Came in today 6/12 and told the server I was gonna share a combo with my grandma and ordered the 2 for $17 ish enchilada combo and I ordered my grandma a cheese enchilada and asked if I could get the pork verde enchilada. She said yes. Food comes out and it's on two separate plates. The combo comes on one plate usually. She comes back I said we got the combo, why is it in two different plates. She said her food is coming. So I'm like huh that's weird. Then ask her again when I get my to go box because it was way too much I food. She said my enchilada wasn't included. I'm like what the f*ck like she literally told me yes I could get it. Def won't be back and don't recommend! Food was mid and over priced! read more

This is a fantastic small restaurant in Idaho. Their salsa and ground beef were flavorful. My friend is a Vegan and they were able to accommodate a plate for him as well. Most of all the service was fantastic. There is an adorable new trainee/busser who was simply fantastic! Keep up the good work doll! read more

We shared a combo plate with an enchilada and a chili relleno, rice and beans. It was all great. We also enjoyed the refried bean dip with our chips. The staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful. read more

* This place was a 4.5 On our road trip we stopped for the night in this tiny town. Hungry, I looked on Yelp for their recommendations. Only 3 places open, we were limited. I did not want to come here because reviews were all over the place, especially about their service. We were actually going to go to one of the other open places but at the last minute decided to give them a try as my husband loves Mexican food. We arrived and were greeted very welcoming and seated right away. Chips, salsa and beans were placed on the table immediately. The salsa and beans were nothing special but we enjoyed them. Beans and salsa was a bit runny. Our server came by and took our drink order. My husband got his beer right away from another employee, a very friendly guy. Our server took our order and we got our food pretty quick. Their burrito was huge! The server told us they use an 8 inch tortilla. The chicken enchiladas with rice and beans were also a great portion. The only thing I would change is adding some more cheese inside the burrito otherwise the food was great. I definitely would recommend this place. Our service by all the workers there was top notch! They all worked as a team. The food and portion size was amazing. read more

If I was able to give it no stars I would, an order was made and by the time I got home and went through everything, they never gave me all of my order,one of the orders of food wasn't cooked all the way. So if someone gets sick we know why. I live quite a ways out from this place and going back was not an option. I or anyone else I know and pass this along to will never order from here again. Definitely a big disappointment, this place used to be really good but not anymore. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. read more

I happened to be working on a fire and was stationed less than a block away from the restaurant so decided to give it a try for lunch... despite the fact I had already been warned it was not great food. It was close and I was hungry with very little time to commit to lunch. I placed a pickup order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived exactly twenty minutes later to pick up my food. I asked if I could have extra salsa and was told it was an extra two dollars which seemed a little steep but I didn't have too big of a problem coughing up the extra $2. I also inquired if my to go order came with chips and was told it would be extra as well... which is when I realized this place was into price gouging... if I had sat down to eat in this restaurant, both the chips, and salsa, would have been free with the meal. And I tipped for the to go order as well. I declined paying any more for my already $15 dollar meal... and this was a lunch special. When I got back to my desk to eat, not more than two minutes away, I opened my order to discover the taco was already completely soggy, and the cheese enchilada was cold... no melty cheese, just a little brick of cheese covered in tortilla and sauce. I ordered the appetizer nachos at 730pm, half hour to close. They are supposed to come with beans, however mine were just chips and cheese. The price was $14-15... for tortilla chips and shredded cheese. When I asked my waitress about the missing beans she informed me that because I came in so late, they were out of beans. This information would have been useful before my dinner came to the table. Also it seemed unfair to be blaming me for "coming in so late" when they stay open and take tables until 8pm. So I asked for her to reduce the price on the bill and she refused! She said the cheese and chips are what cost money not the beans. This seemed absurd and rude and I will never go back. This place has come a long way!! Growing up this restaurant has always been amazing and for a while it felt like it was slipping. But Now!! They staff is sooo friendly and nice. The food is always incredible! Every time I order I am not disappointed one bit. I love that they added beans with the chips and salsa! This is definitely a favorite of mine! Not a lot to choose from in Kamiah but I always steer people away from this place. Bland food. Tamales are SUPER dry. I feel like a lot of their food is pre made then microwaved. Dry meat no matter if it is chicken, beef or pork. Good waitstaff that deserves to serve MUCH better food than this. read more

