I'm from Los Angeles visiting San Antonio. Off the bat, I thought it was so cool having drinks while getting service. Paid $75 including tip for a deluxe pedicure. During my service the lady seemed to made a comment to her coworker about me being indecisive whether I wanted a manicure or not. Which I ended up saying no due to her behavior. I had one mimosa while having the service.. while I was waiting for my friend I asked for another (thinking I was paying for them anyway), they seemed to have ignored me. After a long time passing by, I asked to purchase another. Lady acknowledged me, telling her team member to get me one, which they ultimately ignored me again. They could've just told me that we were limit 1 or something instead of having me wait & hope for another. read more

So my nails look pretty good. I gave this review 3 stars because the service was okay. The receptionist was nice but the nail tech that did my nails was a little rude. I never get my nails done so I came prepared with pictures of what I wanted. It was really simple, nothing fancy. I asked the nail tech for her opinion on the nail shape and she did not like that. I valued her opinion bc she's the expert. Disclaimer: I hate complaining so it took a lot for me to speak up but I had asked if she could change a small thing and I didn't not receive a very kind response. It was a really small and easy fix. And it was at the beginning of the process so I'm not sure why it was an issue. I apologized a bunch bc I felt bad. I wanted to treat myself for a special occasion but the environment wasn't relaxing and I felt like a bother. The other employees were doing tile work on the floor right behind my chair (and I mean directly behind my chair) so it was just constant scrapping for an hour. The other nail techs were standing around me chatting up a storm right beside me as well. It kind of turned into a overstimulating and not relaxing experience. All of that is fine honestly. I wouldn't care but I just don't want someone that is coming in on a special occasion to expect a relaxing or fun experience. The price was higher than expected but by the time I was checking out I just wanted to leave. The service just wasn't worth the price at all. I work in the service industry so I always tip and of course I did but this time it just didn't seem right. Again my nails look fine, nothing special. There was a lot of glue that I had to dig out under my nail but besides that eh fine. Personally, I won't be coming back. read more

Wow, this place is such a rip off. I got a $51 pedicure, ok then $20 more for gel and $15 more Bc I got a metallic color. So $35 for nail polish lol stop it. I have real nails that are already almond shaped, one broke that had to be fixed. So a fill, plus $5 for one broken nail and $5 more for my nails that are already shaped that way and $5 for long nails??? I didn't get a new set they had to shape. our family went in for pedicures and nails and it was very underwhelming. The staff was very nice, the place very clean and the ammenities were very accommodating. That's about where it stopped, unfortunately.. While they have a vast option for services, I feel they have too many as they were not the same for each of us. My daughters package included a wrap and stone massage, which she didn't get but my package did provide it. My package was missing the hot towel for around the neck. The timing of the services were off as well, and left more to be desired. As for the nails, my daughter showed a picture of the color scheme she wanted to follow and the man doing her nailed essentially talked her into an easier one for him to find instead of searching for colors. My wife's tech while friendly, was not very professional, swearing and speaking very off color. The quality of nail work was not up to par either, my wife asked for Pink and white, the tips were not white, when asked about it, the tech said that is how it is supposed to be. Which isn't true, her nails were uneven and every pitted. My daughters while they looked Ok, were not done to last and already started to lift a few days later and she hated the colors she was talked into. For the most part the staff was great and the place is very cool, but we wont be going back. We spent over $400 for the 4 of us and felt very overcharged for what we left with. read more

They took my temp upon entry. I'm Dave Ramsey-ing it and this was my Fun Money splurge for the week and so I went with the Hawaiian Pedicure (under $50 before tip) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The massage was great! I had a male technician and he was very gentle and did a very good job on my gross and sorely neglected feet! There were lots of colors to choose from, and there is even a little Princess area for little girls to get their nails done in pint-sized nail salon chairs. Save your time and money from going here. These places are a dime a dozen down Protranco. I used to come in every 2 weeks. I would get a fill or full set and nothing super fancy. I am super chill but to leave me in the middle of a service. Oh HELL NO! I went in at 12:10pm on a Sunday. You don't need an appt to be seen- hell 5 other women came and went between the time of my pedicure. I was left sitting for over 30 mins for the pedi to start. Not even a soda was offered for 20 mins. Then another 20 soaking my nails after my pedicure (why not during?). And then the woman started taking off my dip and up and left me to take her kid home- she could have said something. I was left sitting there before someone else asked if I wanted a full set 30 mins later.. I was there for 2 hours with half a service. Go to the Milan Lounge across the street or the one at the H‑E‑B shopping center. Then they want to upcharge me...no. I was correct on trying another salon and only came in again bc it was convenient. I am leaving with glue all over my hands and I get married in a week. And no the pedicure wasn't worth the money and it's mediocre. The paint chips and I refuse to pay an extra $25 for shellac when the work sucks. read more

