Two ladies and I went to Pacino's for the first time, and we were all very impressed! I had one of my top meals ever, pasta primavera with grouper (which was also available with chicken and scallops instead). My friends had chicken Marsala and pork osso bucco and loved their meals as well. We met the new owner and her son the chef who were both so friendly and we loved our server! Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but the food in here is fabulous!! We started with the Sicilion Peasant Bread which was so delicious (we also didn't know they'd give our table a bread basket as well). I've never had fried pizza dough, but it was light and tasty and had a great marinara sauce. I then had the linguine with white clam sauce and this was one of the best things I had all week. A great balance between seafood, pasta and lemony taste. It was light but very filling. The others I was with got the spaghetti and meatballs (they said it was super tasty - especially the meatballs) and they got a grouper piccata (I believe). We were also super pleased with our meals. My brother and I were down for some golf and got a severe Italian jones. we noticed this place on our way home from the course. We decided to try it. We were definitely pleased with our choice. Upon entry we were greeted at the door by a very nice waitress. We were shown to our seats and chose chicken parm and fettucine alfredo. The food and the wine we chose were excellent as was the atmosphere. It was a small little place but the experience was superb. Very nice people and tremendous food. Will make a special trip back to MB so my wife can experience it as well. (Italian is her fave) Special kudos to the mother, chef and wait staff that were exceptionally nice and congenial. We have always loved Pacino's so it hurts me to write this review. We will never go back. Food is excellent. Service is spot on. However....my husband asked for garlic and oil on his pasta side with the veal, rather than red sauce on everything. No big thing. Food came and there was the pasta with red sauce. Again no big deal, we're not picky. When he mentioned it to our server (who was fantastic btw), the manager/owner proceeded to berate her in front of us. So cringy and unnecessary. After we paid and gave our server a great tip bc she deserved it, I asked to speak with the manager to explain our situation. We love the food, ambience and service, but the way you treated your employee was unacceptable. Did she apologize? NOPE!! She said "she needs to learn". After holding my breath and allowing her to let her explain why she would make what should have been a private training moment a miserable and very upsetting experience for us which she then escalated and made worse, we left and I told her (respectfully) we would not be back, she said that was fine. Take this as a training opportunity, Kim. Your employees and customers deserve better. read more

My husband and I I had dinner here last night and were very pleased with everything! We have lived in the area for a year and this was our first time trying Pacino's. The service, food and atmosphere were all great. I had the seafood primavera and my husband had shrimp scampi - both were excellent. We also had calamari for an appetizer and it was delicious. Every employee was super friendly and attentive. Kim, the owner, introduced herself and checked in a couple of times to make sure we were happy with everything. Went to what used to be one of our favorite restaurant's for their early bird dinners, only to find out when I asked the waitress for the early bird menu that a new owner is now running the restaurant and they have only a few choices for what they call happy hour , so I chose the Eggplant rollatini which is usually close to what I order is eggplant parmigiana or lasagna when I go to an Italian restaurant. Since it was one the three choices she offered for 15.00 each . She said it only came with a salad and no side of spaghetti like most restaurants serve with their eggplant and no cannoli for desert like was always served with the early bird. But I could buy one for 7.00 for desert. So I asked for water with two lemons . I got a glass of Luke warm water with no ice in it and awhile later a few tiny pieces of lemon was brought out . The salad came out and a few minutes later the eggplant before I had even taken a few bites of the salad . A tiny few pieces of Italian bread was brought out with no butter which I had to ask for and some ice for my water the eggplant dish was mostly bread crumbs cheese and sauce with very little egg plant . And while we were eating someone in the kitchen kept pounding and pounding on something. Ate half of my food and got a to go box to bring it home and make a side of spaghetti to go with it. Needless to say won't be going back to Pacinos again . I had noticed there were very few cars there in recent months and now I know why. I did look over the regular menu which the waitress gave me at first with no mention of the few happy hour choices and thought most things on menu were over priced. read more

So disappointed with all the great reviews. Atmosphere just ok. Slow service and cooking. Came on a Friday night for a college graduation. Party of 13. Started off they are out of veal and clams and something else can't remember ...really. Inconsistent portion sizes one person starving (not enough chicken Marsala and pasta and chicken parm and pasta huge portion). Seafood primavera you don't get all three seafood...scallops shrimp and grouper you have to choose one then why call it seafood primavera. Also primavera is a red sauce...not here it's lemon, along with francese and piccata on the menu so why another lemon sauce dish. Description also says served francese style which is egg battered. My shrimp was not deveined and basically just looked and tasted like it was boiled and thrown on top of the primavera..was not frsncese style. Scallop dish over pasta was flavorless. Chicken Saltimbucca good..everyone enjoyed. Fried calamari mushy and too much breading. Soda on tap not good..something wrong with carbonation. Would not recommend or go back. read more

