By far my favorite pizza in the Salem area. I love the thin, crispy crust. I've tried most of there different toppings, and have yet to have a bad pizza. This is, hands-down, the best pizza I have had in a long time. Thin crust loaded with sauce, cheese and any of the fresh toppings they have as options. It does take a little while, sometimes 30 min, as most of the kitchen staff is in high school but they are friendly. The food is so good we seem to forget about it anyway once it arrives. They also have a soda bar and we like to get pitchers of rootbeer. It's only $3 for the whole pitcher! Definetly the best, we go there everytime we are in town. read more

I would consider this to be our family favorite until tonight. I ordered my family favorite pizza, went home to find out they got the order wrong. I called to let them know after my twenty minute ride across town. Only to be told if I brought the pizza back they would remake the pizza. No extra compensation, that was it. Excuse me, I didnt order wrong, i did my part! I watched the order be wrote out, the pizza was made wrong. Yucky to! It was suppose to be half pineapple and half pepparoni black olive, yucky to mix all! Could barely gag that misteak down. Sorry Paddingtons will take our business elsewhere now! I am still wondering why ate in this place (it was a birthday party for a friends child). The pizza dough tasted & looked like card board & the toppings were tasteless . Sorry....... I know people like this place but I am entitled to my opinion people & this is it. It was tasteless & yes I would not be back. On the other hand Church St. Pizza & Pietro's are at the top of the list for Salem. I if you are not looking for just something to stuff in your mouth that is were to go. The pizza is delicious! I wasn't a fan of the staff though. They almost make you feel like you did something wrong, simply, by ordering a pizza... I'm glad to see that the blond hair manager is gone. The man was obviously *cough* on meth *cough*. Plus, I'm not a fan of the fact that they get their canned mushrooms from Taiwan, and it costs extra to get "fresh". Also, I wish there was a tip jar for the pizza makers... It's almost a militant atmosphere. I would like to remind the owner and managers that these are just kids, and to ease up on them. Best pizza in Salem! Go during lunch time and get the personal lunch pizza, just enough pizza for lunch and at under $6 I think its a great deal. Heads up if your on lunch break though, they get very busy so call your pizza in ahead of time before showing up. Enjoy! read more

I'm a regular customer and always enjoy the pizza but my experience today is indicative of one of the few drawbacks of the place. I just spent an hour and a half trying to order a pizza because the phone was continually busy. On a Thursday, early afternoon. Was the place overrun with business? Who knows, but not according to the young man who answered the phone on attempt 27. Certainly there are days when the place is totally overrun, but that isn't typically Thursday afternoon. But there's the rub - getting through to place an order can be challenging and the reality is that most businesses have found a way to cope by adding capacity. The pizza is very tasty and I would rate the place four and a half stars but the frustration of making 27 calls just to place an order drops my rating to three. read more

Would give no stars if I could. We go inside to order a pizza to go. She says it will take 55 mins, but could be ready sooner. Awesome. So we come back 45 mins later, stood in the long line a minute as no one would help to the left of the register (which is where I thought you go to pick up an already paid for pizza). After having not so pleasant encounter with another customer (just rude, also not paddingtons fault) I finally am able to get my pizza, and the person helping me says, I've been wondering where you were/when someone was going to get this pizza (not verbatim). Now I'm confused because I showed up what I thought was 10 mins early. I take my pizza and go. I'm not driving, and on the way home I look at the pizza: it doesn't even have the right toppings, and what's worse is it doesn't even look like it recently came out of the oven, cheese looked like it was already cooling, not hot and stringy. I was fine with waiting for a fresh pizza, but don't tell me it's going to take 55 mins when I looks like it was ready in 20. I would have just sat inside and waited for my pizza instead of wasting my time. And I didn't even get the pizza I ordered. Was going to try to get the right pizza, but I know I'll just have to wait another hour, drive back over there, and hope the manager actually cares enough to help. Which by the sound of the other reviews, they don't. 10/10 won't spend money here again read more

I love Paddington's pizza and I don't know why! They use an extremely thin cracker-like crust, which I usually don't like. They use canned mushrooms, which I usually don't like. If I had one of their pizzas sitting in front of me, I could probably name a few other things that I usually don't like. But, for some reason, when I'm eating their pizza, it's almost like crack. When all of those ingredients are a complete package, I can't eat it fast enough. I don't get it. Even if you like your pizza thick, you might want to still give them a try to see if you have the same reaction I do. Padington's is fantastic. When you go there, it's obvious the time they put into the details -- from the names of the pizzas to the mug style cups you can get for water. Great atmosphere! Really cool parlor eating area. You have to pay for your drinks separately from the pizza. You can pay by the glass or pitcher. Pizza was alright. I got vegetarian and everything seemed fresh but the crust was lacking. There were many young people behind the counter that weren't very friendly or welcoming but not rude either... I want to start by saying, I LOVE Padington's pizza. I don't crave any other pizza, in fact, I don't really care for pizza very much in general, except Padingtons. That being said, the service of this location is obnoxiously bad. I would have stopped coming here after the first time if the pizza weren't so damn good. I just want the business owner to realize how much business they lose out on. We hang up half the time we go to order due to ridiculous hold times (I hung up yesterday after 7 minutes during which time I'm convinced I was just plain forgotten) and we've also run into the nearly two hour wait time (no, not on a Friday evening where you'd expect) which has also caused us to go elsewhere. The pizza is good...but the last couple times has been over-baked. We actually went to the pine street location yesterday instead and they did a great job with only a 20 minute wait. Great pizza, just wish the business was ran better. More than one phone line for calls AND credit card processing would be helpful. And a pickup line for to-go orders so you don't have to stand in line and wait for people to order while your pizza is just sitting there getting cold. Would be 5 stars, just for the service, minus one. read more

Pizza Served with Snark. Been going to Paddington's on Pine for decades. No longer. The older man there (grey & black curly hair, glasses) is rude and completely untrained in customer service principles. We called in our pizza order and were told it would be ready for pick-up in 20 minutes. So upon hanging up the phone, we drove over there immediately as we live about 15 minutes away. Figured we'd just 'hang' until they called our number. We went to the counter, gave them our name and paid for the pizza, thinking it would be a bit until it was out of the oven. Instead, our pizza was already sitting in that metal shelving unit waiting for us. We asked to see it before accepting it (as more than once they've tried to give us someone else's order). It was FULL of big giant air bubbles, the sauce was a full 3" from the outside edge of the crust, and it was dried up looking with hardly any toppings. We didn't just spend nearly $30 for that. So we asked if they could remake the pizza for us (we would gladly wait). Instead, the "Manager" (and I use that term sarcastically), told us he wouldn't make a new pizza for us (they weren't even busy at the time). So we asked for a refund and cheerfully went to another pizza place we know where they ARE happy to remake what looks like a 3-day old pizza (of course, they've never served one that looked like this one did!) If this guy is the Manager, then no wonder all the employees at Pine Street look like they hate their jobs and they hate being there. This guy is a grump and either A) needs customer service training, or B) needs to be told to look for a job offer elsewhere (like a dark closet away from interacting with people). Until he is gone we have informed those we know to head to any other pizza place in town! read more
