A must do activity in Clearwater!! I've taken the tour twice, and would definitely do it again. Andrew was an awesome captain and went above and beyond to make our tour extra special. Caladesi Beach is GORGEOUS!!! Kayaking to and from is an easy and peaceful 15 minute experience.

Wow! What an amazing day out! Captain Andy was so personable...took us to two small islands to swim, explore and Paddle Board. He was so helpful and instructive with one of our party (who is blind). My friends and I were planning a bachelorette trip, and decided to book a 4 hr excursion. Best decision we could've made. We saw a pod of dolphins while going to the paddle board destination! We had a great time paddle boarding and just seeing different islands and live sand dollars!! Very safe and relaxing pontoon boat ride. We didn't get sea sick whatsoever. And Captain Andrew/Andy/Andres was a great phenomenal captain. It was 4 girls and we had concerns being alone with a male in our bathing suits but we were very comfortable and he took wonderful photos for us that would've been impossible without him!! He was damn near a professional! The team was very helpful and always got back to me when I called if they didn't pick up the first time!! When I come back, I'll definitely be booking another excursion!!

Wow! Just an awesome day with Paddle Out Adventures! Pontoon boat, then kayaked to a secluded beach, among the mangroves - walked a few feet to the ocean - couldn't have been a better day and couldn't have done it without the crew from Paddle Out Adventures. Parking right out front - so highly recommend and will do this again, for sure!

We happened to walk by their boat at the marina with their ad posted in front. The next day, I talked my reluctant husband into booking a two hour paddleboard tour, and neither of us regretted it! Captain Andrew was so friendly and welcoming, and he truly made our vacation extra special! It was a 4-in-1 adventure... a private boat ride and tour around Clearwater, paddleboarding (complete with instructions since it was our first time out), a swim at a secluded and GORGEOUS beach, and spotting dolphins on our ride back! If you want to escape the crowds at Clearwater, this is the tour to book. So much fun! (And be sure to ask Captain Andrew for lunch and dinner recommendations... he won't steer you wrong!)

My nephew and I went out w/ Captain Andy today and ended up having the boat all to ourselves. Neither of us had been kayaking before and Captain Andy had patience and made it relaxing and fun. He was very personable and easy to talk with as well. Went out to Caladesi Island through mangroves, looking for shells and exploring on the beach. It was a great day out and highly recommended!!

While staying for a few days in Clearwater Beach, I was looking for a calm water kayaking experience. Our concierge recommended Paddle Out, so my friend and I scheduled a three-hour paddle. Justin, the owner, was very friendly and helpful on the phone and I appreciated that they had availability with fairly short notice. It turned out the weather was extremely windy today and I assumed we wouldn't be able to go, but Captain Andrew knew just what the winds were doing (as any good boat captain should!) and took us out of the wind to a calm, protected, secluded and beautiful spot at Caladesi Island State Park. We had the best experience! It was gorgeous. He was so kind and made us feel really comfortable. When I mentioned I hadn't tried paddle boarding, he took us to another spot and gave us a quick lesson and let us try out the boards on his boat. He also gave us a fun boat tour of the area, had a lot of interesting facts, and really made our time on his boat enjoyable. We had a lovely day and I would highly recommend Paddle Out. In fact, I'd schedule with them again in a minute!

BEST BOAT TRIP!! My 5 friends and I were in Clearwater for a bachelorette party and wanted some time on the water. Justin was so accommodating while setting up our trip! In addition to providing a cooler and having an onboard bathroom, he was open to making a customized "boating package" which included riding around on the boat looking at dolphins, paddle boarding to a secluded private beach through mangroves, and checking out some beautiful houses and sites in the area from the water. Hands down, it was the best thing we did in Clearwater that weekend. We could even bring onboard our flamingo float ;). I'll definitely be back! read more

Quick trip to Tampa / Clearwater this past weekend and top moments were Busch Gardens and a little jaunt out in the bay with Justin. My kids loved it. He gave us a VIP level ride and let us devise the plan. A little SUP and swimming mixed in with his knowledge of the area. Even let the teens and 11 year old drive his boat. Great time. You'll get personalized service from Justin and I highly recommend if ever in the Tampa / Clearwater area. read more

