I also had to tell her they let me sit over 30 minutes without even checking to see if I needed water when the pitcher was walked around the room. The customer service team member initially advised there was no manager available. When I got ready to leave she sent a friend that looked like she was just clocking in. My sponsor ordered familiar Shrimp Biryani which did not turn out to be just standard. I ordered a noodle soup Thukpa a Tibetan dish with cabbage, carrots and spinach and protein of chicken. For a side we ordered Naan. My sponsor needed to cool her Biryani sauce. I found the Thukpa a refreshing and new flavor. The staff were very nice and attentive. The acoustics were hard to work around and maintain a pleasant conversation.

The chili momo was a no-go for me since it was mixed with ketchup, making it too sweet and overpowering. The rest were just okay, not bad, but lacking flavor. The wrap is too thick and the two achars (red chili and regular momo achar) were also pretty average. I also tried the jhol momo, but again, the momo wasn't juicy or flavorful, and the achar was just mid. Dining in didn't change much from my takeout experiences. Service was great and the restaurant itself is nice but the momos aren't it. I'll probably try other dishes next time instead.

I appreciated the recommendations and adjusted spice levels on the menu. I went with the chicken tikka masala (medium level) that came with complimentary basmati rice and had butter naan. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and flavorful and paired well either the warm buttery naan. The spice level wasn't as hot as I thought, so I'll get hot level next time. The prices are comparable with local Indian restaurants. Since Palate is located in a shopping center, parking can be limited, however there are plenty of places to park. We enjoyed our food and time here and look forward to returning.
