Very good Thai Food. Nice choice of lunch specials and soooo inexpensive! The place is cute inside. Nothing too fancy but clean and good enough for a little Thai Food Restaurant in Escondido! The Pad Se Euw (sp?) was pretty good and so was the Thai Iced Tea. The only thing that needs improvement is the salad dressing. I would ask for Peanut dressing or something like that because the stuff they give you automatically tastes like Mayo. All in all though, Will be back again! read more

I've been coming to this place for awhile and have had no complaints until now. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took the waitress 10 minutes to take our food order and when she finally did she had quite an attitude. I ordered the Pad Wu Sen with salmon. When I got my meal the salmon was inedible. Dry and rubbery. I have had salmon here and while not the best it was better than this time. When I told the waitress, she said I would still have to pay for the salmon even though I wasn't going to eat it. I refused and after awhile she gave in but not without more attitude. By far, this is my favorite Thai restaurant in Escondido (much better than Thai Kitchen)! My favorite dish is Special Garden, but they offer all sorts of delicious curries, noodle dishes, and salads as well. There is a healthier brown rice option, which is delicious! Make sure to order your dish two notches less spicy than you think -- a 6 or 7/10 is pretty darn spicy! It's never too crowded in here (I have no idea why?!??) so the service is fabulous! One of my favorite places to eat :) If you haven't been here, you're missing out! read more

I had a restaurant.com gift certificate to this place. We had to spend atleast 35 and it was just me and my girlfriend. We ended up ordering alot of extra food. The pinapple friend rice was good. Their pad thai was good. And we got their desert as well as some apitizers. I would definately come here again. They were nice and patient with us trying to figure out what we wanted. Went here for dinner last night and had great service! It was nice and quiet as i was the only customer there. The food was authentic which is hard to find in San Diego area. I ordered the Pad Thai and Som Tum. I ordered the Pad Thai spicy and it was on fire! I went through almost a whole pitcher of water but it was worth it as the flavor was delicious. We've tried two other Thai Restaurants within the area and this place had the best tasting Panang Curry and Pad Thai. We can't comment on the dining experience as we ordered our food to go. The Panang Curry was very creamy and had a lot of veggies. The only downfall was it didn't have enough chicken. However, the taste of the dish was on point compared to other restaurants (*ahem...Panya Kitchen). The Pad Thai was great! We are definitely coming back to try more dishes! read more

I am so disappointed in my last visit that I'm actually coming on here to explain why I'm never coming back. My husband and I come here every week and give them business. This ONE time, I ordered my food and I wasn't a fan of what I ordered (just personal preference). They got the male manager to come talk to me. He asked me what was wrong with my meal and I said I just didn't like it and wanted to order something else. He cocked his head back and told me I should know what I want before I order... to which my response was, "how am I supposed to know how something is going to taste if I've never ordered it?!" He proceeds to say that if he took everyone's food back they would be broke. I've never been talked to at a restaurant the way he talked to me, and it's even more annoying considering we come here EVERY WEEK. I hope the years of business we've given them was worth the $3 it took to make the veggie bowl I wanted to take back smh. So if you ever come here, make sure you know EXACTLY what you want even if you've never tried it before. :) Ridiculous. read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's nice inside and honestly this is probably the best Thai food I've ever had. They have friendly, fast service, all the food is cooked to order, the food is outstanding, and the prices are pretty low. Great little spot, and the Spicy Noodles, Yellow Curry, and and Pad Thai are very good! I try to get here often, though it doesn't always work out. I ate here with my mom and girlfriend on a Wednesday late afternoon. The place was empty probably due to the time of day. The food was superb! I have eaten ate Thai restaurants from San Diego to Vegas to Salt Lake to Miami, this restaurant was hands down the best. Im just talking food now...not ambiance folks. My husband and I went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner, and we did not leave disappointed. He got his pad see ew and I got thai style papaya salad and fried tilapia with sweet and sour veggies. I think the pad see ew portion was generous and it had some veggies. At some places if you order pad see ew with chicken or whatever topping, that's all you get, noodles and topping. not at pd thai, so I liked that. I love the papaya salad and the fish. I asked them to put the sauce on the side, so my fish isn't soggy so that's how my dish came out. Next time I'll get the pad thai people rave about, and papaya salad. read more

I've been to this place two times and both were pretty good. The first time I got the pad Thai with pork which was great! I also got a pot of Tom Ka soup with tofu. These were both outstanding! Then the next trip I got the Tom Ka soup again but this time with chicken. It was really good but I liked the tofu better. The Pad See Ew was the best I ever had. Such great flavor! I got Spicy Level of 4, and it was really more like a 7. The crispy egg rolls were fresh and tasty, also among the best I've had. My husband wasn't wild about the Pineapple Fried Rice. He gives it a 3. I agree, it was missing something. Spicy Level of 3 was more like a 0. We will come back, though!
