I love shopping at PacSun however this branch particularly is not my favorite shop to go to. I've been here a couple of times and one of the ladies here is not helpful at all. I went last week to return a pants I ordered online. It was on sale however I ordered the wrong size. I went to do an exchange however the pants I got online is not available in store and got different pants instead. When I got home I checked if I can still order the first pants I liked online and I saw that the pants I got was on sale too! She did not even offer to price match my purchase since I initially ordered it online anyways! So I re-ordered the jeans online and returned the jeans in a different store and they did the price match for me. I guess she's just lazy to do all those stuff. But yeah, never going back here again. The part time manager on duty today should not be in this field. Spoke to me in the most demeaning rude way. Refused to give me her name when I asked. She said she didn't have to give it to me and to Google the customer service number. I made an online purchase and was simply trying to return it, nothing shady. It was after pay, she stated those returns were against policy, nowhere on the receipt does it say this. Refused to help or a command me. Irvine spectrum took care of this for me with no issue. This was genuinely the WORST customer service I ever dealt with. What should have taken no time at all took me hours to do. Insane. My daughter bought a pair of jeans and the button fell off the very next day. We returned to the store and the salesperson said there was no replacement in the store and advised us to attempt to buy online and then return the jeans at a later date if successful. Unfortunately, the salesperson kept her original receipt. We called the store about 30 minutes later and the same salesperson told us that the receipt was not needed as he looked up her account online and could see the purchase. My daughter then returned to the store 5 days later and the store manager, Sandra, stated that their policy has changed and she is unable to return the jeans even though they were defective and the order is clearly visible in their computer system. I highly doubt their policy has changed in the past 5 days. What horrible customer service! I will be reporting this to the BBB as well. read more

After a bit of research I've come to learn that Sandra G is the store manager here. I have NEVER had a good experience with her. She has always had passive aggressive attitudes when working with me as a paying customer. She has disregarded my presence when I was being rung up as she kept talking to the other employees, even shouting out to those across the store while I am in front of her needing her to do her job to purchase my items. I tried to return a shirt today and she told me I was only eligible for store credit because I had damaged the shirt because it had a stain on it (a shirt that I had never even tried on, it was bought black friday where numerous people probably touched it). She proceeded to rub a little dot of dirt off the shirt ("stain" = gone) and refused to give me a proper return back to my original payment method because "I damaged it." I asked if there is an instance in when the return would go back to the original payment and she told me in instances where the product isn't damaged, and I repeated to her that I had never even worn the shirt and that the "stain" is gone. She refused to process the return to my original payment so I ended up accepting the store credit just to leave her presence. Truly awful energy and absolutely no regard for paying customers from Sandra. I do not look forward to seeing her when I enter this Pacsun (one of my favorite stores) and I hope action is taken to stop this behavior from her (that is clearly overlooked because of her position). read more

BUYER BEWARE! Don't buy from PacSun. Bought items in the Mission Viejo store today and the manager had issues with the computer. Transaction was completed on my end and funds were removed from my account. Would not let us leave with the items and said I would get my money back in five days but gave me nothing to show the transaction was canceled. On top of that the store manager Sandra Calvin (who knows if this is her real name) was extremely rude with poor customer service. This is fraud. PacSun took my money, wouldn't let me take the items shown as purchased on my bank account and told me to wait five days to resolve the issue. Unacceptable! read more

The customer service is terrible! I walked into PacSun today so my daughter could look for some shorts. When one of the employees noticed that my daughter wanted to try on some shorts she immediately told us that the fitting rooms were closed. I was surprised and she said that the mall closed early on Sunday. I was surprised because I didn't think we had been at the mall long and I looked at phone and noticed that the time was 5:10 pm. So I said to the salesperson that it was only 5:10 pm and she responded that the mall closed at 6:00 pm. I explained to her that I understood what time the store closed but that the fitting rooms should be opened and she responded that they needed to clean the store before closing so therefore the fitting rooms were closed. This I also noticed a note on the register stating that the register was out of order. I asked to speak to a manager because this lady was argumentative over opening the fitting room which I knew she could not refuse us to use. Then she smugly replied, "I'm the manager". I asked what her name was and she said it was Sandra. However she wasn't wearing a name tag so I don't know if that was her name or not. She then told me she would have opened the fitting room but I was rude. A young man working stepped in because he could tell that I was upset and he offered to open the fitting room. A district manager needs to step in and train these employees properly. They should not be closing the store until the store closes. There were plenty of people in and out of the store at this time and obviously the employees just wanted to leave early. read more

Beware!! STAY AWAY FROM SAM - Pacsun at Mission Viejo Mall. She will ruin your day! Very rude! She probably thought I was a teenager since I look young for my age. I'm asian and I am sure she's discriminating me! I asked her nicely if I can bug her a bit and she responded quickly with "YA! WHAT DO YOU NEED? *wth a very mean tone*. I was with my daughter and I just asked her nicely if she can help me out put down something from the shelf since the jeans that my daughter needs was folded on top of the shelf which was very impossble to reach without a stool or ladder. So she grabbed a stool and she THREW it on the floor in front of me. "(Yes, she threw it, CHECK YOUR CAMERAS!!!) I immediately asked her if she was mad, I was just asking her if she can get the jeans for me, that's all! WHAT IF THAT STOOL BOUNCED BACK TO MY DAUGHTER STANDING NEXT TO ME? I love pacsun but this location's service is genuinely horrible. The employees act like you aren't there, and a girl I see there often (I believe she's the manager) is always unnecessarily rude. I often have to wait a long time for a fitting room, and workers will walk past without saying a thing. I try to avoid coming here when I can. I've rarely met employees I like here. read more