Justin is just an awesome guy. He is very very knowledgeable about the area, the ocean, and paddle boarding obviously. He cares about your safety first and I appreciated that greatly. He took us to a secluded area to paddle board so we didn't have to worry about boats or large waves. He took us to a secret little cove and took us to a secluded beach where literally no one was. The view of the beach alone was worth the price. We also saw a couple of stranded paddle boarders on our way back that rented from other companies that were lost and we had to give them a ride back. So if you want to paddle board Justin is your best option for safety, the experience, and conversation. read more

My husband and I took a trip to FL for football this month and extended it with a 3-night stay in St Petersburg. We wanted to go paddleboarding, and Paddle Out was very highly rated- with good reason. Justin is fantastic. Being that it is the off-season, we were the only two people on this 3-hr excursion. My husband had never boarded before, but in 5 minutes we were up and running. Justin is very knowledgeable about the area, and great to talk to! We saw dolphins, a baby shark, and had a terrific time on a private beach that we paddled to. He's got some great ideas for the holiday season for those of you considering a trip with your families. All this, and very reasonably priced. I couldn't recommend him any higher! read more

My wife and two boys spent 3 hours with Justin and I'll tell you if you book your paddle or kayak adventure with any other company you are making a mistake. He is awesome. What a great experience. Our hotel offered paddle boarding but I realized that after I made the reservation. I'm so glad I went with this place. Captain Justin took us to a shallow area where the water was calm. It was a great place for me being a first timer. Had I tried it at the hotel (on the beach) I would of had a hard time since the waves would have made it difficult for me to get balance. It was worth every penny. read more

What a great trip ! My niece came from New York and it was my 50 th birthday wanted to do something special. We had a great adventure. Paddle boarding, swimming , fishing , looking for sand dollars. My family's experience with Paddle Out Adventures was outstanding. Justin was very accommodating on short notice and very flexible with the itinerary for the outing. Weather caused us to cut the paddle boarding a little short, but he made sure our boys had a great time, with some sightseeing and swimming in the area. We visit Clearwater almost every year and have utilized other charters and tours. Paddle Out Adventures ranks among the best we've encountered, particularly for those that have kids and need the ability to adjust activities on the fly to keep them entertained. read more

Thank you Justin for making our family's Thanksgiving really special. Justin was the most accommodating business owner to deal with you can imagine. He was extremely punctual, always returned calls immediately, and had fantastic paddle boards to go out on. I personally SUP quite a bit back in CA, and Justin made it possible for me to go out with my little nieces, and the rest of the family out at Indian Rocks beach over the Thanksgiving holiday. I would recommend that anyone that likes to go paddle boarding in this area give Justin a call. read more

Went out with Justin for a paddle trip with my family and boyfriend and had a great time. He was easy going and fun to work with from the first phone call. We took a 20 minute ride out to some smaller islands where the water was calmer, got a little lesson paddling and we were off. On the ride back Justin let us stop to watch a dolphin that was in the area. Overall a great experience! read more

I have gone stand up paddleboarding several times but this was a really unique experience. It's definitely unlike anything else available nearby. We took a pontoon boat to the coves off Caledesi Island, were instructed on how to use our boards, then launched ourselves from the boat. There were no other boats or distractions--just beautiful birds and baby dolphins. In addition to expertly guiding us, Captain Justin had lots of great local information to share for when we got back on land. We all had an amazing time and plan to return! read more

We had a first timer on a jet ski and and experienced person. They helped us learn how to get on the jet skis and use them and make sure we were safe before we headed off. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot about the area. He let the more experienced person play with the JetSki having some fun safely. He even let me borrow his sunglasses because the water was hitting my eyes and he did not have to do that. It was very kind. We will definitely be going back when we bring other family members.

