Craved meat jajangmyeong again and had it in the car. I noticed the food wasn't as hot and i don't know if anything changed. It still tasted good but was a bit sad the noodles were a bit cold while the sauce was warm/hot. Asiana food court was also quite empty

We love coming to eat dinner here with the kiddos. It's so relaxing here compared to how busy it is at H-mart. We tried the jjajang bap for the first time and loved it. We also ordered the classic jjangmyeong, sweet and sour chicken, and jjampong. It was all tasty!

Came back a year later bc I forgot what it tasted like lol. Typically I get jajangmyun from Jeong's in H Mart since it's closer to me, but have been disappointed in it lately. This one is located in the Asiana market food court. Spacious area with lots of seats. We thoroughly enjoyed the noodles from Paik's. Big portion, nice and chewy, flavored well. Pieces of pork are tiny so wish there was a bit more protein but it was fine. Sauce leans slightly more sweet than Jeong's. Service is a bit slow but not terrible. We'll def be back!

Paiks inside Asiana.

I really like Paiks. The noodles and fried rices are amazing. I've had several dishes there and I've enjoyed them all. My favorite is the stir-fried jajangmyeon. It's stir-fried noodles with shrimp, squid, and vegetable in a black bean sauce .i also really enjoy the spicy chicken. On cold rainy days, i really enjoy the Jjamppong. It's a spicy noodle soup with pork, squid, mussels, and vegetables. The portions are large. You can share if you haves regular appetite. Expect to take some home if it's just you. You should also get a mandu (dumplings) with your order. If you're in the mood for Korean., Paiks Noodle is a fantastic spot.

Not sure why but I always got Jajangmyeon noodle. I hardly ever find this menu at other restaurants and the noodle here is so tasty. It like a comfort food to me. I will need to try other menus that they have.

Protip: You can probably order anything and it won't disappoint! Highlights: For a food court restaurant, this place is great. The flavors, the noodles, the portion and price - it's all great! Really enjoyed the jajangmyeon and jjamppong. Would go to get them again or try something else too! Lowlights: Maybe more ingredients in the jajangmyeon, but at the price point that it is at, you really can't ask for too much.

Very tasty

The food was delicious and tasty and will always go back when shopping at the Asiana Market in Mesa at Southern and Dobson. It's dine in, but food it picked up at the counter. It's inside the Market with many other restaurants there

The jajangmyeon here definitely hit the spot! I ordered for pickup via Grubhub and my order was ready as soon as I arrived at Asiana. The noodles were the perfect al dente texture, and the sauce was the perfect savory and (very slightly) sweet combo. All of my cravings were satisfied! In my opinion, I much prefer jajangmyeon to Chinese-style black bean noodles because of that slight sweetness of the sauce, and so Paik's Noodle delivered in that regard. My order came with pickled radish, which I didn't seem to need because the flavor of the jajangmyeon was balanced on its own. The only thing I'd change is increasing the noodle-to-sauce ratio, since I had enough sauce left over for about one more small serving. I'll definitely be back for more!

Located on the NE corner of southern and Dobson. This market is located at the north - east corner of the plaza.

This is a really nice Korean market. There are several stores and food places inside. There is a french bakery inside- this was a surprise! It was good. A fun place to go to explore and try Korean food.

#9 Jaengban Jjajang - LOTS of seafood!

As a noodle fan I have not been able to find this flavor for a while and finally succeeded! A delicious spicy flavor. The portion was massive. Absolutely a two-meal dish. And if you like seafood - there is a ton in this dish! Mussels, shrimp, squid in huge servings. If you like noodles and seafood, this is a must. And obviously get your shopping done at Asiana before or after you eat. Maybe even grab a French pastry on your way out the door.

Black bean noodles!
Alicia W.

UGH, I love this place! Black bean noodles in general is one of my favorite foods and I can never find restaurants that have them (but also maybe I'm not looking hard enough). So, whenever I come here I always get the black bean noodles and they never disappoint! I recently came with my family for lunch and we shared the jajangmyeon (black bean noodles), jjamppong (seafood noodle soup), tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), and the gunmandu (fried dumplings). Everything was delicious and especially the noodles! The noodles are always cooked perfectly and soaks up the black bean sauce as well as the broth in the jjamppong. The gunmandu and tangsuyuk were also both delicious but I do feel that the tangsuyuk used to be crispier so they weren't as good as they normally were. However, overall I love this place and am always excited when I get to come back!

