Palermo's provided the cookies this evening in our community. They significantly beat the price of Doris & Joseph's. The assorted trays were fresh, attractive & delicious.

I was reading a lot of the negative reviews before coming here and i have to say i have no freakin clue what any of you are talking about. I walked in and i said hi to the woman behind the counter. This is an italian spot! It has italian feel, up north attitude (not a bad thing, it means they are real people and do not hide their feelings like a lot of other people) and its a mom and pop place. I ordered a tiramisu, S cookies, and a handful of cannoli's. They were absolutely incredible. You can tell all of it was home made. I told my step dad who is a sicilian and New Yorker that we need to go back.

It's always a pleasure going to Palermo's. I can smell the confections in the air. I needed fresh baked Italian bread to complete our supper. Semolina bread. Wow. So flavorful and fresh. Also can't go wrong with picking up some pastries while I'm there. The owner and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the bread and bakery items they make. There are some tables and chairs where you can enjoy some pastries and cup of espresso. They really made you feel comfortable and appreciated.

Cute bakery open early in town. As you park, music is playing on the outside of the building. Fun space out on the patio to sit and enjoy coffee and baked goods. Inside looks very Italian. A few tables to sit and enjoy the morning or afternoon. A whole wall filled with baked goods for you to try. Lovely service. Thanks for an easy choice for snack time and coffee. Always pleasant and delicious. Had an almond honey croissant, coffee and took some soup home for later. Servers were helpful, setting me in a wheelchair offered to carry my items to the outside table I wanted to sit at with a friend. Many sunny and shaded places to sit and enjoy the food, beverage, conversation, and breeze.

When you say authentic Italian bakery. Go ahead and think of this place. Actually, don't think. Drive here. I came here for a mid day sweet snack. Ended up getting cannoli, tiramisu cake and a fruit tart. My lawd... so so good. One more time: so so good. Best cannoli I've had. Rich and full serving of the tiramisu cake. The tart was the healthy snack I needed lol. Very empty place with not many workers. But I was greeted and helped quickly. I ate there, outside. They have some outdoor seating. Quiet area despite the nearby busy intersection. Great selections.

Not bad not amazing. Sausage bread hmm salty but what did I expect ha ha Almond cookie with cannoli cream was very good! Sausage bread was fine just didn't wow me. Would be nice if the sausage and cheese was throughout. We havent visited Palermo's since Christmas quite a few years ago so it was nice to be back. The cookies look terrific. Tomorrow we have a Tony Soprano waiting in our fridge for us to try

My girlfriend and I were hanging out craving cannoli's as we sometimes do and we got on a discussion on who makes the best. She ended up taking me to the amazing Italian bakery, Palermo's. Palermo's was established in 1961 but it has it roots in the owners grandfather who was a baker in 1920's Sicily. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in a real deal Italian bakery. It feels like the kind you find in New York. The walls are covered with pictures of some of their famous clients like Mother Theresa and Barbara Streisand. They appear on local TV segments are involved with local organizations such as the Italian American Club, Susan G. Komen, the Boca Raton Hotel, the Boynton Beach Woman's Club. My eyes were glued to the cases filled with beautiful Italian desserts including cakes, cookies, bread, and Italian pastries. In other refrigerated cases are enticing soups and take and go meals. The cannoli is their signature item and it was wonderful. I also took a piece of crumb cake which was the best I've had since I lived up north. They offered us a great deal on a whole cake but my scale wouldn't allow me to take it. If I had a function to go to I would definitely come here to pick up a cake or a box of cookies. I hope to make it back to Boynton to get some of the pignoli cookies for the holidays.

We make a stop every time we are in town. My father-in-law loves the 1/2 lb eclairs. He divides it eats 1 all week only. We love the Italian cookies, biscotti and all of the pastries. The fruit tarts are delicious.

Outstanding delightful ambiance with scrumptious pastries and cakes. The women behind the counter go out-of-their way to please their customers. Donna helped me choose a strawberry cream cake, a chocolate boat and another delectable chocolate mousse small cake to please all members of my family! And since it was my birthday, she created a frosting card dedicated to Gigi (me!) Everyone is thoughtful and kind!! I even bought an eggplant small pizza, meatballs and sauce so I didn't have to cook dinner I can't believe it took me 20 years in Palm Beach county to find this treasure!!!

They unfortunately discontinued it, so we wound up on a search for it across the area. That's how we came across KC Market. The store is probably the biggest Kosher market I've ever seen. They have a huge selection of meats, dairy, prepackaged foods and ready to go meals. Also, there are many high quality items from Israel, including cheeses, hummus, chips, frozen foods, sweets, you name it. As with most Kosher markets though, the big issue is price. They are so expensive! We used to get that package of Emek Light cheese for about $7 a lb at Costco. Here it's nearly $10 for half a pound. And it's pretty much the same story with every product. Other than the prices, very solid market. I'm not often in the market for a Kosher stuff, but I would gladly stop by again if something popped up. Four stars from me.

I'm not kosher, but if you're in the area you might find this grocery market as interesting as I did. There are a lot of various departments and sections in addition to the shelves full of canned and packaged goods and the cases of frozen items. One of the first things I saw was a kiosk making felafel sandwiches and plates. Then there was the bakery ... with all sorts of cakes and pastries. Did I mention the tall case with all types of fresh made hummus? The long table with large blocks of halvah had me stopping. Halvah is a semi sweet dessert/candy made from sesame seeds and honey. Each large rectangular block was marked with its flavor is sold by the pound and was under a plastic cover. I watched as two ladies made their selections and a man came by to cut off a slice to their directions. He didn't like that they wanted a taste first to help them decide. I chose blindly a small thin slice of the dark chocolate variety. There was a sushi section, meat department, packaged, and a separate butcher area, a fish department, and all sorts of fresh dairy products and frozen goods. The ready to go food cases were large. I stopped here. too, to see what they had. I wound up getting some bow tie pasta with buckwheat groats (kasha varnishkes). Kosher food is relatively expensive in general. And now even more so -- as non-kosher foods have increased in price, as well. The meat prices are the highest cost, but other items are more reasonable especially if you are getting something unique or not easily found at your local grocery store. Checkout was fast and easy as I only had a few items and there was no line at the cashier I chose. Glad I stopped by to explore.
