We never received an estimate. I guess the job was too small or too hard. We needed help to install a bathtub. They did send someone to my house and the person was really nice and said they will have an estimate for me the same day. It's been 3 weeks and I still do not have an estimate. They never responded to my emails. If you do not want to help me install my bathtub, just let me know. And i will move on to the next contractor. read more

My wife and I have been wanting to remodel our kitchen since we bought our house 10 months ago but we were getting ridiculous quotes from different companies. When Felipe came to the house to do an estimate I was expecting someone to just come and do some measuring and get back to me with a quote the next day. When Felipe showed up he measured our countertops, measured the cabinets, asked what we were looking for, and when we said we weren't completely sure he even started giving us ideas. He invited us to his showroom and we started looking at different combinations from cabinets all the way down to hardware. Felipe stayed under our budget and even helped us out on some extras that we wanted. From start to finish was a little over two weeks of work. Felipe's team is very professional and friendly and they always clean up after they finish up the days work. They never leave your house messy for you to deal with. Felipe has connections to basically anything you could want in your kitchen. We even had asked about cutting board countertop for the island and initially he didn't have a company he worked with for that, but halfway through the project he signed on with a company and asked us if we were still interested in the cutting board (before installing the granite of course). Overall our experience with Felipe and his Palazzo team was outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone and actually have recommended them to friends. Felipe and his office and crew were really fabulous. They did 2 bathrooms in our home in about 3 weeks. I loved the one stop shopping offered in his beautiful facility which includes showrooms. What was really impressive was that he always called me back promptly and was so easy to work with. All of the references I called were so positive with nothing but good things to say about him and his company. There was one setback; when the cabinet was opened to be installed, they discovered it was damaged but they reordered it and it arrived the next day,I believe. I really can't say enough great things about the Palazzo team. We worked with them on a kitchen remodel, and weren't sure what to expect (it was our first remodeling project). The work consisted of moving a window opening, closing up another window, installing a new gas line, moving plumbing, upgrading our electrical panel, adding a subpanel, all new cabinets, recessed lighting, countertops, and drywall refinishing. There was a lot to do, but Felipe's very detailed bid laid it out piece by piece. His estimates on time and costs proved to be right on. His crew was kind, clean, professional -- and they did really great work. We were amazed at how clean they left the house everyday too. We had expected a lot of dust and disorder, but instead arrived home everyday to a house that looked clean and undisturbed. Felipe also had great advice on some other changes we're looking at for down the road. Kiersti is absolutely wonderful. She knows so much about design and is extremely friendly and willing to help you out with anything. She informs and recommends without being pushy in any way. She let me take my tile samples home for both my bathroom and my kitchen so that I could see everything with my own lighting, and was just an all around pleasure to work with. One of the things that I absolutely LOVE about this store is that there are prices on everything when you walk around- you don't have to take every single item to the front and have them check the price on each one, like the place down the street from here. It's been a satisfying experience working with the team at Palazzo. We had them do a complete remodel of a powder room which included the installation of a window. Kiersti's decorating and design expertise was invaluable in the selection of sanitary appliances, wall paper and tile. Ordinarily this would have been a stressful process for me. Arturo did most of the work - cleanly, quietly and superbly. Several weeks after the project was completed I noticed a small leak on a toilet connection. Arturo came out on the same day I called and corrected the minor problem. Kiersti followed up with a phone call to make sure all was well. Palazzo Kitchens and Baths has just completed my master bathroom remodel. I got my initial impression of their business when I walked in for the first time. I was greeted by Felipe before the door even closed behind me, and he spent the next 45 minutes giving me an overview of their services. Considering that I had no appointment and was merely investigating possibilities, I was impressed that the owner of the company was so generous with his time. Felipe assigned Kiersti to be the designer for my project and she was a pleasure to work with. She had great ideas, was good at "handholding", very responsive to my requests, a good communicator, and prompt in getting back to me when I had questions. I also really appreciated her honesty in providing input when I asked for her opinion. I have worked with designers on prior projects who clearly just wanted to please and wouldn't give a candid opinion when I asked "Is this too.....(big, small, square, round, high, low, whatever)". A professional is valuable because they've seen lots of ideas brought to life, so it's important to work with someone who will prevent the client from making a mistake. Still, it's also very difficult to avoid offending a client while providing such feedback. Sensitivity, tact, and gentle guidance are essential, and Kiersti does that very well. I couldn't have asked for more. Alan was the primary construction guy. He arrived early each morning, but waited in his truck until I opened the garage door to go to work. That was his signal that I was up, dressed, and ready for him to come in to start his day. Construction is messy business, but he cleaned up and neatly stacked his equipment each afternoon. And he clearly takes pride in his work. Arturo was the project manager. That job calls for a lot of oversight, a remarkably diverse set of skills, and the willingness to jump in at a moment's notice to tie up a loose end. He performed his role very well. Many other people contributed to the project. I don't know their names, but I'd like to compliment the fellows who did the marble templating and cutting, and Jorge who laid the floor tile. Poorly matched "veining" in marble is an eyesore, and they did a wonderful job on countertop, floor, and shower. The final result is beautiful and I appreciate all of the folks at Palazzo for bringing my vision to life. Remodeling projects take over your life for many months: researching design ideas, selecting an endless array of products (cabinets, sinks, faucets, marble, tile, mirrors, door pulls, shower doors, etc.), and suffering through weeks of dust and disruption. We did a lot of research as we prepared for our full kitchen remodel. I was not only impressed by the great reviews but also appreciated the service, so we hired Palazzo. Victor did an excellent job listening to our goals and came up with a great design that exceeded our expectations. After removing all the tired old cabinets we discovered a lot of water damage. I diligently got 3 estimates and felt relieved to find Palazzo as their salesperson came to my house to measure/see what needed to be done and then I followed up with looking at their products in a well designed showroom, all without high pressure tactics. When the project started everything went smoothly and everyone that handled my issues were professional, courteous and able to price things fairly. Had one glitch after installation complete and Felipe saw to it that I was a satisfied customer. While we didn't ultimately use Palazzo for our kitchen remodel, I was very pleased with the design recommendations provided by Odie. Odie came out shortly after calling to make an appt. for an estimate and within 48 hours provided drawings of 2 different kitchen layouts. He drafted up a plan we had not even given consideration to and are very pleased with our new kitchen layout. We have visited the store once in person and appreciated the kid's play area so we could shop while our toddler was occupied. Prices of tile and quartz was higher than other suppliers we visited. read more