5 stars just isn't enough to describe the appetizers, entrees, desserts and wine at Pacino's. My family dined there on November 22, 2023 and I cannot wait to go back. I think there is enough amazing meals on the menu that I could have something new ever time I go. Let me start with the service, from start to finish we had the best staff, Annie very attentive and amazingly wonderful, she is my kind of people. We were greeted kindly by the owners Chef Rocco and Kim and they treated us like family throughout the entire night. I absolutely loved ambiance of the restaurant as well. The Bread and the House Oil Warm and delicious. Our Appetizer The fresh crisp but not overdone breaded calamari, "just a note on that," everywhere I have ever been the calamari has been fried for too long, and just really chewy and after the first bite, I don't want it anymore, but not here. It was light and crisp and served with an amazing marinara for dipping. Our Meal My husband had the special, a non-traditional Pork Ossobuco with an amazing bacon pepper glaze, served with fresh asparagus, our daughter had a wonderful homemade alfredo fettucine with fresh local shrimp that was to die for and last but not least, I had the Veal Parmesan, from first bite to last bite, I savored every bit of it, it was the best Veal Parmesan, I had ever had and it is definitely one of my go to dishes. Our Dessert And just when you think you cannot eat anymore, the wonderful server tells you everything they have on the dessert menu, my husband had the Cannoli, which he would not share, he is so selfish sometimes ;-), but I know that it was obviously too good to share, my daughter had the caramel NY style cheesecake and she gave me a bite of it, even though I normally do not like baked cheesecake, it was pretty amazing and again I say, last but not least, I had the Pumpkin Bundt Cake with Carmel drizzle, warmed with a sweet creamy glaze in the middle of the Bundt, it was so good and all the flavors just came together and made my mouth water with every bite. Our Wine Don't forget the wine... you have to try, both the reds and white wines... my husband had the red and I had the white and it went perfectly with both of our meals. Overall I am so happy that we live so close so that we can frequent Pacino's more often. If you are reading this, make a reservation to ensure you can get a table, you will not be disappointed. Found this place on the internet by chance, made a reservation for our 42nd Anniversary dinner. Pay close attention to the directions as it's easy to pass by. Upon entering we were amazed how small the dining room actually is. Once we were seated on time and looked around it actually became charming, almost has the feeling of a European vacation. Servers are busy as is the owner checking on everyone. We dined on Veal Sorrento w/ pasta fagioli soup, and for myself the salad and Linguini with white clam sauce. The warm bread with dipping oil was some of the best I've eaten. Dinner was topped off with Creme Brûlée and Limoncello Cake. This is honestly one of the best meals I've eaten in Myrtle Beach EVER. This is such a great authentic Italian restaurant! The seafood pescatore was cooked to perfection! The warm bread was delicious. The owner was not intrusive but very friendly, walking around and asking if everything met to our satisfaction. It seemed like there were a lot of locals coming in for the early bird specials, and they were greeted warmly. The staff was super friendly and very excited to talk to us as new guests. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall, which we have found to sometimes be the best places, but don't be deterred by that! Excellent food and service. This is one of my favorite places in Murrells Inlet. The owner pays such attention to detail; she takes good care of her customers and the food is amazing. As soon as I call and place and order for two servings of Baba ghanoush, she knows exactly who I am! My 94-year-old mother loves the Baba ghanoush at Pacino's, as well as everything else on the menu! We were from out of town but not new to the area and looking for something a bit different. After searching Yelp for some ideas, we found Pacino's with a high rating, good comments and an enticing menu so, we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed! It was a Friday in September '20 and arrived without even thinking we needed reservations. Well, reservations would have been preferred but we were accommodated after a brief wait and some tweaking by staff and the owner. While operating at 50% capacity due to this Covid BS, they were "packed" and now we know why. The place is quaint with a warm inviting ambiance, staff is friendly and efficient, the owner is involved and personable while the food we ordered was excellent. The menu has a nice mix of offerings which made it a bit difficult to choose from as everything looked worthy of placing an order for. With some recommendations from staff, we decided on our meals with a Italian theme and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, serving sizes satisfied our hungry appetites, courses were spaced and timed well with our orders chilled and/or warmed perfectly. Pacino's is a place we are glad to have found and will definitely revisit next time in town. It's a somewhat hidden gem where the strong reviews stand up to the experience we enjoyed and realized. Do not order the eggplant parm here. The whole thing is breading, sauce and cheese. I couldn't find 1 piece of eggplant in the whole thing. Not exaggerating. The lady who prepared the dish told me she cuts the eggplant very thin and thats how its done there. I could even hear another cook in the kitchen asking "where is the eggplant, did it disintegrate?" when the dish was brought back to the kitchen. My wife ordered the chicken parm, she didn't like it. I tried it, chicken was really mushy and dry. The red sauce that was on the parm's was really acidic and tasted like someone dumped a jar of oregano in it. I know the meals may look appetizing from the picture, but its got sauce and cheese all over it, who would turn that down right? The eggplant and chicken are supposed to be the star of the dish, including the sauce. They were the worst part. I really believe restaurants food standards have gone out the window. And with the price going up and up, this quality of food is not worth it. And with a 4.5 star rating I expect the food to be pretty good. read more
