Several days after they finished the job, I noticed there was a large puddle of water in the middle of the driveway caused by the rain (see pics). This means that they did not slope the concrete correctly to provide proper drainage. I reached out to Mark, the owner, and at first he blamed me for it. After further discussion, he agreed to send someone over to check on the issue the next day. However, the guy did not show up. I sent Mark a few text messages and he never replied back. This is not a legitimate or professional company. When I first talked to Mark, he had told me he was licensed. And after the contract signed, he told me he was not licensed. Do not trust this company for your concrete work.

Within a span of a week or two of meeting Marco (Jr.) for a consultation, we were already so impressed by his knowledge and ability to carefully explain the cement process thoroughly, that we decided to hire M&M for our backyard cement project without hesitation. We were able to get scheduled relatively quickly and it took approximately a day and a half from start to finish for excavation, drainage installation, cement poured with beautiful diamond finishes + a small area with high quality CA fescue turf (my pup loves it!). The final results most definitely exceeded our expectations and we were also so pleased with the quality of the cement after it cured. Marco's extremely professional, knowledgeable and most of all, incredibly patient. The amount of back and forth I put him through for different quotes and renderings would've seemed bothersome and annoying to others, but Marco handled each request with so much patience, flexibility, understanding and poise. I put a call into the company and received a text that they would get back to us when they had an opening. It's been since Oct. 2023 and I still haven't heard back from them. Ridiculous! My patio was built in 2013 and the seams are leaking which I understand could need some repair. All we want is the original company to come and seal it for us. We know it will be at a cost and we are fine with it. We've called other companies and they don't want to touch it since it's not their original work. The lack of customer service with AAA is appalling. What good are they if they can't stand behind their product? Buyer beware

This is an overdue post but well deserved. RB Masonry did an amazing job installing concrete and a…read moresmall retaining wall on our property back in June 2020. Prior to getting our concrete patio extended, our yard was not level and had lots of tree roots from a camphor tree that was cut down. RB masonry knew how to make it level and removed a lot of tree roots for us. They were professional, on-time, and super patient with any questions I had. Their price was very fair for the amount of labor and material they used. They are licensed Masonries which was a must for us. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing masonry work done. Ivan is also one of the nicest contractors I've ever worked with. We've had a few projects done with our house and RB Masonry continues to be our favorite.