This is one of my ALL TIME favorite meals at Paik noodles located inside of Asiana market on Dobson! They also provide you with a side of soup that is a bit spicy with muscles and veggies! It's so delicious and I highly recommend it, can't forget that Coca Cola! Definitely my comfort food!

Seafood noodle soup
Billy B.

Very much ok. I can't describe it any better. The seafood noodle soup was very large and had lots of seafood, noodles, and broth. The flavor was a little on the mild side and I added extra chili powder located at there condiment section to help. The black bean noodle was also very large and the better of the two I ordered. Great amount of meat chunks, very saucy, but a little lacking. I looked towards the complimentary chili powder again and the pickled veggies. Overall it was not terrible but also not something I would go out of my way for.

The staff seemed young and a bit undertrained. They weren't bad, but not particularly attentive either. It was a busy Friday night, which is exactly when stronger management presence would help. - Food overall was good, but nothing stood out as exceptional which is usually a strong point at Korean restaurants. - Bossam didn't come with wraps or sides, which felt like it missed the point of the dish. It lacked that full, satisfying experience I was expecting - Prices felt a bit high for what you get I'll give it another try and update my review after my next visit.

Unfortunately, they no longer allow call-ahead orders for that dish because too many people would place orders and never show up. I do wish they would consider taking payment over the phone since it takes quite a while to prepare. The restaurant gets very busy during both lunch and dinner hours, so patience is key. The staff is often short-handed, but they work hard and are constantly moving to take care of everyone as best they can. They are a bit busy so we had to flag them to come over. We split the army stew. This had sausage, spam, rice cakes, ramen, and kimchi, I believe. Everything was very flavorful and went well with the rice. It's also a pretty big portion for two people and I want to say it was around the ballpark of $30. We got the complimentary banchan (side dishes), which was nice. Our favorite side dishes were the braised potatoes and the spinach. I don't love candied sweet potatoes or potatoes for that fact but these were so soft and tender. There is plenty of parking in the area, which is quite nice. I'll be back here the next time I am in the area.

My friends and I came to this place together because I had been before and liked the Korean food here. Food was legit and was a good experience previously. However, the day we came in, the waitress got my friend's order wrong as my friend wanted the bibimbap but the waitress heard something else and brought out a soup. When my friend immediately told her that isnt what she ordered, the waitress (new) proceeded to argue with my friend. I watched incredulously as things started to unfold. The waitress even asked my friend to pronounce bimbimpap again and told her she should learn how to pronounce it better. She kept arguing wirh my friend and mind you, waitess wasnt Korean or Korean American. At this point, I had to step in, as I also heard my friend say bibimbap clearly. The waitress didnt know what she was talking about and at the same time was being rude as heck to my friend. Then, my other friend shows up and orders a bibimpap. When the bibimpap is brought out, I asked her to bring some gochujang for my friend. I didnt know if my friend would like this chili paste, so wanted her to have the option to try it. The waitress again decided to argue about this and at this point, she was really testing my nerve. She said bibimpap doesn't come with gochujang and I am like thinking are you crazy, woman? I am not Korean but I have been eating Korean food for 30+ years, I know what I am talking about. She then asked me to repeat gochujang several times and I was very annoyed at this point. Its like, look lady, you dont know what youre talking about, stop sticking your foot in your mouth and come on, be nice to your customers! Because of this terrible behavior, I asked to speak to a manager, a woman came over and listened to what happened and apologized and thats how we found out she was new. I was beyond frustrated at this point. Despite the horrible service, I still left a 10% tip, but honestly the waitress deserves zilch and needed more training. The food is solid here but I wont be returning with that kind of behavior, I can choose where my money goes, and these days with it being so hard to get by, good luck to this place as I am not coming back.

We came on a weekday afternoon, so it wasn't busy when we arrived. We got seated within the 10 minutes since they were setting up the tables for us. Ordering is fairly easy since they offer combos depending which meats you like more. Everything we ordered was good quality. My favorite meat cuts were the beef tongue, brisket and the intestines. If you're not into eating inside parts of animals, I would recommend getting the brisket or kalbi cuts. The Banchan (sides) were good too. They had fish cake, kimchi, pickled radish and cucumbers available. We also tried the tofu soup, steamed egg and corn cheese which all came out hot and tasted flavorful. This spot is a-la-carte, so you order off the menu and pay by items. My only downside is that they didn't have rice paper here since I don't really eat the white rice since it fills me up too quickly. Other than that, I would come back here again next time I'm visiting family. Service here was awesome too! We were checked on throughout our whole meal and the servers were friendly.
