They attempted insurance Fraud by telling State Farm that my carpet upstairs had been replaced and it HAD NOT. I caught the mistake, and they tried to lie and claim that it was an ERROR by the office manager... I had to miss work to meet with their workers on several occasions, only to have them not show up and even call to cancel. On top of that they did horrible work and my floor upstairs feels uneven when walking upstairs. They did not caulk and seal around the toilets, baseboards, or entry points. They left the gas running one day, and I had to turn away one of their workers because I smelled gas. The technician with Southwest Gas confirmed that they did indeed leave the gas running. A HUGE SAFETY RISK!! Elite Bros brushed it off as if it was NOTHING... When I tried to rectify the situation with them, they tried to CONTROL me by scheduling appoints on their own without considering I have a ton of other things I am working on. They need to be shut down because who else are they doing this to?

My husband and I are first time home buyers and we wanted to repaint our house! We saw Carlo Rodriguez's CNE painting services and got an affordable quote for our house. Long story short it was the most terrible experience working with him and his crew. He promised us, initially saying that the house would be done in a week and a half- fast forward to OVER A MONTH (5 weeks)- to "complete" our house...and being told every week that it would be done, just for one person to come to the house every other day. Apparently they had appointments every now and then and would tell us only the day of. (Which I really believe to be them working on another house) At some point past the second week, he told us he'd focus solely on our house. Never happened. We now are at a loss. He left our house incomplete (even over the month+ he had his workers show up). Our foyer is messed up due to there careless set up and laying their equipment everywhere-getting paint on everything. They also have never done anything to clean it up. We also asked for our cabinets to be stained. Due to their lack of communication amongst each other and him not prepping his workers- they had to redo our walls, doors, and cabinets several times. As for the walls and doors, we had done a walk through with Carlo as well as write down thoroughly which area is what color. They still had issues communicating that to each other! As for the cabinets, it was hard not having the kitchen for over a month, with wood dust everywhere because they always didn't clean up after themselves for the day. At the end of it all, we have uneven, multicolored dirty cabinets. When we first bought the house, the cabinets were in amazing shape. After Carlo and his team touched it, they managed to destroy the pristine look. They stained the interior of the cabinets and my furniture throughout the house, due to lack of prepping. Again, not cleaning anything up. You'll see on the picture, they sprayed clear coat on top of the cabinets and left it to dry while leaking! So terrible! They also left paint and stain on our new carpet we just installed and in our kitchen sink!!!! WTH!!! Very improper prepping!!!! And if they were going to use my sink I'd be totally fine with it but to stain it and the drain lining!!! Super crazy. My husband also noticed that they weren't unhinging doors, weren't taking out any outlets or anything like that. We decided to do that ourselves. Also the blinds as well!!! Unbelievable. It was worse than a beginner I'm telling you!! They even left new trash everyday in our house and never cleaned it till we said something!! Very very very unprofessional!!! I'm so upset with their work and for ever even trusting them! NOT TO MENTION, during the month+ of working with them, Carlo says that he had an "issue" with Cash App and asked us for $3,000 extra to pay his workers. Because he is a veteran & I trusted her judgement, I disregarded the 1st "red flags" when he came to give us an estimate. ( Last month) Salvatore was very friendly & assured he could take care of our list of needs. He also pointed out other areas in our home that he said needed to be repaired & wanted to add to them to our list. After giving us a "discounted" estimate, he required $300 deposit...CASH ONLY. (At that time, his ad on Yelp listed Credit card & Paypal). We offered Paypal, Zelle & a check. It was night time & we were not going to risk going to an ATM. We asked if we could give him cash the next day but he told us he had to have it right then. (red flag) Our mutual friend wanted us to use him, so she offered to pay him the $300 and we paid her back through Paypal. Day one: Not a big deal for me, but he showed up a hour later than he said he would be here. Even though he knew the measurements ahead of time, he was not prepared to install curtain rods for 120 inch curtains. He wanted to make a "scaffold" out of OUR positional ladder & he needed something solid to put on the ladder so he could stand on it. We had to search around my house & in the garage. He found & wanted to use one of our wooden dog gates! While he waited, I took MY time to rummage through my packed garage & managed to find some wooden slats, behind a lot of stuff that I had to move out of the way. Then he had to take more time to cut the slats to the size he needed. It took him the rest of the day to install 5 curtain rods. So it had gotten too late to have him to start on something else on our list. After Salvatore left, I took a closer look at the rods & saw that he did not install the brackets as I asked him. They are exactly even with the width of the windows, so the curtains will not completely cover the sides. And he damaged some of the walls. When I let him know of this mistake, I realized that he did not have a "soldiers guarantee" as he promised. Not only did he want to charge me extra to fix his error, he blamed it on me, saying that I didn't tell him where I wanted them. I am very picky about things so I know I told him. My error was that I did not check his work while he was installing the rods. Salvatore said he would return Monday or Tuesday. But Monday came & I had to text him to see if he was coming. He hadn't even planned to come. It did not end well between him and I. Through a texted conversation, he said he felt "threatened" (???). because I told him that I was unhappy with his service & also because he had still not provided a receipt or an invoice as he promised each time I asked (we told him it could be handwritten). He then said he was not coming back to finish & we didn't have to pay him the rest of the bill. Why would he think we owed him more money when he never even started on the rest of work we agreed on? Now we have to hire someone else to fix Salvatore's errors & repair the damages he left behind. I have included pictures.

The project was about a month out from start date, but they dropped off all the building materials ahead of time, which was in our master bedroom so that was fun getting around. Project took 7 to 10 days because of weekends and memorial weekend, no biggie. Everyone was professional and pleasant. They even offered to repaint the bathroom for a small fee, but when we needed the shower head raised because my significant other is tall. When they called their manager to for paint approval for a small fee no problem, but the shower head they wanted 385$ just for the shower arm that we got from Amazon for 30$ and installed, but the confusion began during the estimate when Adame said project isn't done until customer satisfied, but that all went out the window apparently when trying to get approval for thr shower head. Overall, did they do a good job, yes. Will I use them again when it comes time to thr kitchen no. I don't know what the going rates are but for yelp reviewers this ran me 13k.
