Overflowing with people on a saturday morning, and I can see why. The food is a great price for a great size and quality. My friends and I all got our egg sandwhiches to go after seeing how big they were. I ate about half before having to save the rest for later.

The food and coffee at Paffuto were delicious! We ordered the egg, cheese, and potato panzerotti, an egg and cheese kaiser roll sandwich, a maritozzo, and two drip coffees. I especially loved how lightly sweetened and fluffy the cream in the maritozzo is. The sit down area can feel a bit tight if you're with a larger group or children during peak hours, but the two of us were able to find a seat easily after ordering as the flow of tables moves relatively well.

Went here for the first time after all my friends raving about this spot. It's in south Philly and has some incredible Italian food and sweet treats like maritozzi and panzorotti. Small little spot with indoor and outdoor dining, but the ambiance isn't the star- the food is. I tried some of their specials for the Italian market festival and it blew me away. I had essentially a meatball parm pizza sandwich. It was a light, airy and bubbly pizza crust filled with melty cheese, freshly crushed tomato sauce with some of the best meatballs I've ever had. You fold it like you would a pizza slice and eat it like a sandwich. So. Damn. Good. So simple but the high quality ingredients really shined through. I also have never had meatballs in public that have ever come close to my Italian grandmothers recipe- but these were very very close which speaks volumes to me. Service was incredible as well. I will be back for those desserts for sure. I would have gotten them, but cocco's gelato had a pop up there today so grabbed that instead! (Also my fav gelato in the city!)

1 word : insane. Everything is made with love. This is a secret gem in Philly. Service is great. I always dream about the chicken cutlet. I will come back but wish they had later hours for lunch. If you have the chance don't miss out!

Had a great stop in at Paffuto. We were too late for any pastries but the sandwiches did not disappoint! We shared a vodka chicken jawn that had some beautiful burrata on top and also tasted their broccoli Caesar - incredible, and crispy potatoes, also incredible. Cute little shop, not a ton of tables but some nice local goods also available! Counter service with a smile. Can't wait to come back and try the beef and cheese and Italian sandos

1/2 of the chicken cutlets sandwich. Superburb.

We had three things. The chicken cutlet was just out of this world. We had a pepperoni panzerotti. A mini version of a calzone, but fried crazy good. For dessert, we shared a slice of heaven, the Marritozzi. A light airy pastry with an airy maybe pistachio whipped cream? Straight out of Rome. Very authentic Italian treats the last two. Sam at the register is just a great guy as well, friends with everybody.

I've been dying to try this newer spot and it didn't disappoint. I got the egg and cheese with the hot sauce and it was so perfect. I can't wait to come back to try something for lunch and their sweets! Will definitely be back. Cute space to hang and eat as well!

I have been super intrigued to try this place since it opened and it did not quite meet expectations. It's a cute place with a small exterior and probably about 15-20 seats and a few seats in the window. Service was efficient, but menu was very limited. We tried one of the egg and cheese panzerottis. It was good, but I don't think I'd come back here unless I was in the neighborhood.

I had been dying to try the panzerotti - tried once and they were sold out and tried another time they were doing a special menu only so make sure to get there early and also check their IG to see if they have any special menus. But today I went at 9 am on a Saturday and finally got the egg and cheese panzerotti and it was So worth it! It was hot, delicious and cheesy. And with hot sauce, it was actual perfection! There were a few tables inside and seats by the window, but it was filling up fast by the time we left around 9:30 am. Very cute. And the employees were also really kind and helpful. I got a maritozzi pastry to go and it was also delicious.

I'm too late in checking out this incredible spot! Everything was delicious especially the egg and cheese panzerotti and bombolini. The owner mentioned that they were trying to make the place look like an Italian grandma's house. I certainly felt that with its cozy ambiance! The staff was friendly and attentive. Going back to this again and again, for sure!

What a great addition to South Philly! I stopped in on a Saturday morning to try an Egg and Cheese Panzerotti (scrambled eggs, cooper sharp, and mozzarella). I don't know how they get it so crispy on the outside but so airy and pillowy on the inside. It's pure magic. I can't wait to come back and try some other menu items!

Paffuto is the Italian breakfast joint serving it up! Located in the Italian Market at S 8th St and Kimball St. Open for breakfast and lunch on Wednesday-Sunday. Friendly service! Paffuto's menu includes a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, crispy potatoes, soups, panzerotti, and some nice pastries. PANZEROTTI was crispy, hot and hittin all the right tastebuds! An order of extra, red marinara was perfect. MUSHROOM PESTO is served on a long seeded semolina topped with pesto, Mozz, oyster mushrooms, & roasted red peppers.

    Panzarotti - so good!

So excited to have this place so close! The Maritozzi (a favorite) was large but delicious. Egg and cheese panzarotti is a must. We'll be back for lunch!

Went with a group of about 7 or 8 and it was very difficult to get seating. The time you walk through the door, order your food, and to receive it will take quite a while. By 11:30 on Saturday, they have to stop people from walking in and wait outside until the line inside shortened. For anyone looking for the most authentic Filipino food, this is not the place. With that said, the food is still good. It has a Filipino flare, with a modern, for the masses, feel. Would try the place, but not frequently.

I couldn't make up my mind and decided on a savory and sweet. For my sweet, I got the rhubarb tart. Very delicious! 9/10 really no complaints. For my savory I got the shakshuka. This one was okay. I was more exited to try this one and it was a bit of a let down. Shakshuka is supposed to have seasoning and herbs in it. Garlic, onion, cumin, crushed red pepper flakes, something. It was just straight crushed tomatoes with egg. Additionally, the pastry was a bit overcooked as well and even got a little burnt on the top. Both pastries came out to $19. While the cost of everything is high now I thought this was a lot to spend on 2 pastries. If they were really good I probably wouldn't mind but they were just okay.

It was a super hot night out so we asked to be seated inside and they were able to accommodate us. Apparently inside seating is actually reserved for walk-ins so good to know for those who can't get a Resy! The food was good enough but I think the ambiance of the place and the amazing service really made the experience worth it for me. Definitely don't skip the hanger steak--it's perfectly medium rare and juicy. The tomato toast was flavorful but the toast was pretty thick and hard to bite into especially around the crust, although that might just be a me problem.
