes that I had to involve the pharmacist himself, hoping that would resolve things...it did for a bit, then it would return to the poor service. I was busy, didn't know another place to go and just kept putting up with the poor service. Finally, I am motivated to stop putting up with this compounding pharmacy and find another! I'm just wondering why I waited so long. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

On Tuesday April 14 2015 I went for the first time to Pacifica pharmacy to pick up prednisolone for my kitty! Due to I am not working at this time and my cats needs are a large priority to me. I called a week or so prior to get a price quote for one month 49.36 for 2 months 69.95. And lasts 80 days So I order the 2 month supply. When I get there it's 95.00 I ask to speak to the owner not here you have to come back tomorrow I explain I took the bus and can't get back. I stated can you call him while they were calling another woman says to the woman whom is going to call him" don't worry I'm sure she doesn't have another prescription" I replied oh I do at the last pharmacy. This was just the rudest thing that has ever been stated right in front of me. The woman gets off the phone and states no one gave you a quote for two months for anything less than 79.00 with that I left furious yes did I loose my cool not at all I knew I had 5 refills at other. I looked all over for the quote remembered I wrote it on the paper from the vet so I called and asked to speak to Jeff the owner he screamed and yelled at me I never got one word in edge wise. Whom ever gave me this quote knows who they are and the woman whom spoke so rudely to me knows also. How ever the story they gave him was all about what I did and how I acted He wasn't there so........ WHAT KIND OF HUMAN BEING DOES NOT AT THE VERY LEAST HEAR THE OTHER SIDE! I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. The owner needs to go back to school on edict on how to treat people. I will be contacting better business bureau and consumer affairs. I will call in a formal complaint about the owner with the pharmacy board. As we all know the truth will come out one way or another. Nice to know Debra T has stated about your rude and now lying women whom work in your pharmacy. No one ever needs to go to this establishment for anything!! read more

First visit, technician didnt want to input our insurance info, we were in a hurry so just paid. Sent in the refill request a week ago, said theyd call when ready. Had not receive a callback as promised. Called to find out status, said they had medicine ready and that they are open until 6.
