Wow . Decided to stop here after looking at a jewelry piece someone posted . Come to find out it wasn't ready to purchase . The owner was able to make it for me in an hour or so !! . I am from out of town so I appreciated his efforts in making the piece with little notice . Honestly don't waste your time going into the other stores nearby . His attentiveness and attention to detail set this place apart from the rest . The staff was friendly , things were organized and the price I was quoted was even better than I imagined . Came here for my birthday and left a happy customer will be returning for the holidays if not I can order and have it mailed ! . The place accepts card but parking is hard to find so beware . this is my second nameplate necklace from here. I really like their work on custom pieces. When I arrived my name was not exactly as I wanted, they offered to fix it, I was iffy on the correction but the woman told me she would not let me leave with it unless I was entirely happy with it. They redid it for me and I picked it up the next day. It came out lovely, I was so happy with the end result. Thank you for your customer service and patience with me.

Ramin is the best! And his mother as well. Went in with my best friend for quotes on diamonds and gold. He was very honest and informative. We went to 2 other places and compared the prices and Ramin's by far the best priced. He took his time to examine the details of the jewelries and he even educated us on the different grades and to make sure we get GIA certified to keep the value. And his staff were so friendly as well. We were treated like VIP clients. They offered us something to drink, spent many hours with us and were such a delight to talk to! 3 adjectives to describe Palacio De Oro. 1) Honest 2) Generous 3) Reasonable. Brought my 14K white gold chain here and was given a better price than any other sell-gold-for-cash places around the greater LA area. This place offers even offers a better deal than GoldFellow.com, which is the leading and most legit online gold buyer. Ramin and his mother carefully explained to me how they came up with the price quote and even encouraged me to learn about the calculations myself and ask other stores for price quotes. They gave me the best offer and in less than 10 mins (DTLA parking is too expensive), I was out the door with lots of cash in my pocket! Highly recommend this place! read more

Nice ladies. I did my research and weighed my necklace at home on my scale and knew what to expect. I didn't go to other shops to compare offers because I thought it was fair, but I also wasn't looking to squeeze every penny out of my necklace just get rid of it. So it was a pleasant experience. I still wanted more than what he gave me, but as I said, it was the BEST of all my offers. I'm extremely satisfied with his level of professionalism. Small little place that easily stands out, honest and friendly staff. Went in to sell a small bracelet and a ring, tried getting an estimate from "gold buying places" and they gave me a pretty crappy estimate. Came here and right off the bat the owner gave me a fair estimate if everything was ok with the gold, tested it in front of me, everything checked out and gave a me more than I was hoping for. Coming to Placio De Oro was one of the best decision I made. I needed to sell my gold, and after reading all the great reviews I decided to go to Placio De Oro. I admit I was a bit worried that I wouldnt get a good deal or get ripped off, but Ramon was very sincere and honestly seemed like a great guy. Please keep in mind, at the time of the quote, gold was valued at $5100 per ounce and when I visited, it dropped to $4600 per ounce. I came in, and was told it would be $400-$450 because my total carat weight was in actuality 1.58. I let them know about the estimate I received, to which she angrily said, this is why I hate it when they do online quotes, because people don't know what sizes they have. And then she also got upset because she doesn't know who gave me the quote because of the way Yelp profiles are set up. My mistake for the sizing, but it's not even a full 1/10th of a carat weight. An extra $100 for 0.08. I would understand an increase relative to the weight, had it been 2 total carat weight, that's completely reasonable at half a carat per $100. She said it costs $200 to source the settings, and it doesn't include the labor to polish and clean the item. She started stuttering when she was trying to justify the pricing, so I knew she was lying. A quick google search tells you differently, and they have access to warehouse pricing, so let's be real, she chose to arbitrarily charge more because she felt like it. I left and went with another local jeweler, where they gave me the exact same setting for $300. Don't take what they tell you at face value, do your own research, and make sure you don't get swindled by this business trying to take advantage because they think you don't know any better.

Watch came back after almost 2 months on 1/30/26 with case tool markings and scratches. E/mailed Kevork upset, he responded immediately and apologized for returning the watch with these flaws unnoticed. To his credit, Kevork responds almost immediately to e-mails and is excellent with timely communication. He e-mailed a pre-paid return packing slip, apologized for sending back my watch in such condition, and promised to work on it so it comes back as good as new. Watch was received the second time by Time Tec on 2/5/26. It came back today, 3/9/26 after a little over a month turn around time. Kevork delivered as he promised, the pictures speak for themselves. I would rather he did it right the first time, but I'm really grateful my experience with Kevork and Time Tec ended on a positive note. If you're on Yelp right now looking for a jewelry shop to go to... This is the one. I promise you. I'm the type of person that uses Yelp for every business I'm looking for.. I used Yelp and looked for a jewelry shop near me and this shop had the best reviews.. I read through the reviews and it seemed EVERYONE had something great to say about the staff and just the whole shop... And now I know why... They are the sweetest people. Ramin is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I didn't feel like I was being scammed or hustled like I normally due when I go into jewelry shops.. The staff is so professional and just really great people. Ramin is the nicest guy. He's so upbeat and genuinely cared about people and that's just rare nowadays. I highly recommend this shop. If you want the best deal for your dollar this is definitely the place to go! I was pleasantly surprised the first time I came by the store, not only was the jewlery affordable it was also very good quality, once you see for yourself you won't want Ti go anywhere else to by gifts for your loved ones and the prices are so reasonable, you won't mind squeezing in a little something for yourself while your at it. Anothe great aspect you must appreciate about this place is there service...their employees are not your typical ignorant downtown "sorry can't help you" or "sorry that's store pOlicy" Kind of service....they are very nice an welcoming and more importantly very helpful in meeting your needs, whether your buying jewlery or otherwise. I broke my chain in like three different places and I needed it fix asap. I made a call to this place and they told me they can fix it in a hour. The hour passes and I come back and not only did they fix they also upgraded my broken pieces with newer and bigger pieces. It looked better than the original and the total was only 50$.