I chose this salon because of the proximity to my home, I'm new to the area as of December 2022, and the reviews were good. I visited twice, January 21st by myself (gel mani and basic lavender pedi) and on January 22nd I brought my 5 yr old daughter (kids mani/pedi). Although I enjoyed the pedicure service Trish provided, the wait was entirely too long on BOTH days. My pedicure smudged before I left, which I realized afterwards there was never a top coat added to seal the job. Only oil to the cuticles. Which had to later be corrected by the owner Julie. I was pleased with the gel mani color and service. While waiting for my service to start with a prescheduled 10:30AM appointment, I noticed the kid sized Frozen chairs and was looking forward to bringing my daughter for the experience. I made an appointment on the same day (Saturday January 21st) for my daughter to get a kids mani/pedi (no gel, tips or additional features) on Sunday January 22nd at 11AM. We arrived on time for her scheduled appointment at which there were several other clients arriving and the client/nail tech ratio was an obvious imbalance. My daughter picked her colors and we proceeded to wait, after about 5 minutes after checking in, being flexible, I offered to take my daughter to McDonald's which is directly across from the salon in order for them to have few extra minutes. Came back and waited until 12:45 before she was seated, an additional 20 minutes before the water(only) was added to bowl. We sat waited and the owner's young daughter brought over a used towel before an actual nail tech arrived. When the owner came over, she apologized profusely for the wait, expressed her appreciation and explained something, I really didn't hear very well her reasons since I was listening to a podcast and with all the background noise in the salon itself. After my daughter's nails were painted, she had to use the bathroom, and naturally smudged it while returning to her chair. I informed the owner and she said, "you can paint it." Reluctantly, I did exactly that. Waited for her polish to completely dry, still no top coat. I will be adding that when she gets home. And after I checked if both her hands and feet, were dry, we proceeded to the front desk to pay. We had to wait another 7 minutes before anyone came to check us out. And truly the only reason she approached the desk was to book another appointment over the phone. Now comes time to pay, $35, I was charged an additional $10 fee for a "polish change" that never took place. She arrived with out any polish and never had to change anything. It certainly wasn't a grand amount of money, however, after expressing to her several factors; the unsatisfactory wait time, having to actually contribute to the final product by painting my daughter's toes, and the fact that she came with unpolished nails on both hands was not the expectation I had in creating a spa day experience for my daughter. Please spend your money elsewhere. She reiterated that was price and that maybe next time she will talk with to see if any discount would be provided for the inconvenience. It was 2:10PM when we left. Lol. I will not be returning and I hope that this feedback will be useful as an opportunity to learn better customer care. read more

Visited the Palazzo Nail Bar this past weekend and was highly disappointed. We walked in about 620 and requested 2 basic pedis, 1 fill and 1 basic mani with French tip nail polish. Walked out paying $200+. My mothers technician took over an hour to do a pedi. That being the case another technician took care of her mani because it was 15 mins before closing time (8pm). The mani tech was rough with my mother (tugging fingers/pulling arms) not realizing that my mother has minimal movement in her right side due to a stroke. This tech was noticeably irritated and took it out on my mother. Never in our years of receiving nail services had we been treated as such or paid so much for basic services. I will not be going back or recommending. read more

Thought I'd give this new place a try. The technician did a good job on my nails with the SNS product. Having a variety of SNS N.V nail color is a definite plus for this place. Decor was decent, although a tad worn looking for a brand new place. Be warned the pedicure chairs are on an elevated floor, for some reason. You have to take a couple of steps up to get to them... this is an accident waiting to happen. Technician didn't lotion or massage my hands like every other place does before finishing my nails. I had a 30 min wait but I realize due to their service model why reservations are best. I was in no rush and really waned go check out. W When it was my turn I was ushered to my pedicure chair spot and was promptly greeted my the nail tech with her very professional toolkits and started flipping through this impressive thick menu full of choices. They have a cocktail menu and oh my goodness a plethora of options and packages. I enjoyed my mojito and red wine Im usually very frugal with my spending but I decided to treat myself to the $75 Dead Sea package. This came with a scrub rub, hot stone rub, lotion massage, masked, parrafin wax and felt sooo relaxing. I'd love to try all of them and have to say the price was worth it. Came in for gel manicure for myself and my teen daughter. Technicians were friendly and complimented us about our real nails. They said they have never seen anyone grow their nails out like us. They did great on our nails and would go there again. Giving a 4 star because they did not offer us any drinks while everyone else had a drink. Some of you may be saying it's a nail salon what do you expect but for me as a customer I like to experience the whole shabbang. If a company offers complimentary drinks then offer to all the customers. It should be the first thing you offer after seating your customers! It's imperative to not skip this step. Some of us want to relax and have a glass of wine or something while getting pampered. I honestly feel weird asking for a drink because it's a basic thing that they should know. Every salon offers this and for them to skip some customers gets one less star from me‍ it's not a dealbreaker but like I said I want the full treatment. I have filled up 2 stamp cards but they didn't want to honor the 2nd one as advertised because they have changed their menu prices. You have to go 10 times to fill up the card, but they still didn't care about trying to keep me as a customer. The tech was wonderful but the manager is rude. My mother went in the other day to get her dip removed and just get a simple manicure. when she told them what she wanted they seemed annoyed but agreed to do it anyways. anyone who gets dip or does nails knows you have to soak it off, the frustrated lady name Lina, started ripping the dip right off of my moms nails. my mom asked if she should be soaking and let them know it hurt but the lady continued. she ended up ripping off my mothers nail causing her to bleed and walk out crying. my sister went in to talk to somebody about the situation and they totally ignored her. she stood there for about 10 minutes any everybody refused to talk to her. it took my dad calling the manager and myself and my sister walking in there and confronting them before even gave us the time of day.