Our experience at Highland Park Recreation Center was mixed. There were staff members we genuinely…read moreappreciated, but overall, this was not the right fit for our son. One of the biggest concerns was that the program seemed to expect children to simply comply rather than meet them where they were developmentally. Children who need extra guidance, emotional support, or individualized approaches may struggle here. Our son's classroom had approximately 15 children with a lead teacher and an assistant, which seemed like it should have allowed for more individualized attention, but that wasn't our experience. The quality of care also depended heavily on which teacher was present. Our son did much better with the morning lead teacher, who built a positive relationship with both our family and our son. We noticed a significant difference in his confidence and behavior under her care. Unfortunately, our experience with the afternoon teacher was very different. Nearly every pickup involved a list of problems or corrections. Rather than collaborating with us on strategies that worked for our child, it often felt like we were being lectured. We rarely felt that anyone was interested in asking what was successful at home or how we could work together. Communication from administration was also disappointing. There were times when it was difficult to reach the director, and concerns did not always feel acknowledged. At one point, I was spoken to disrespectfully in front of administration without meaningful intervention. That left me feeling anxious about bringing my son each day instead of confident that we were partnering with the school. As parents, we spent a great deal of time building our son's confidence at home. Unfortunately, we often felt that the environment at the center undermined those efforts instead of reinforcing them. Rather than focusing on prevention and helping children succeed, it sometimes felt like the emphasis was on correcting behavior after problems occurred. For example, recurring conflicts between certain children continued despite opportunities to separate them proactively. To be fair, there were positives. The morning teacher was caring, communicative, and made a noticeable difference in our son's experience. We also understand that recreation center programs are different from private preschools. If you're looking for reliable childcare, this program may meet your needs. However, if you're looking for a preschool environment that emphasizes emotional support, individualized guidance, and strong collaboration with parents--particularly if your child has ADHD, AuDHD, sensory needs, or simply needs more patience--I would encourage you to ask detailed questions before enrolling. This review reflects our family's personal experience, and ultimately we chose a different educational environment that we believe is a better fit for our son.

This park includes three distinct environments... beach, freshwater marshes and forest all very close to each other, with easy-to-follow unmarked trails and clean public bathrooms. We walked and explored and enjoyed for several hours, seeing osprey with young chicks, a pileated woodpecker, herons, ducks, a variety of stunning warblers, a loggerhead shrike and more! We also saw a variety of native butterflies and plants/trees/flowers, so I contributed those identifications since that's more my area of expertise. I was thrilled to see, for the first time in my life, the elusive Blue-Winged Warbler! Score! While I didn't obtain a photo, the sighting was definite and confirmed by my friend / guide / birding expert! Life is great when a small group of friends explore a beautiful and serene park, taking our time to really take it all in and as a bonus, I am able to add to my growing bird life list.

Now seeing all the one star reviews I would like to let y'all know it was VERY REASONABLY priced and I'm guessing the people who are saying it's overpriced never has know how much vet bills, animal food, shelter and lots more goes into taking care of ton of animals. I was in town for a few days and really wanted to try out fishing from a paddleboard. I called Captain Justin and after a very pleasant call we had a plan to meet at his boat in the morning. Took me around to some great spots that only a pontoon could go then took me to an awesome little cove to paddleboard fish that was loaded with reds and trout. Bc I let him know in advance that my goal was to fish, he showed up with an awesome kayak/paddleboard hybrid decked out with rod holders and a bait well so i was dressed for success. Excellent captain, nice boat, and a very memorable experience. I will definitely make this a regular event anytime I visit the area. Even saw a shark and some manatees which made for an added bonus. read more

We had the best experience with Paddle Out Adventures! As a paddle boarding newbie, you cannot go wrong with the 3 hour tour. You enjoy a scenic boat ride to a cove with calm waters where we received a paddle boarding lesson, followed by a guided tour to a beautiful beach for a swim. On the boat ride back to the marina we were fortunate to see some playful dolphins! Also a shout out to our Captain, Andrew, who's good sense of humor and knowledge of the area added to our enjoyment of the tour. The whole experience blew away my expectations and I highly recommend Paddle Out Adventures if you're in the Clearwater Beach area! read more

We had a great time with Paddle Out! The ride out to the paddling area was relaxing and our captain Jason enthralled us with stories about the houses, fishing, and the area. He was great at instructing us on how to use the boards and some helpful tips. The area we SUP'd in was great! It was calm and not too deep do you didn't have any hesitations. We had so much fun!! Jason took a bunch of photos for us (hello Christmas card). And on our way back we saw Dolphins that came right up to the boat!! Too cool. Way better than simply renting from a place on the beach and the price was incredibly comparable to that. read more

