These guys were super friendly to me and my 10-year-old daughter who needed her board repaired. No attitude at all.

After making the 65-minute trek to Bay Ridge, I can confidently say that Panda Sports deserves its unique status. The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell and passionate about their work. They maintain the classic family ski shop vibe found in New England ski towns, but with a uniquely Brooklyn personality. I had the pleasure of working with Duke. I brought in a pair of boots for retrofitting that were a full size too small. We had a straightforward conversation about the necessary augmentations for the boots and discussed the cost-to-success ratio. After two days of work, despite the odds not being in my favor, Duke managed to make enough room in my boot for a perfect fit (albeit a little snug, but that's to be expected). During those two days, it became clear to me that for the team at Panda Sports, this kind of work is a craft. This is a refreshing change from typical employees who are just working a job to sell you a product they aren't confident in. For as long as I stay in the city, wherever in the city that may be, when I need ski equipment, I will make that trek again. (My suggestion to any new patrons coming in, be honest with yourself and with them about your abilities and your knowledge. If you put your trust in them they will be very helpful)

They treat you like gold and never try to sell you something just to make a sale. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and has been there for years. Date of visit: April 13, 2026…read more I have long appreciated the mission of Patagonia and thought that someday I will splurge on one of their items, like a vest. As we don't have any stores back home, I was intrigued when we came upon this store in Williamsburg. Note that I said "intrigued," and not "I purchased something," as I still could not wrap my mind around the prices and that "someday" was still not "this day." Staff didn't really interact with us (maybe they knew we're too poor to buy anything) but I didn't mind the opportunity to look around in peace and give my eyebrows a workout with each price tag I flipped over. The Sale rack was laughable in both the discount and the paltry selection of items available, but you better believe I looked at it anyway! The store was in great condition, too--not that that is a great shock given the average cost of an item. Someday, Patagonia, someday!

Believe it or not i found a parking spot in front of the store which was amazing considering I had my infant. The moment we walked in they had an umbrella stand which was perfect because it was extremely rainy that day. We were welcomed by the staff and they told us there was an elevator with a kid section which was nice to see because I have a newborn son and a 6 year old daughter. However, we decided to get two sundresses instead that were amazing quality and so nice. The store is so nice and well decorated. The furniture is so comfortable that was I even able to feed my son there in peace. I would definitely return when I have extra money to splurge on nice good quality clothing.

It arrive today and there's absolutely no way it's a medium--I couldn't get my arms through it. I asked someone who wears a small to try it on and they couldn't either. It has to be women's sizing. Finally, it was advertised with a full price of $800, making the discount I received seem sizable. The full price on the garment tag shows it as $500, not $800. Just incredibly disappointed with my whole experience and will never shop here again.

For the stock that was available - waited over a month with no arrival, contacted the carrier but was referred to the 'sender' as the shipping label was created but the item was still awaiting. Meaning the stock was potentially lost sometime in-between leaving the store and arriving at the post office. Tried to avoid leaving a review but am receiving minimal clarity in their email responses. Slowly accepting will probably have to accept the loss. 10/10 will never shop here again. Hopefully Quiet Mountain Cafe will choose an alternative store to release through next time. Appalling.

On my Giant, they found a backwards jockey wheel, but I was also charged for derailleur adjustments multiple times and later learned the actual front shifting issue was a bent chainring. At one point it was suggested that I might not be shifting correctly, but the problem turned out to be mechanical. They also adjusted my saddle and stripped the bolt in the process. After multiple visits and additional issues, I lost confidence in the quality and completeness of the work.

Instead of helping, he gave me attitude and sarcastically asked, "What's 700C?" Before I could answer, I clarified my tire is 27 1/4. He then rattled off a bunch of other sizes before finally going to the back to get one. When he returned, he handed me a single tube, priced at $10. I asked if there were other brands or options, and again, more attitude. He told me it's all rubber anyway and questioned why I even cared. At checkout, I gave him cash and asked if he needed anything else. He said I owed him 88 cents, so I gave him a dollar, and he threw the change into my hand so carelessly that it bounced off and fell onto the counter. No apology, no decency. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. There are plenty of other bike shops where the staff will treat you with basic respect, actually help you, and not act like you're bothering them by being there.
