I think it's really cool that an old Greyhound station got turned into a brewery. Coming from Indianapolis, there are more strict rules w/ restaurants in Paducah about being dog friendly, plus they serve food so I totally understand why it wouldn't allow pets. However, I think Paducah would do well if they allowed dogs in various places. The beers are decent and the food is okay, but every time I've come here it seems to be a bit empty. Not sure if we're coming at odd times or if it's usually that quiet. read more

We strayed from the interstate to try a local micro brew spot for a break and lunch. The mushrooms were fantastic and we also had the wings which were really great. The place was pretty slow for a lunch time visit, but I am sure it gets busy later in the evening. I wanted to get a shirt or hat, but no inventory was available on the day we were there. A very cool spot near the little downtown area with some quality beer and food. It was worth the ride from the interstate after coming back from St. Louis. I would recommend the trip if you ever are looking to stop for a nice lunch when your coming back from a trip and find yourself near the exit of Interstate 24. read more

First, my time was limited, but what a great place to hang out for an hour and relax with good beer, kind people, and some very good pepperoni chips. First, the staff here are super. Very friendly and laid back. Helpful in understanding the beer and our particular flavors. Ah, the beers. You'll find something to fit your tastes. I had the Irish Red and the Crossroads Cream Ale. Both of these were very tasty, easy drinking beers. Sample a few others that I liked, especially the Robust Porter. Had I time for another, the Porter would've capped the day well. The only food we tried was the pepperoni chips. These were great. Tasty, crunchy, different, but very enjoyable. We had friends come into town and they were traveling with their dog. Paducah Beer Werks is dog friendly and has seating outside. We were able to order off the menu and the waiter was great! We received the same attention outside as if we were inside customers. It was a beautiful evening and the restaurant had fans running outside that kept bugs and flies off us and our food. Tried the pepperoni chips for apps. Was a first for me and I liked them. Very spicy. I had the chicken BLt and my coworker had the fig burger. I had onion rings and he fries. Food was good. We ate at this restaurant for lunch today after a track meet. Super cool atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and the food was really good. We had the pepperoni chips, toasted ravioli and tater tot special for appetizers. My husband had the build your own pizza. Really good and loaded with cheese. I had their BLT and another family member had the wings and cheeseburger. Everything was really good we will definitely be back. My husband loved their October fest beer. While we just sat at the bar they have a dining room and patio as well and the space is really well done, very open. My fiancé and I were looking for a pizza joint to go to after finding out that Kirchhoff's Deli closes at 2. We were contemplating about several different places and we settled for PBW. So glad we came here because I was really impressed with their food. Our server told us they use fresh ingredients from local vendors here, which I believe because the food speaks for itself. I created my own pizza with marinara sauce as a base, topped it off with sriracha sausage(a must), pepperoni, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. The pizza was cooked perfectly, more on the well done side, which I prefer because I love when the pizza is crispy. I specifically asked for very light cheese when ordering, however, the chef was a little heavy handed with that(which I was able to scape off). My fiancé ordered the bratwurst topped with green peppers and onions with honey dijon mustard and omg, it was one of the best ones I've had. We stopped here after a long day of driving. Service was excellent! It was a nice bar atmosphere but we could still have a conversation. Food was excellent- we were not sure what to expect because there was not a menu online. Two in our party got a special of the day. The mushroom burger and a pizza. Both were very happy. We had a pit stop at PBW on our journey home to Lexington, KY. We have never been to Paduch so we decided to break up our drive back from MS and stay in Paduch. So I did my yelp research for cool spots which are a must see while in this river town. We had read about PBW and how it was converted from an old greyhound bus station to a brewery and bar. As we pulled into the parking lot , the outside still had the numbered railings where the buses would load the travelers. So cool. You walk in and it still has some cool resemblances of a bus station but with a new industrial modern touches. We loved the bar, it not only offers the craft beer, but had a fully stocked bar. The bourbon selection was top notch. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic bartender named Scott. He was great. He didn't push beers he liked but instead asked us our beer types and let us sample before deciding which one to choose. He showed both knowledge and great customer service. I decided on the PBW Robust Porter, it was smooth, dark but not heavy which I like. He also talked me into the Saison, it was delicious. I normally do not care for that craft beer style because it is flowery usually but they did a lemongrass and coriander style saison which is wonderful. I could drank that all day! My husband went for the Nitro Stout and then worked his way through the other PBW stouts and guest stouts. We weren't starving when we arrived, but had read about the famous pepperoni chips and thought that would go nice with our beers. I will never have regular chips again. The pepperoni had this Parmesan crust on it and the same salty crisp texture a normal chip. I highly recommend it. I asked for there homemade ranch to dip my chips, but it comes with spicy ranch dipping sauce. Unfortunately my wimpy taste buds could not handle the spicy version. I want to purchase their homemade ranch to take home because it was the best ranch I have ever had, so it is a must to have while there. I would put that ranch on everything!! We did not eat dinner there, but the selections are great. They have sandwich's, homemade pizzas and calzones. The girl next to us had a homemade calzone that could have fed 4 people. It looked amazing. So come hungry and be ready to taste some good craft beers. read more