The final product of our bathroom renovation was beyond expectations. It was showroom quality. All aspects of the project were conducted with us, the customer in mind. There was constant communications between the team and us, as the project progressed through every phase. Schedules were closely met and there was little or no cost overrun. The materials were exactly as we selected and well within the budget that was projected. Any objections we noted (and there were few) were addressed and corrected immediately. As for the crew that did the work, WOW! Their attention to detail and commitment to the job were unsurpassed. Always cooperative and never a discouraging word. Mannie the main construction person was such a nice individual and did a yeomen's effort. He adds a significant contribution to Palazzo and defines the company. George, who did the tile was an artist. Artero the PM was there to guide the work, answer questions and ensure the high standard Palazzo promised. Odie the representative/designer worked so diligently with great patients to give us the bathroom we imagined. Apprehension and renovations go together. We went into Palazzo over three weeks ago to inquire about getting a quote for our kitchen. They set someone up to come out on January 12 to do measurements and get ideas of what we wanted. Ody showed up on time, however that was the end of my great experience. I have not ever recieved a quote a call or anything. I did call the next week and was told by him that he would have it to me by the end of the week. It has been almost three weeks now and nothing. We made it clear we wanted things rushed as we were informed that the lead time for the cabinets would be 4 to 5 weeks. Still nothing!!! We ended up going somewhere else literally around the corner from the showroom. Our kitchen will be done in the next week. We had $18,000 to spend on the kitchen we really wanted and had such high hopes with Palazzo. Very disapointed!! read more

What can I say - I have been renovating my house for two years now and though I am doing most of the work myself, I need to hire contractors to do certain things that I just can't do. Kitchen counter-tops is one of those items. I deeply researched and interviewed many fabricators in the Bay Area and finally settled on Palazzo. Felipe is an absolute star! Felipe has taken the time to unilaterally offer his assistance and to respond to all questions during both my material selection and the actual fabrication and install. We were in the market for a granite vanity to upgrade our Master bath. After shopping around, we selected Palazzo because of their variety and selection of granite and price. Working with Paulo was amazingly easy, and fast. The guys who installed the granite were courteous and professional, and did a fantastic job. Only one problem, the granite installed was not the granite I ordered! I was very upset and called Paulo directly. He remained calm and professional throughout the process of reevaluating the granite installation, and once he verified it indeed was not the stone I ordered, quickly reordered the correct stone. The same installers came out demo'd the first installation and reinstalled the correct stone, no charge. Everytime I look at the vanity i will remember the fantastic customer service I received from these folks! I highly recommend Palazzo for your granite installation needs. I have had two baths remodeled by Palazzo, my master and my guest bath. The master was taken down to the studs because I wanted to get rid of the "throne room" in order to enlarge the shower and we had to move plumbing, electric, etc. I worked with Jerry, Arturo, Felipe, Dan and several other guys, all of whom were professional and got the job done beautifully. Jerry helped me get all my ideas on paper and pick out all the finishes, as well as managing the master bath project. Since I wanted a free standing tub and sliding barn door, i was delighted to find someone who would let me shop for those items and once I found them, happy to have them delivered to their store room until we had everything in place to start the job. Both baths are fabulous, just as I'd hoped and dreamed about for a long time and I'm well on my way to modern farmhouse. I would definitely work with Palazzo again on a reno project. I spent a bit more than I wanted to, but it was important to me to have lasting quality that we could enjoy for years to come, and which would add value to our home. I think Palazzo achieved that for me. They are very busy, so be prepared for a wait for your project to begin, but once they started they had workers there every day until completion, which is not always the case with every contractor, as some of my friends and family can attest. read more