Captain Andrew gave us a fantastic tour with wonderful interactions and an absolutely gorgeous spot for paddle boarding, kayaking, and shell collecting. Everyone in our 5 person group from my wife and I to our 14, 7, and 2 year old all had a blast. The 3 hour ride was just right and we had the boat to ourselves! We saw dolphins, birds, collected shells, and spent time on a pretty cool little island. Andrew even helped with some rare shells for the 2 year old. This was definitely the best couple hours of our multi-destination vacation so far! read more

Captain Justin provided an extremely welcoming and comfortable environment. He is extremely knowledgable about the area and provides wonderful directions on how to paddle board. He went out of his way to take us to the perfect spot where the wind and current wouldn't affect us to much while we were still learning. He takes you out to an island so there is less boat traffic to worry about while paddle boarding. I would recommend him above any other paddle board company in Clearwater and I would definitely go again! read more

My family and I had the best experience today. Justin took us out for a quick paddle boarding trip..which I wish could have been longer but we only had a small window of time to go. He worked it out for us perfectly and we could not have been more pleased. Honestly there is a reason why he has the best reviews in town! Laid back, fun & affordable..what more could you ask for? Captain Justin took my husband and I out yesterday for our first experience with paddle boarding. The boarding was fantastic ( because Justin knew a quiet, protected cove and because he patiently gave us the basics, showed us by example and then sent us off to gain experience and confidence on our own) and the overall adventure was super - from the über clean, roomy boat, the guided tour of the area by water and recommendation for lunch and dinner spots. My wife and I went out for half a day with Justin and it was awesome. We started with some paddling along mangroves, fish and stingrays everywhere under us. He then took us to his "secret spot" where we spent the afternoon on a private beach. After paddling back he took us out on the boat to watch the sunset, the perfect ending to a perfect day. We asked for a little more than just paddling, and he delivered! I can't recommend him enough. read more

This is an amazing adventure! Our tour guide did an incredible job. He followed us around, took tons of pictures for us, and made our tour incredibly special! We were on our honeymoon, and it was definitely well worth our time and money to go. Highly recommend booking this place! We went to a private beach to swim, and we walk around and put our kayaks in the ocean to "surf." Definitely would do it again! read more

We had the perfect day on the water with Justin. It was so great saying to a local take us where you would take your best friends who are here to visit. That is just what we got, a beautiful tour around the island. We got in the water, hung out with the dolphins and heard great information about the local area. It was amazing the kayaks were easy to control and pretty fast. we saw so much jumping fish called mullets. Captain Justin was really nice. at the beach we went to there were at LEAST 10,000 shells AND a tree to hang the shells you find. we hung a HUGE oyster shell and another smaller shell. we even saw tiny crabs and dolphins. you HAVE to do it. The paddle out adventure was totally worth the price. Captain Justin was very nice and fun to talk to, and extremely accommodating. He didn't just give us a paddle board and throw us in the bay, he took us to an area with low traffic, taught us how to paddle board, and gave us directions to a really cool secluded beach. I would definitely recommend this for everyone. read more

Our paddle boarding experience was awesome! He took us out near a cove and told us how to get to a secret beach which was really cool. We were lucky enough to come across some dolphins while we were paddling back! I would highly recommend this place and I'll be back next year for another awesome experience!! Captain Justin went above and beyond to make sure that my boyfriend and I had an excellent time on his boat! He was very patient with our beginner skills on the paddle boards, and he also showed us the most beautiful beach that we had ever seen! Highly recommend this as a fun outing with your family - appropriate for all ages!! Paddle Out took us out today on their tandem kayak. Had a great time going through the mangrove trails and checking out all of the wildlife. Many birds, stingrays and fish along the way. Super quiet and serene, what a great relaxing afternoon. Had a great time Thank you Captain Justin!!! read more

Loved it! Went out paddle boarding for a few a hours and it was a awesome experience, Captain Justin took me out to a secluded island. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get out on the water. To top it all off it ended with a beautiful sunset. read more