The beer is great and there's an excellent bourbon selection. The owner is an important part of the community and is generous with his time on community projects and charities. Ahh, Paducah Beer Werks. Known to the locals as PBW, this place is one of Paducah's new/hip/favorite gems. I've been quite a bit, not sure why I've never logged a review...I suppose it's time! It is located in a renovated Greyhound Bus station and you can see that all over. The outside still has some of the original signage and the inside reflects a lot of the original fixtures. My favorite is the beautiful tile floor! I need to add some pictures of the place, don't I? The beer is really outstanding, there is an Irish red that gets a lot of attention, but I personally love the IPA. I don't think they are brewed on site, if they are you don't se any of the works. Of course, there are always guest beers. If you're not sure what you're after, just ask. The servers usually do great work. Which leads to my next point: The service has been much better on my last two visits. I think I have been eight or ten times, and one of the early visits had pretty inattentive and uninterested service. The last few times, though, have been great! Professional, personal service is one thing that can make a good experience into a great one! The menu is a bit limited, I don't think they have a grill. Regardless the hit is the pepperoni chips, trust me. The wings are good, the paninis are fine, but lately they have had some really good bratwurst. The cajun one comes with fried onions and peppers, it's a smart call. For the first time last night I tried a fig, ham, and goat cheese flatbread pizza. It may sound funny, but it was outstanding! Great beer and drinks, fun trivia/bands, very subpar food. I've been a couple times now, and while I always enjoyed their in-house beers and their weekly trivia or bands. All of their mules were delicious, albeit a little weak. While I'm not a huge beer drinker, i really enjoyed their Kolch and my friends were pleased with everything they tried. However; the food has always left more to be desired. Twice now we've ordered burgers cooked medium-rare or medium, and both times for all our burgers, they have been severely dry and overdone. I'd also steer clear of their onion rings have been soggy and under seasoned, though their fries are delicious and crispy. We've also ordered the pepperoni chips, which just tasted like burnt pepperoni. Lastly, their pizza is decent but nothing to rave about. Their crust has always come out a bit underdone, however they have some interesting specialty pizzas, which are very reasonably priced. So, I'd definitely stop in for some music or drinks, just make sure you eat somewhere beforehand! read more

Really great place with awesome beers and delicious food. I got the smokehouse burger which had delicious bbq sauce and crispy bacon. I waited two hours for a simple order of chicken tenders. We then reminded the server about it multiple times, and yet we still did not receive the chicken tenders. They said they would give them to us for free for the wait, but we STILL never received them. The ambiance is nice but the service was not good. Do better. read more

The menu is a bit limited and while we were there, a fundraiser was going on with a live band. They had all the doors and windows closed to the building and the metal/concrete/glass interior made it deafeningly loud. I was here once before and had the same experience. In addition, they were out of more than 3 of their brews which doesn't cut it for a place like this. There are better options. read more

I arrived at 4:45pm to meet friends who were supposed to be there @ 5pm. Hostess very politely told me they had unexpectedly allowed a funeral after party (her words) to use their back room so it was closed for now. No problem. I needed a table for 6 ppl so she seated me at a table in the main room & said as soon as the funeral party was done she would move us to a table in the back (her words, not my request). I ordered food at 5:30pm. Our waitress was also very nice. About 20 min later, we were told the funeral party had left & that we could move to the middle table in the back room. When we sat down, a male staff came up and yelled, "Ladies! These tables are being moved out of here!" Confused, we stood and asked where to sit, but no one knew so we went back to our original table to wait for further instructions. 15 min later, we were told to move to a large table closer to the back room. When we did, our waitress cont'd to serve us, but another male staff stormed up & asked rudely if we were going to stay there or were we going to move again. We said we were just sitting where we told and would not move again. 10 min later, he came back and said we couldn't sit there because it was reserved for another party. When we questioned him and tried to explain what we had been told, he became very nasty, pointed at the door, & threatened to kick us out. Stunned, we sat discussing what to do and who to ask about all this when a male manager came running up, screamed at us, threatened to kick us out, & told us we could stand or leave because they had 15 ppl at the door waiting for a table. I calmly and politely asked if I could talk to him to explain to which he literally screamed, "I'm not listening to any of it! I'm done!" and strode away. At no time did I ask for a certain table or to be moved. I simply followed instructions. So, I arrived at 4:45pm, waited as instructed for 3 hours, never got the food I ordered, moved every time I was told, sat everywhere I was told, only to be rudely told by staff to get up from the last table at which I was seated, told to stand or leave, and was literally screamed at by a manager. I found the waitress, explained what happened, gave her a $20 bill for the one beer I had, and left. I will never go there again and I do not recommend them. Absolutely appalling. read more

I like this place. There is a great selection if beers on tap. It's mainly burgers and pizza on the menu. My brother ordered fried pickles as an appetizer. This was probably my favorite place my wife and I visited during our weekend in Paducah. The place was very clean and the staff were all super friendly and very open to any questions about their food or beverages. The food came out fast. We ordered the traditional bruschetta and the margarita pizza. Both were super super amazing. The pizza was the best I have ever ate! We tried two of their beers; the golden ale and Irish red and both had an amazing taste and went down very smooth. I also loved the aftertaste the ale left. I left there with a 64oz growler full of the Irish red. I already miss this place and will definitely visit every time I'm in Paducah! read more

I would not hesitate to recomend this place to someone. The food is good and so is the service. I came in the other night and waited a little longer than usual to be seated. It looked like they might be short staffed, so it was no big deal. We got seated by a guy who was moving really fast to get us situated which matched the sincerity of his apology for the wait. Our waitress came by, asked if we had been helped and she apologized for our wait. She was efficient, took great care of us and again apologized at the end (which wasn't that big of a deal to begin with). The meal was really good. They have some great burgers. We thanked her for the great service and tipped accordingly. We like this place, and didn't have a problem waiting, but when the staff's actions matched the apology it just solidifies our loyalty to continue to patronize a genuinely good place. read more
