I have nothing but great things to say about Padgett's. EVERYONE was professional, respectful and very kind! Communication was good so I always knew what to expect on any given day. I had an upstairs bathroom flood that affected two bedrooms, hallway, kitchen and garage. A big project so I got to see them a lot! Special shout outs to Karen M., Alex, Saul, Bill, Isa, Collin and Elton! They put up with my huge dog(s) barking at them each and every time they walked in. But she secretly loved them and expected pets or treats. I have 3 indoor cats and the rule is they DO NOT get outside. All of the workers were mindful of that and there were no incidents! When I called Padgett's they were literally here within 15 minutes! I had just turned the water main off when I called. I was near hysterical and they put me at ease and said they'd take care of me and walk me through the process. They were true to their word! They helped me work with my homeowners insurance company making that a smooth process. We recently had a flood that required us to have our kitchen completely gutted out. Once the remediation was done, Padgett came in to do the restoration. Adam was our project manager, who came and explained the process of getting our kitchen back together. This team of professionals came in and provided us with such great service! I would give zero stars, but that was not one of the options. I am having to clean up overspray, I have outlets (that used to be flush with the wall) that are now crooked. The timeframe I was originally given was not even close to being met. I was told trust me you will like it, it will be like a new house. Not even close to the truth. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the floor restoration Padgett's performed in my house. First- the job started on December 16 and was not completed until approximately February 16-17. This was not more than a 3 week job. We stayed in a hotel for 2 months due to the incompetence of this company. Second- the cleaning crew only cleaned the area where the floors were replaced despite the fact that the dust and grit had permeated all the rooms in my house.  When I asked Padgett's cleaners about the other rooms, they indicated that Mike said " we didn't do any work in those rooms".  I had to hire a cleaner to come in to clean my house and remove the grit and dust that remained. Third-my toilet, that was removed from the bathroom is still sitting in the front of my house and closet doors are resting on the closet because the track was not not been replaced, legs for the sofa are missing and the baseboards have not been painted as promised. As I read the company values I could not help but think that this job was certainly not done with those values in mind.  We have been back in the house for over a week and still no word from the owner of the company or the project manager on when these things will be taken care of. It has been a disappointing ride with Padgett's Fire and Flood. Our process started with a sewer back up in early January and here we are in Mid May with our home still unfinished and Padgett's recent communication advising us that the job is now too small to be profitable for them to complete. At no time we're we told there would be a job minimum and their lack of responsiveness has been unbelievable. Now we are stuck and basically have to restart the process over for the repair. They were terrible the entire time from one person saying one thing to another saying something totally different. The quotes they provided originally missed so many elements they had to be redone. We had a leak in our home that then created, mold, our home owners insurance sent Padgett's team to our home. Christian Lechuga was assigned the task of cleaning out and drying the mold. Christian was very professional always on time and courteous. Christian and his team were fast efficient and very neat workers. Would never recommend! Now that all is said and done and no worse can happen - I can freely write this review. What a mistake hiring Padetts. Looking to help a small family owned business - I took a chance on them for a small $8000 flood repair. I guess because it was small compared to their other projects, we were an after thought because they sure made us feel like it. No sense of time or importance. When the work began, one the first day, their worker had to use our restroom - no problem - other than the fact that he broke our toilet seat and spent 90 minutes in there. We took the seat out and did not replace it by day two - when he again spent 90 minutes in there. Was he sleeping? Constant delays - because we needed custom cabinets? Well when the estimate was done 30 day prior - why were the custom cabinets not ordered at that time instead of day five into the project - horrible project management! But this, according to them, was our fault. It took them 10 business day to do what our insurance said would be a quick 5 day job. They did not bother to show up most days - with out telling us - because they were waiting for things. In the end we got sub-par work - doors that were not sanded or painted - cabinets that were nothing like the ones that had to be replaced - carpet that was lower grade than what was there before and the list goes on. OF course - their answer was - hey, your selling the house - you just needed to get it done. True to a point - but we also deserved and paid for quality workmanship, timeliness, and attitude. I will say - in all honesty - they did have two gentleman that were very professional and it is unfortunate they are working for such a company that does not care about all of their clients. We appreciated the work they did - fixing what the other workers did and going above the low standards their company set. That is why we tipped them - and only them. I would never recommend this company - to anyone. read more

I had to give them a one star but in reality, I would have given them -5. I had the misfortune to use Padgett's for the mitigation portion (tear down and dry out after a flood) which they did immediately, but they broke the bathroom vanity top by literally ripping it out. They could have used a sawz-all and cut it out and it would have been reusable. They were horrible about getting started on the restoration end. Granted it happened on Dec 01st, but still by Jan 4th they had not even begun to work on the restoration!., when I tried to get them to commit, they told me they didn't want the job. Now I can't get them to return my key and some pieces of cabinetry and tile that they took to have analyzed. Save yourself the heartache - use someone else. read more

