This pizza was f***** amazing! Instead of a traditional dough crust, it had a crispy cheese crust. This was totally unexpected and so good. I didn't need to add a single thing to it. The sauce was perfect, the cheese was perfectly balanced, and the toppings were delicious. It was cooked to perfection. Honestly, I don't remember ever loving a pizza this much except for Prince St. Pizza in New York City, this might be the second-best pizza I've had in my life (Prince Street still holds the top spot). I stopped by for about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning, and there were maybe 10 customers, so it wasn't too busy, but busy considering the time I was here and time of day. That's a fast turnover. I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp, it's definitely on my list to revisit. They had milkshakes... I tried the mango one, and it was also f*** amazing. Best Cuban pizza in Miami! Hakuna Matata is a hole in the wall in Hialeah. From the outside, you would not expect such great pizza. It truly is a hidden gem. The pizzas are personal size and they are filling. There's many topping options, but my favorite is onion. The crunch of the onion with the smoothness of the cheese is the perfect combo. It's also very affordable, with a pizza being around $6 per person. There is not much room to sit and dine in. I believe there's only two tables inside the restaurant. So I recommend doing take out or finding a spot nearby to eat. I have also heard wonderful things about their shakes. I unfortunately have not gotten the chance to try it but I will soon. This pizza is so good. It reminds me of ballpark pizza almost. If you do not like little to no sauce on your pizza then this is the one for you. Definitely a great dinner option or simply for a pizza party. Service is fast and the people are friendly. I will say, it's just an order window and maybe some chairs on the outside. Family owned restaurant. Excellent service, and food is delicious. Their cheese pizza brings the best memories from my childhood because it tastes just like the pizza that I used to eat in Cuba when I was a child. The place is not that big but the owners will make some space and bring some extra chairs just to make sure that you enjoy your meal. Okay so, I came across this place on Uber Eats and thought the name was hilarious, it definitely sticks! I figured I'd try it since the name was so genius. They did not disappoint. We have now ordered twice from this place and both times the servings were generous (we are a big family of hefty people and growing children) and the food was fresh! The pizzas taste great.
