PaintWork and its owner Nick was recommended to me by my real estate broker as I needed to find someone to patch and paint the walls and ceilings in 11 rooms of our recently purchased town home. After contacting Paint Work they promptly returned my call and we set up a meeting to go over the work. The day of the meeting I was met by Amir, Nicks brother and we went room by room to discuss the work to be done. As the son of a union painter I am very knowledgeable of the proper way to patch and paint having been taught by my father. Well after many questions to Amir on their painting process I was very impressed by Amir's answers and his knowledge of painting and felt I had found a good company to do the job. Amir quickly provided a fair quote by the end of the next day and shortly after that we set a start date with the expectation that it would take 5 to 7 days to finish the job. On the appointed date Amir and his crew showed up on time as promised, and together we went room by room and to go over the work to be done with his lead painter Defrin who did great work. Amir and I then went over all the colors for each room,with Amir making some recommendations on some of the colors and sheens. I was only able to be present on site the 1st day of the job but by the end of the day Amir's team made a lot of progress on the great deal of patching that was required and were able to start painting some of the ceilings. 5 days after starting Amir called me and said they were done. The next day my wife and I went to our townhome to inspect the work and were very impressed with the quality of the patching, painting and cleanup that had been done. I then called Amir as there was a small spot that needed a touch up and within 20 minutes Amir was there with one of his workers to do the touchup. I just want to say Amir, Nick and PaintWork are doing a great job with what I think is the most part of any contracted job which is COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. We hired this painting company with high hopes, but unfortunately, the results have been deeply disappointing. While their quote was competitive, the quality of the work left much to be desired. Three months after the job was completed, we're still discovering sloppy mistakes. Bright peacock blue paint was carelessly applied to our white trim, and the ceiling was left with patchy, uneven coverage. The painters seemed far more focused on finishing quickly than ensuring the work was done properly. Adding insult to injury, we provided all the paint for the project except for one gallon. The painters assured us they could match the color by taking a picture of the code, but the gallon they purchased didn't match. As a result, one of our walls is now an inconsistent patchwork of two shades, and we'll have to repaint it ourselves to make it look acceptable. If you're considering this company, I urge you to think twice. While the initial quote may seem tempting, the lack of attention to detail and disregard for quality will cost you more time, frustration, and money in the long run. If you value the appearance of your home, look elsewhere. read more

Nick provides an estimate (with input on type of paint, wall or ceiling repair, any possible add-ons, etc.) and will set up an agreed appointment time based on YOUR schedule. We purchase a new home in July 2022. Amir and his crew not only assisted us on getting the old house ready for sale but in painting the new one in several stages. Each and every time I deal with Amir and his team, they are polite, on time and honest. My husband had several things he wanted to get his Blackhawk basement just right and they met every one. Later we used them to repaint the main floor and they came back on inspection and saw a line was not quite right - fixed it on the spot. Start to finish great communication and quality work with Nick. Flexibility was key as the coding date on our home got pushed back, and once we got in we realized we wanted a lot more work than originally quoted. This was no problem for Nick's crew, and they painted all rooms and ceilings in a 3000 square foot house in 4 and a half days! We decided to have the whole house painted. The crew at PaintWork and the Owner were EXTREMELY thorough. Since the house was not painted in quite some time, and because we had very old wallpaper in the bathrooms and kitchen, the prep took longer than expected but they were meticulous in making sure that the final product was seamless and beautifully done. NIck responded promptly and gave us a reasonable estimate for interior painting of most of the main level of our home. The crew was prompt and protected and taped off the necessary areas. They moved furniture and were respectful of property. They did patchwork where needed and covered the walls in two coats of paint. The painters were all very professional and took their time. They did not rush through to get done - they took their time.
