After making the 65-minute trek to Bay Ridge, I can confidently say that Panda Sports deserves its unique status. The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell and passionate about their work. They maintain the classic family ski shop vibe found in New England ski towns, but with a uniquely Brooklyn personality. I had the pleasure of working with Duke. I brought in a pair of boots for retrofitting that were a full size too small. We had a straightforward conversation about the necessary augmentations for the boots and discussed the cost-to-success ratio. After two days of work, despite the odds not being in my favor, Duke managed to make enough room in my boot for a perfect fit (albeit a little snug, but that's to be expected). During those two days, it became clear to me that for the team at Panda Sports, this kind of work is a craft. This is a refreshing change from typical employees who are just working a job to sell you a product they aren't confident in. For as long as I stay in the city, wherever in the city that may be, when I need ski equipment, I will make that trek again. (My suggestion to any new patrons coming in, be honest with yourself and with them about your abilities and your knowledge. If you put your trust in them they will be very helpful)

We were welcomed by the staff and they told us there was an elevator with a kid section which was nice to see because I have a newborn son and a 6 year old daughter. However, we decided to get two sundresses instead that were amazing quality and so nice. The store is so nice and well decorated. The furniture is so comfortable that was I even able to feed my son there in peace. I would definitely return when I have extra money to splurge on nice good quality clothing.

Meaning the stock was potentially lost sometime in-between leaving the store and arriving at the post office. Tried to avoid leaving a review but am receiving minimal clarity in their email responses. Slowly accepting will probably have to accept the loss. 10/10 will never shop here again. Hopefully Quiet Mountain Cafe will choose an alternative store to release through next time. Appalling.

On my Giant, they found a backwards jockey wheel, but I was also charged for derailleur adjustments multiple times and later learned the actual front shifting issue was a bent chainring. At one point it was suggested that I might not be shifting correctly, but the problem turned out to be mechanical. They also adjusted my saddle and stripped the bolt in the process. After multiple visits and additional issues, I lost confidence in the quality and completeness of the work.

He said I owed him 88 cents, so I gave him a dollar,and he threw the change into my hand so carelessly that it bounced off and fell onto the counter. No apology, no decency. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. There are plenty of other bike shops where the staff will treat you with basic respect, actually help you, and not act like you're bothering them by being there.

Recently signed up for a bus trip through OVR and decided to venture to bk and check out the shop for some new gear. I had never been there so I wasn't really sure what to expect asides from the skateboarding basics but was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually had a decent amount of women's gear. Checked out some boards, tried on some outerwear and just talked up the guys working. Ended up buying some gloves for myself and even got some early Christmas presents for my boyfriend. Everyone was really helpful and seemed more than knowledgeable about the product in the store. Overall good vibe, good service and good stuff in there. I then go to charge battery and find that they sent an old style charger, not the one that the manufacturer shipped with the bike to them. I went out and purchased one locally and now and even though they promised to reimburse me, they are not answering my emails. If you decide to buy from them, only buy if you can test ride and inspect. Do not purchase if it has to be shipped. Buyer beware.

I wanted to spend more money and get the other model and Damon told me that it wasn't worth it for additional $1K. Any business owner would've said Yes, buy the expensive one for my margin but he was honest and he literally cared for me. Buyer Beware - Poor Warranty Service from Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle…read more Review: I purchased a Magicycle Deer Step-Over electric bike from Greenpath Electric Bikes (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2024. Less than a year later, the battery and display completely failed. Despite the bike being under full manufacturer warranty, I have been stuck for weeks in endless delays, conflicting information, and finger-pointing between Greenpath and Magicycle. Magicycle demanded shipping fees that were never disclosed at purchase and dismissed the serious battery issue without proper testing. Greenpath refused to intervene to resolve the situation and ultimately informed me that they would no longer service my bike -- despite selling me the product with a warranty. Throughout this process, Greenpath was unprofessional, slow to respond, and offered no loaner bike or real support while I was left without transportation to work. I gave them every opportunity to correct the situation privately. Their final communication confirmed that they have no intention of standing behind the products they sell. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding both Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle.

I called the shop to let them know about my interest, and by the time I got there they had everything all set out. It took them 15 minutes to set up my board with trucks, wheels and tape- and then I was out the door! They were also teaching a little boy how to skate board at the time, and with the parents there they were really nice, honest, and up front about their son's lessons. My eight-year-old is a cautious, nervous boy and I am so moved and overjoyed by the way Hunter (and other teachers, they're all great) has patiently, gently, kindly dealt with his tears when he was afraid, felt glee when he braved a scary move, like riding on a ramp. Hunter, of course, keeps him safe, physically, but also has an amazing way of pushing him to do more than he thought possible. Yes, my boy is learning to skateboard. But he's also learning so much more.

He got on the machine himself which made me feel like he wanted a full understanding of the problems. He is fantastic. I don't know what he did but he knows what he is doing!