When I had a water leak in my kitchen, Padgett's came out to help. The repairs have been a bit time consuming, so it was a huge relief to have such a great company in my home. Each and every person who has been here have been caring and conscientious. They show up when they say they will and leave the work area clean each day. Well we we're getting a new floor and old was found in our hard wood floor it wasn't moist so we panicked and called Padgetts they came and tested and said to treat it the was was almost $3,000...we were like dang... But before they came out we had to call somebody to test for asbestos it was negative... And yes of course that was another charge.. So Padgetts came back out and found no mold and no moisture and cut a big Section out of my wall... And my bill was still almost $3000 and they would not even budge..I'm not happy with them read more

Our insurance company contracted Padgett's to help up when a pipe burst in our wall in Sept 2021. It is now the end of May 2022 and after nearly 8 months of being without a fully working kitchen, our work has still not been completed. The person responsible for coordinating and scheduling our restoration project has been unresponsive and unremarkable. Several of the people sent to our home to do work have damaged our floors or walls further which required more work. In some cases we did it ourselves because Padgett's was either unresponsive or did shoddy work. They demolished my kitchen without any consideration of the restoration phase of the project. Critical parts of my stove and several cabinet pulls were lost in the demo process. My faucet developed a profound leak that did not exist prior to its removal and the oven door was damaged during the reinstallation and will no longer close. Cabinets were installed in February, but we still do not have the doors with glass. We have tried to be understanding of labor and material shortages, but the pm assigned to us has lied on multiple occasions about why work isn't being done or why a subcontractor can't be here as previously scheduled. On one occasion he pulled the installer from our job to work on another, leaving our floor partially completed for several days. We found out when the installer came over to pick up the tools he needed; we were initially told he had a personal emergency. Padgett's lack of dedication to their client, poor customer service, lack of communication and shoddy workmanship prevent me from recommending them for any work. You would be better off looking elsewhere for help. read more

I would give then zero stars if possible. We had a small electrical fire. It took 8 months and they did not have the courtesy to complete the job, they basically abandoned it because they had a bigger job elsewhere. They were worked about 6 weeks of the 8 months. They tried to force me to pay for all the services they did not provide, they put a lien on my home and threatened to take me to court. I said let's go and then they settled. The paint job was terrible, it was only half done. They didn't clean everything they said they cleaned. Matt Shinault was terrible and got very agitated and difficult at the end when I pointed out work that was not done. For anyone in need of restoration services I suggest you take photos everyday and thoroughly supervise the work. Go over every line of the estimate, even though there are hundreds of lines and check off the work that was done. Document all conversations and save all texts messages. They've been great working on my grandparents house after an unfortunate plumbing issues flooded it. They have respect my grandparents space and they always wear a masks. They have handled everything from drying out and inspecting the home to ensure it was safe, moving out the furniture, get new flooring installed and then bring all the furniture back to put it back exactly where it belongs. The Two agents for Padgett's arrived very soon after the flooding of half of my home from an waterline break. They immediately went into cleanup mode, assessing the damaged areas, instructing me on what they were doing and why. Within one half hour, fans were set up along with two dehumidifiers. I would not recommend this company. I was referred to Padgetts by Mercury Insurance. They came out and gave the insurance company a quote which included new flooring throughout the home. I was under the impression I would pay my deductible and they would complete the job and any upgrades i would pay out of pocket. Well, that didn't happen. The project manager suggested I go somewhere else and get the flooring because they don't make money off floors and was trying to save me money. I would think profit margin would be part of any quote and never heard of any business turning money down. The whole purpose of going with this company was to have them perform the work and not have to shop around. I can say, the work performed by Johnathan was perfect. Because of this drawn out experience, I notified my agent to cancel my home owners policy and took it elsewhere. read more

The company replied to my post, and putting incorrect information , no surprise! I did my due diligence and got three quotes prior to picking a contractor. Padgett was my first contractor and I DID NOT have another contractor prior to them. It's interesting to me, they felt the need to say that, which is a lie. Greg prior to making incorrect statements you should know the facts. I never dealt with you but your customer service is not where it should be! I see you will continue to ignore your customers thoughts and concerns. Then call my insurance a high risk insurance. We had to fight, but no need to make seem like my insurance is not a reputable insurance company. I got all my money and my kitchen is complete! read more

1st thing you worry about when you have a need to hire a contractor is.. Are they going to rip me off?? Are they going to be dishonest? I am in the design industry..so working with contractors is nothing new. So many people have fears surrounding this for good reason.. Many promise the world...but do not deliver! This is where Padgetts delivers. They are so HONEST! seriously ... not that common in this field. What they say is what they deliver. There will always be hang ups when your taking about doing a renovation, or dealing with a 3rd party like insurance. .but dealing with a company like Padgetts is as good as it gets. Always reliable.
