My family always gets pizza from here. This is by far the best place to get pizza. We always get what we want in the order, nothing is forgotten. When you plan ahead and order 90+ minutes before you want your food and you are still waiting 20+ minutes past that time. Even when you call and are told it's "out of the house" and no more than 5 minutes out. And still, you wait. Dishonesty is not a good look if you are in a service industry. Especially, when the order is not a pie and a 2 liter but $80+ and you lie about the order to your client, whom which you hope provides repeat business. If it's busy, adjust your posted delivery time. If a client calls and maybe the order hasn't even been prepared, tell the truth. Absolutely the worst customer service and for that matter the pizza. It was overpriced and lacked cheese. I wish i saw all of the other negative reviews before spending $46 for a pizza and 10 wings. I brought my concern that there was minute amount of cheese to LORENZO, who states he is the manager (and son of the owner who he supposedly consulted) LORENZO refused any kind of mediation or even a replacement pizza for the ruined dinner. Would give them ZERO stars, if I could! This business has some of the worst customer service I have ever had!! If you are NOT a regular, then forget about ANY type of service. There are always like 20 people standing behind the counter and they ALL ignore you! Their pizza is flavorless, greasy and over priced. Paesans is a good choice if you are in the area. The crust is chewy and soft, and on my margharita the sauce/cheese ratio was just right. It wasn't overly greasy and you can still fold it in half without a bunch of oil dripping down the middle. I didn't feel like the meat lover's pizza had as much meat as a meat lover's ought to have, so kinda skimpy on the toppings. The sausage and pepperoni only swim in cheese grease and are neither very spicy nor substantial, i.e. thinly sliced. Mostly they serve as just decoration. But the pizza is still is tasty though, since the cheese/sauce/crust combination is good. They deliver to local businesses which make them our first choice for work pizza parties. I knocked off a star because my first time trying Paesans was not good: the crust was overly tough and thick and the sauce was non-existant. So very dry. I regretted the calories consumed. This second time was a ton better but I feel this means their quality is inconsistent. read more

The lady at the counter was plain rude and cold. Her attitude showed I was wasting her time ordering from them. I really can't see how they say their Brooklyn's finest. The pizza was dry, lacked any flavor or cheese. Everything looked skimped out on. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was dry as hell. Again lacking cheese and sauce. Only thing good from my order was the fried ravioli. They were cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor. After seeing them on tv for donating to our military I came here to try them out. Great staff and newly remodeled!!! My first time at Paesans and I was very very happy! Got two slices to go they were big and really yummy. Heir slices are all mostly $2.89 plus tax. This place is huge. I work close by to the Albany location, this store is much cleaner, larger and more friendly. I will drive out of the way to come back here for more pizza!! They take credit card which was a plus and honor coupons unlike the Albany location who seemed clueless every trims email specials went out. Thanks for a good first experience! So the staff is nice, delivery efficient. But I have to say the pizza is so weird. The cheese is weirdly milky, it's a really weird consistency, and the sauce is pretty flavorless. It's really weird. I do not recommend getting pizza from here until they dramatically re-work their recipe. BUT the garlic wings are pretty good. They are very well-seasoned and the skin is perfectly crispy. Some of the wings can be really fatty, which I'm not a fan of, but that may be personal preference. So maybe just skip the pizza and get some wings. read more

Excited to take kids to this location, which I used to think was the best. Used to..... Ordered two rolls, upon paying found out that at this location they charge you 59 cents each for the tiny 2oz portion of sauce the other locations give for free with each roll. As does every other pizza place I've ever been to. Payment went from cash to credit card because of that.... Got home the chicken parm roll was OK, the pepperoni roll had very little pepperoni. Will continue to visit western Ave, Ontario st and Latham locations but unlikely to come back to this location. read more

Delicious pizza. Standard thin crust, not to thin, folds nicely without breaking or sagging. Great pizza sauce (not too sweet or acidic... just right) and good amount of fresh toppings. Dining room not really suited for a meal or lunch for us 'bigger' folk. But would order take-out Pizza here anytime. The white pizza (slices during lunch hour) was a favorite, but a bit on the small size compared to others in the area. For price and taste this is now my go-to lunchtime pizza joint. read more

Just tried this place, and despite my low expectations of a local chain, the pizza was actually pretty good! The dough was the way I like it. My 'crust test' is to fold the slice in half. It shouldn't break at the crease (too thin and crunchy), and it shouldn't flop or droop (too thin, watery sauce, poor gluten structure). Sauce wasn't too sweet or watery, and with the right amount of salt, and cheese was good quality. The slices were a bit too small, though. It probably wouldn't cut into profits too much to make it a bit larger. Usual pizza lunch special is offered: 2 slices + soda = $5.18 after tax. read more

Ordered from Paesans. The positive was they delivered and I purchased one of their specialty pizzas. It was good. They claim to be Brooklyn's Finest. I've know Brooklyn Pizza, I love Brooklyn Pizza. Hey Paesans, you're no Brooklyn pizza. Antipasta was a cheap salad with minimal toppings baked ziti rivaled my high school cafeterias best effort. The calzone was soupy ricotta. I had a coupon, so decided to give them a try. When I bought a cheese pizza the staff were friendly and helpful. The pizza was cooked just right, slighly browned on the edges, and the crust was NYC style but without the taste. The cheese was not stringy, chewy or tasty. Just a bland cheese that was sprinkled sparingly over the top. It's pricey, but a little bigger than most large pizzas. The sauce was bland. That means it was red but flavorless. I can't comment on the pizza at this location yet, but the one in Albany is amazing. So I'm sure it will be great. I can, however, comment on the service. I ordered over the phone and talked to a girl & got a medium extra cheese & a dipping sauce to be delivered. She was conversing with someone in the background about the price and it came to almost $18. Which seemed expensive. I called back & spoke to a guy, the one I think she was talking to. I ended up agreeing to pickup, and after some back and forth going over prices and stuff, which I got from THEIR website, he agreed to $14 & change. That's not my biggest issue, though. The reason this is my first and last call to this location is because the man I spoke with was rude. Not just a little bit rude, either. His attitude was over the top, unnecessarily rude. You could hear it in his voice as soon as he said hello. He acted as if I were interrupting some very important event by calling and asking questions. It wasn't the sound of an exhausted manager, ready to go home for the night or someone who's having an off day. He talked to me like I was someone he seriously did not like and he wasn't afraid to let me know that. I am not one of those people who are a pain to deal with. I'm polite & friendly. I say please, thank you, maam, sir, etc. I was even extra nice while trying to get him to not over charge me by $4 for my order! The pizza is good and so are the Italian dinner dishes. Their manacotti does taste a bit like plastic, and does not taste the same as the stuffed shells (you'd think they would taste the same, pasta and ricotta). The delivery people are a tad creepy, though. read more

This is hands down the only good pizza place this side of the river that's not Troy area. They know it to because the customer service sucks. Only NY style you will find in the direct area until you hit Troy.
