    Closed buffet at lunch
    Dee B.

Was hoping for a nice buffet, but was disappointed in the selections. Only 3 people at lunch time including myself may have been the reason. Not at all like the pictures posted 3 months ago. Might be better to not have a buffet if it's this limited. The flavors and taste were nice and authentic. No butter chicken- if its your go too. I would order for take out but never the buffet again. $17 was crazy for such minimal items. (See photos) I liked the Saag Chicken, Murg Mahkni, and lamb meatballs. Everything else was blah. You can't see the restaurant from the road, it's hidden behind Walgreens which may also contribute to the minimal buffet. The interior was average and looks like it's been around a while. Staff was very nice. But, I did like the seasonings and flavors.. enough to try take out next time.

First time trying Indian food and it was GREAT! We had the veggie chowmein, garlic naan, chili dumplings, and buttered chicken- all so good. The waitress was so nice explaining the menu. Very clean place too.

Saw this across the street from Walgreens and decided to try it out. Very large inside! But very welcoming. Cute little lady at the front was super friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING. I have recommended it to all my friends and we are planning to attend one of their buffets soon. I got butter chicken, spice level hot, and it was SOOOO GOOD. This is now my top place for butter chicken and I'm so excited to try more items on their menu. Loved this place!!!

I Just left the Indian kitchen incredible! The buffet to go is the best ! I was able to get a variety of different foods. All are delicious while I devour my (1/2) plate. They are generous and explained dishes I didn't know. I love butter chicken but, they didn't have it on the buffet. The kind food server explained they had Murg (?) chicken instead. I fell in love with it yum!! The best Indian food delicious!

Dropped in on the Indian Kitchen for a quick lunch. It was definitely fast and the quality of the food and service was very good. We were greeted by a nice young man that got us started and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good. We did the lunch buffet and the quality was good. You can tell all the food was homemade and was made with love. The chicken marsala and butter chicken was very good with a little hint of spice. The tandoori chicken was also great. The curries and the soups were good as well. There was a hot basket of Nan waiting for us at the table. Good quite joint that allowed us to enjoy our conversation. Very good food with good atmosphere that does not sacrifice quality with speed. Recommended

Finally tried this gem and yum! We started with chicken pakora (fried chicken bites) which were perfectly crispy and tender on the inside. They come with an assortment of sauces to put on including the mint chutney green sauce which is my favorite. We ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken kadahi with bell peppers and onion and then a mixed veggie dish. Everything came out so delicious!! We can't wait to come back. The owners were so awesome- they came to make sure we were happy, they shared stories about other restaurants they've opened and their travels dancing! Can't recommend enough!

What days is there an evening buffet?

I am answering on 9/25/2022. I went to the restaurant in very high anticipation of a Sunday night buffet. They DO NOT have an evening buffet on ANY day of the week. I should have called first to confirm. They gave the pandemic reasoning for…

What is the price of the week day lunch buffet and the Sunday dinner buffet?

It’s about $11 for the weekday buffet. I haven’t been to the Sunday dinner buffet but I’m pretty sure it’s about $13-$14.

Unfortunately, something seems to have changed over the last six months to a year. The portions have gradually gotten smaller, and the sauces taste noticeably different. When we asked about it once, we were told it depends on who's cooking that day, which is understandable, but the inconsistency became hard to ignore. The smaller portions, however, have been quite consistent. Toward the end of our visits there, it felt like we were getting mostly sauce with very little meat, which is disappointing for a place we used to rave about. We've eaten here 3x now, and it's always great tasting food. But the service was really slow, while only just two tables had diners. ( us and another couple) then a few to go orders while we waited . Yes, it's Christmas Day holiday so I can be forgiving with being slow. I get that, but ... The thing that rubbed me wrong the most was the waitress only wanted to bring one togo container for all 4 four plates of food . Like we were just going to slap it all together like pig slop. We had to specifically ask for four seperate containers. They also brought one foil wrap for the leftover Naan for two couples . So we mixed ours with our daughter and her boyfriend . Needless to say we didn't get any of it . I'd go back, but they surly need to train the waitress better. Maybe, it's a tradition in India to not have ice with a water, but is a little off-putting especially when the drink menu is so limited . It's a small place only for accommodating small parties. The dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired.

We chose the garlic Naan bread and tomato Shorba for appetizers. The soup was extremely hot so we had to let it cool but the first taste was spectacular! I loved it. Not too spicy and had a little creamy texture that was very tasty. The Naan bread was a HUGE plate and we ended up taking 1/2 of it home. It was hot, fresh and really good flavors! Some of the best I've experienced. For our entrees I had the Indo Chinese Hakka with chicken and it was AMAZING! I loved every bite. The noodles are thin and the spices were perfect. The chili momo was a no-go for me since it was mixed with ketchup, making it too sweet and overpowering. The rest were just okay, not bad, but lacking flavor. The wrap is too thick and the two achars (red chili and regular momo achar) were also pretty average. I also tried the jhol momo, but again, the momo wasn't juicy or flavorful, and the achar was just mid. Dining in didn't change much from my takeout experiences. Service was great and the restaurant itself is nice but the momos aren't it. I'll probably try other dishes next time instead.

Unfortunately, the jhol achar completely ruined the experience. Before tasting it, I poured it over the momo, and that was a mistake. It smelled off right away and tasted even worse, like it had been sitting too long or improperly stored. I genuinely felt sick and couldn't finish my food. I did call and spoke to the manager, who apologized and offered a replacement, which I appreciated. But it was late, and I wasn't about to drive back, so I just let them know about the issue. It was really disappointing, especially when you're counting on a good meal late at night. They seriously need to be more careful about the quality and freshness of their achar in takeout orders, it can make or break the entire meal.

The guy asked us if we wanted to refill our sodas multiple times. Table was clean. Again I stand by my recommendation of going for the Mongolian grill which is in the back. You'll at least have one plate of fresh food and some protein. I always have one when I go here. They accept cash tips. I usually get the noodles, shrimp, green bell peppers, eggs, mushroom, oil, garlic, pineapple etc. maybe skip onions since sometimes it has that weird smell or taste. I always finish my Mongolian plate. Everything else can be hit or miss. I liked the egg drop soup more this time and I didn't notice the wonton chips being stale. No salt needed. Maybe they do read the reviews! Reminder to skip the green onions as they're a bit strong. The corn was also more palatable this time than last. The cream cheese wontons are usually a hit for me. Most of the other Chinese food was okay this time. A lot of the chickens and stuff were a bit hard. The Mac and cheese wasn't too bad. For dessert I did get the apple pie with a little vanilla ice cream. I saw some Bavarian cream stuff that was nice. Got some fruit. I followed one of their fortune cookie advice and I feel like it was very nice. However I think I found a fortune cookie that was just a cookie and no fortune cause I went to go read his but there was no paper in there. Very surprising. Overall, I wouldn't expect too much it's not supposed to be a fancy buffet. Very casual, stick to the good stuff since the prices are very low and only try the other things to see if it's good.
