Over Cooked steak not Med rare
    Tod T.

Showed up at the end of dinner hour, using the front entrance to a warn out bar we were greeted by the owner that lead us back to the host station where he order his staff to seat us. The employee said just a minute I'll clear a table then the owner barked at us this way I'll seat at another table. The back end was painful slow crab cakes appetizer took 40 minutes told they had to make fresh ones? My wife's fish and chips was cooked perfectly and I don't care for batters fish and it was not greasy. No my steak which was ordered medium rare came our medium well at this point the clock was pushing 9pm and no other customers were in the restaurant and I was done and didn't want a re do. The waiter did her best and didn't charge for a beer and gave us a free dessert.

We are there quite often. Food always good, soda bread is fabulous. I wish we could order it by the loaf.

The food is the best Irish food around. The pork chop is amazing. If you like good food you can go no further.

I absolutely loved this very authentic Irish pub! It made me feel like I was back in Dublin! First,…read morethey carry the very difficult to find and absolutely delicious Kilkenny beer! It is a place where you can sit at the bar and chat comfortably with friendly people, and somewhere around 9 PM, the live Irish music will begin. Definitely worth a stop.

I haven't had dinner here in several years, and today was my first time in for brunch. I ordered…read morethe Irish Breakfast with eggs over easy (although they were cooked over medium), and Bubble & Squeak as my potato choice, which is fried mashed potatoes with cabbage and bacon, yet I didn't see or taste cabbage or bacon inside. The other components of the dish included fried bangers (sausages), black & white pudding (blood sausage & pork), baked beans, sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, bacon, and another small puck of sausage, as well as brown bread and butter. It was a great value with some items I liked and some I didn't due to personal preference, not because anything wasn't prepared well, as it all appeared to be cooked properly. My girlfriend ordered the Celtic Grilled Cheese with bacon, arugula, aged white cheddar, aioli, grilled tomatoes on toasted sourdough. Her sandwich looked amazing, and I regret not asking for a bite. That may be a future order for me. She loved it! I also ordered the County Clare Bloody Mary, which is made with their own seasoning blend and served with a chaser of Harp beer. They asked me how spicy I wanted it, and I said medium, which I think they nailed. This was one of the best Bloodies I've had in town! Overall, a nice brunch experience with good service and a great ambience. I do want to return to try more brunch items.

Date of visit: November 20, 2025…read more We had not been here in years, but came with some friends for the Milwaukee County Historical Society trivia. It definitely seemed that the staff here were simply not prepared for the volume of people that came out to celebrate the area and support the Historical Society. Emma, our server, was definitely trying, but not always succeeding, neglecting to enter in some parts of the order until far later into the evening (our friends didn't receive their order of garlic bread for about 45 minutes after their entrees were delivered) though oddly enough, she was always ready to bring someone another alcoholic beverage. Thankfully the food I had was pretty good, the grilled cheese sandwich paired well with their tomato bisque soup--I took a chance on the soup not being a traditional tomato soup fan (Campbell's? Gross!) but I found Three Lions version to be hearty and flavorful, definitely a combo that I would get again in the future. I would just come on a night when they could keep up with the crowds far better! Pro tip: Ask for croutons for the soup, they elevated a good soup to an amazing soup.