In all honesty , this is the best Mexican restaurant in the region (with the exception of orofino ) . I ordered pollo con crema - and It was delicious . I also tried some of the steak fajitas - they Are also equally delicious. The service here is wonderful and quick (at least for a small group) . The place also has a good atmosphere. read more

We ordered and picked up food to go on Father's Day. Put it into a hot/cold cooler and 40 minutes later it was still hot and tasty. This is our go-to restaurant in Kamiah because the food and service is always consistently good. You are seated as soon as you walk in and beverages chips an salsa are served while you look over the menu. The parking lot is always full in the evening so we are not the only people who like this place. Portions are large and the menu has a huge selection. Our waitress disappeared after she took our order but was sure to reappear to tell my mom she ordered 1 shrimp cocktail and not 2 when in fact everyone at the table heard her order 2 because she smiled at my wife and told her 1 was for her. I ordered Chile relleno and it was ok at best. Then I had the burrito with shredded beef. Oh Stay away from the shredded beef!!!! Tasted like it was soaking in a bed of cloves for a month. My family and I enjoy eating here when we get a chance but today was a VERY disappointing experience. I completely expected it to be busy with it being Cinco de Mayo but it's a family tradition for our family bc my it's my husbands birthday but unfortunately he was not able to be with us but we decided to celebrate anyway. Today we were there as soon as the doors opened and were seated right away. We had the lady who seated us ask us what drinks we would like and we ordered them with her. As she brought our drinks we did ask for some beans for our chips which Octavio brought to us very promptly. It all went downhill from there. The lady who seated us then came back and asked us our order in which we gave her our food order. She walked away and while awaiting our food we noticed quite a few tables come in and get their food while we were still waiting. We stopped the lady who seated us and asked us our order how much longer for our food and she left came back and sat down behind us and started rolling silverware in which I asked her if she was able to get an estimated time on our food. She replied there is still an order ahead of ours and hadn't started our order yet. This was 45 minutes after we have arrived so I told her to please just cancel our order and I would be paying for our drinks and chips/salsa and be leaving. Octavio then came back out and explained that the lady who served us our drinks, chips and salsa, and asked us our order was not a waitress so the order did not get put in. I then told him I would like to pay our drinks and chips/salsa and be on our way and for the next time I highly suggested they let the customers know the situation after they realize the mistake so they aren't sitting there wondering why it's taking so long and getting frustrated. Then the older lady came out trying to argue with me telling me I shouldn't have gave our order to the bus lady and instead gave it to her waitstaff, I replied I thought she was our waitstaff as she is the one who took our order, how are we to know who was supposed to take our order when she came to our table and asked our order. She then tried to argue with me and I will be honest I got upset and she got upset with raised voices and Octavio smoothed the situation and she continued to try to argue with me telling me I was wrong for giving the lady my order. I asked to pay for my drinks and our chips and salsa in which we were told not to worry about it and we left VERY disappointed and upset. I am unsure if I will be back as that lady was very disrespectful and didn't need to be so rude when I was simply trying to pay my drinks and chips/salsa and leave. On the plus side Octavio is such a sweet boy and I hope they know what a great employee he is and keep him as long as possible!! read more

The female that is always working (owner, or manager not sure) but she is very hard working. Always polite she always is nice to my family and speaks to my dad in Spanish. The food is good and service is a little slow but not bad when you are working with only two wait staff. Tonight we had a brand new waitress, young girl, had nooooooo clue it was her first night and very first waitress job, this girl is a keeper. She did a very good job!!!!!