I walked into the pacsun at mission at 7:40 pm 02/03. Originally, the store was blocked off as if they were closed with their gate half way down. they told me that they were not closed and that I could come inside to shop. my friend and I pick our clothing items and are asking for assistance to use the dressing rooms. The worker named sandra told me in a condescending tone that no shopping bags were allowed in the dressing room and only five items were allowed. I have never been told no shopping bags are allowed inside of a pacsun dressing room before and after putting my shopping bags down on the dressing room counter outside the stall and my " two extra shirts" as Sandra told me to. Then after trying on a few items, I go outside to see my shopping bags have been moved and my two shirts have been put back by the worker victoria. she claimed she only put one away while i had picked out two different tops. she also moved my shopping bags without my permission and didn't offer to help me find the shirt SHE misplaced. the worker victoria also told me that we're closing in 10 minutes, by the time i left with my items, the store was still open for 15 more minutes according to the only nice worker samantha at the register. read more

Terrible customer service and horrible policies. I've encountered issues here before with the sales associates being lazy, entitled, and disrespectful, but today takes the cake. I had purchased a 50 dollar gift card from this store a week and a half ago and came in to use it today. My daughter picked 2 pairs of jeans out and we waited in a long line to check out. After ringing us up we presented the gift card, and the associate (name was Julia unless she was lying) told us it had "insufficient funds". I explained that wasn't possible as we had just purchased it and my daughter had just then scratched the number off. I spent several minutes debating with the girl and offering various ways to prove it was valid, but she wasn't interested at all in being helpful. The issue of the funds became less important than her attitude- she smiled and smirked and laughed at me and was completely disrespectful and thought it was funny to claim we were just out of luck and their was nothing she could do. Her rudeness and nonchalance is what angered me- I've never seen a more entitled teen caring less about customer service. NO work ethic whatsoever. I asked her to call a manager and she brought another girl over. This girl (named Sandra) tried to run it again and also told me sorry you're out of luck. I was livid by now because they were treating us as if we were thieves that stole a gift card, with a huge line of people behind us. Not ONCE did either of them offer any sort of attempt at a solution. Finally after me explaining that "nothing they could do" was unacceptable since the store took my money and basically was stealing it, the 2nd girl says I can call corporate. I asked if they could trace the activity on the gift card, and she said they couldn't. Eventually she tells me that corporate can do that (why wouldn't she have offered that in the first place?) and basically told me to leave and deal with it on my own. So then I asked why she couldn't do that for me- after all I was the customer and she was the employee! If it were me working there (with actual values and a work ethic) I would have been on the phone trying to help the customer figure it out! Neither Julia or Sandra had any interest at all in being helpful or actually doing a job they were hired for. And Julia was still smirking like she was getting so much joy out of telling me that I'm just out. At this point I gave up trying to teach these girls about how to do their jobs and I told Julia she had a crappy attitude and left the store. I stood outside the store and called corporate and explained what happened, gave them the GC number and the customer service rep tells me there is a 50 dollar balance on it and it shouldn't be a problem. He says to go back in and have them run it manually and it would work bc he pulled it right up and the funds are on there. So I go back in and ask them to do that and both girls refused to even try. I spent several more minutes trying to tell them to at least try and asking them to at least talk to the representative on the phone since he's telling me it's a valid gift card. They wouldn't even talk to him. They told me "maybe it would only work online" which makes no sense since i bought it in that store and also the phone rep was telling me it would work if they just did it right. I gave up again and took pictures of the style numbers so I can order online instead. Then I asked Sandra (who had been represented to me as the manager) who HER manager was and she said NO manager was there currently and admitted she was NOT a manager. So then I asked for the managers name and number and she said that they were "all assistant managers". So then I asked "Who is your boss" and she actually said they were "basically all in charge and they don't have a boss". So I was like "WHO SIGNS YOUR PAYCHECK" and she begrudgingly admits they have a district manager but she wasn't there currently. So I asked her for the managers name and she told me "that's private information and she can't give that out" as if I was asking for her personal cell phone number and home address. SMH. I had a hard time not laughing and explained that giving the name of a manager of a publicly traded company is NOT classified information and is public record anyway. Spoiler alert- she didn't care and refused to tell me. Oh well, at least I got to school them in business and customer service 101 and hopefully they will be sent for training after I file a complaint against them both for refusing my legal valid tender in exchange for merchandise. I was in line to try on some jeans for the fitting room. I had walked back up to the front because no one noticed or tried to help. While I walked up to the front, two other girls walked back after me to also wait in line. The person working was like"oh they are all full and those two girls are before you". I went here today with my fiancé and all the female staff were extremely rude! I was going to grab a pair of pants size 24, and the lady stops me and says "we only have 23 in that style we don't have any other sizes in the back." I didn't even ask her and my size was sitting right there. I then heard her telling another employee to act in "panic mode" to avoid people bothering them and asking them questions. They kept saying excuse me in a rude way when they could have clearly just gone around me,, there was enough room! When I went to try pants on they acted extremely flirty with my fiancé which I found rude and very unprofessional. I ended up leaving the pants I wanted because I did not want to be in there anymore. Will definitely not return to this location! Only gave them two stars because I love their clothes and everything in there is super cute! read more

Hi! I was just in there today and there was a girl in there working who lost her control and yelled at some 10yr olds. I understand how they can be but she was still on the clock everyone just kinda looked at her like "wtf" and these little girls were terrified. Then as she was ringing me up she was gossiping to me about it. This was not the only time I've seen her talk to people with an attitude like that. I had two pairs of shorts on hold and I was gone only for less than an hour and by the time I got back the shorts were already returned to its place and only one pair I originally wanted was available. I don't understand how the workers there would think that would be okay to return the items that I had on hold. His excuse was "We could only hold on to items for so long".
