Been in NYC two times, each time I've only gone to palace to shop. Don't get me wrong most of the reviews are true in that, the employees seem to keep to themselves (not greet, talk with each other, stand around). I'm all about customer service and I get it especially if you expect that and have received it in your own culture / community. BUT it's NYC people, I kinda know what's up when I come here maybe because I'm from Oakland. I usually just be non chalant about it and go up to them for ask for a size. Today though this guy with specific strong facial structure, and blonde hair with a hat on, helped me and my brother (after the usual experience lol) but I thought it was a cool experience. I guess what I could've said all along was, as much as it isn't ideal, lower your standards and come prepared with an idea of what you want and in typical NYC fashion, give back what they put out. 3 stars because lowkey felt like the last time I came they had more inventory on display. Yo I love the dumb boutique skate shops. I get it, it's palace, supreme but with a British accent or whatever. Clothing is sick, the store, beautiful, but the staff is the absolute worst I've ever encountered in any capacity . They all look cool, unshowered and like they don't have bed frames but the poor mask etiquette is unacceptable. Seeing staff walking around wearing chin diapers is a bummer especially when as a customer you can spend close to 20 minutes in the shop with no one uttering a word except the 3rd party security guard who takes your temperature when you enter. All this being said what do I know cause I still buy this shit so you know 3 stars I guess. read more

We have no Palace store in Hawaii. Getting to finally buy something in-person would've been a great experience. The store looks awesome when you walk in and start browsing, but sadly one of the employees killed the whole vibe. No one talks to you or greets you they kinda just stare at you talk to each other or go on their phones and I'm like "oh well" . With no introduction or particular rules I browse as I would any other store going through the racks and checking folded stacks of clothes for my size without messing anything up. I talked to a guy at the service counter and selected a few items behind the glass display case and told him I was going to buy them but I'm still browsing so "I'll be back" he puts these items on the side. I walk over to some rolled up stacked items right in front of some shirts and a particular color-way catches my eye and I don't know what it is but I might wanna buy it even if it's a jacket or towel. I unstacked them neatly and pick up the one I was interested in and all of a sudden a short brown employee who finally decides to greet me snatches the rolled up item right out of my hand and tells me "you're fuc**ng up the display, if you want to see something you ask bro " and fixes his display stack in one second. I'm standing there amazed at how reachable rolled up cotton with a palace logo is equivalent to an art installment while no signs at all saying do not touch. He begins to bombard me with "well, did you want to see this? what you wanna check out?" Staring at me with bulging eyes and all the attitude he could muster. Still with no clue what that rolled up item is I simply wave my hand "no I'm good actually" gather my two friends who are shopping inside also and ask them if we can leave and we did without purchasing anything. Such a bummer. Now I'm going home with clothes from every streetwear store in Manhattan except Palace smh. read more

I had to engage an associate holding up the wall to inquire about a hat I saw available online, he waved his hand and said "whatever we have is there". We took the subway to SoHo for some shopping. We hooked up here and found the lines down the block. However, it moved quickly. Once inside the vibe was totally hip. Activity was brisk. The staff was attentive and courteous. We purchased some great stuff! Afterwards, we took Uber back to our hotel. Didn't want to stand on the streets or ride subway with our rare goods. read more

Worst customer experience. The employees basically said the price of the item we bought, and no thank you, no nothing. I touched a shirt that was on a platform They instantly came with an attitude saying 'you can find that in the back' and redid the shirt I touched, note that it was a shirt in a normal shopping area not like visual displays in the window. I get this is a cool skateboard brand with its unique aesthetic, but treating people like shit doesn't encourage shopping in store. read more

I visited here a couple of times on my previous visit to NYC. Getting in the store is very similar to Supreme but the line definitely isn't as long. I recommend anticipating waiting in line. The store itself is really cool and only carries the clothes in season from the most recent drop. I was able to get a cool few items. If you want any of the hype pieces, you most likely will not get them on just a random visit to the store. Overall staff is much nicer than Supreme Lafayette and there is a lot more space. read more

Stupidly unorganised company. Ordered a sweatshirt from them to which the website photo looked yellow, only to receive an orange sweatshirt. Maybe if they actually described the colour on the website instead of trying to be quirky and write about brexit on the descriptions. Now waiting on a refund which was quoted at 2-3 (which the standard is meant to be 5-7days, so false claims) but has now been 15 days. Phoned bank to be told numerous customers have complained about them recently as they are telling folk different times for refunds. Some up to a year! Shambles of a company. That's a very terrible store I have never seen, one days ago when I step by,I saw the clothes hang up there which is I really want , but at that time the store was closed and I have to come back for it, so, I go to the store very early this morning just for that clothes, I double check it if the clothes still there and luckily it is. The store was open at 11am and the last 15 mins to 11am, one of the employee saw me and they seems like they know what I want and bring the clothes back to the room. When I came in, I ask for it and they said they didn't have it and after I keep asking, they change their saying that he already bought it for his sister, so they can't sell it to me. And at that time , the very mean female employee was laughing at me, I didn't get any respect from them , which is very ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with the company or clothing, however, the staff is not very kind or helpful. They are more concerned at keeping the clothes looking perfect than showing respect to their shoppers. For instance, a man was not very kind to us when we were trying to put a piece of clothing back on the rack because apparently we weren't doing it right and he made it very clear that he was unhappy with how we were doing it. Also, we watched him do the exact same thing to a younger man who was just trying to look at the prices of clothing, but since he was "messing up the display", he was unhappy once again. I'd recommend finding another palace store if you want to buy their clothing. read more

My partner and I had discovered the shop by surprise. While I had nothing but a pleasant experience in the store and the employees took time to find something for me (I am a woman and this is a men's clothing shop) I am very saddened by the quality of the products. I spent 50$ on a hat, wore it once, and the adjustable strap snapped off from the base of the hat. I had one faulty item which I returned after numerous emails and indifferent attitudes from "customer service" the faulty clothing item which cost £100 was returned to me with basically a tough luck - disgusting customer service. Had a good experience here last month. Granted it was not on a 'drop' day or a day with heavy foot traffic. I actually found a shirt that had sold out online and had a nice exchange with the employee. I like the clothing as it seems to be a bit more whimsical and graphics oriented than some of the other nyc 'streetwear' labels. Will visit again. read more
