Tucked away right in the heart of Delray, this spot is a total hidden gem--you actually have to keep your eyes peeled while walking down Atlantic Ave or you might miss it. The service was solid, though be prepared to wait a few minutes for your drink. They make the juice from scratch right when you order it, so the freshness is definitely worth the extra time. Honestly, though, the ambiance is what sold me. It's the perfect vantage point for people-watching on the Ave; I could have stayed there all afternoon just taking in the view. I didn't grab any food this time, but the pastries in the case looked incredible. I'll definitely be heading back to give those a try next time. read more

We stopped for gelato after happy hour as we were walking along East Atlantic Ave. The little shop was cute and a fun vibe with a few seats inside and outside. The cashier was nice and helpful but the gelato itself was underwhelming. We first sampled the Oreo but that was a little too dark chocolate forward. We ended up going with stracciatella (essentially vanilla with chocolate shavings). It was fine but quite expensive ($7+tax) for just a little scoop. I don't think we'll be back. read more

We stopped by for dessert after having brunch nearby. The small shop has been here about 8/9 years. It was cool inside with a couple tables and a window counter. There's also outside seating too. The gal working there was delightful -- Italian, but with a British accent! We got to try a couple samples first before ordering. I chose one scoop of coconut and he got a scoop of passion fruit (sorbet). Even though this was a small, it was rich and creamy and filling. The coconut had real shreds in it and was delicious. After brunch we walked to Gelato-Go for dessert. The manager happily welcomed us and explained that the gelato was all homemade with very few excess ingredients. The pistashio gelato was excellent with a very smooth texture. Price for a small cup hovered around $6.00. Popped inside to get out of the heat for a moment and check out the flavors. Loved the samples of gelato from the fun employee with a wonderful British accent. Gave me little spoons of two different flavors to excite my taste buds. The pistachio was light and creamy a lot lighter than regular ice cream. This gelato was so smooth, creamy, and perfectly refreshing on a hot day. The employee we interacted with was so sweet - probably one of the friendliest people we encountered in Delray. They also were knowledgeable about what was gluten-free compared to the other gelato shop nearby, which didn't seem to be sure, so we left there and went to Gelato-go instead, and I'm glad that we did. read more

We found this jewel while walking down the sidewalk. Some of the best gelato ever. Tried several samples and all were delicious. Settled on peach, Oreo, and dulce leche. Go here for Gelato! Handmade and homemade, many clever delicious flavors, reasonably priced. The young shop manager (owner?) was short-staffed so he was in the back making gelato and there was no one to greet us. Also the tables and chairs outside hadn't been dried off from the common rain storm. Bottom line is that The gelato was delicious and tasted authentic. read more

Needed a little gelato on our way back to the hotel and stopped into this spot to try it. I prefer gelato most of the time instead of ice cream and this is one of those nights. They had all sorts of flavors but we stuck with the hazelnut. It is a small shop but it packs a punch. If I go back I will try the oreo gelato since I am a sucker for anything oreo. Super friendly, helpful and laid-back, the people who work here are gems. Gelato-go is a franchise, but the gelato and pastries are still high-quality. It's as good as you're going to get on the main strip of Delray Beach. The place has only been open for about a month as of this review, but business is brisk: we strolled in around 9pm and they were almost completely sold out of gelato. Hard to imagine, but they had almost no stock left. I believe there's only one table inside, but 2 tables outside. Otherwise you're going to walk and eat. Of course, traffic here will be miserable and parking double abysmal, so they're relying on foot traffic, which is the life's blood of Atlantic Avenue. read more

I am from New Jersey. came in to try a few flavors and def buy one.. but I kept getting told I can't try more than a couple. Was going to get one for me and my sister but I decided not to because of the service. That's crazy... because I honestly wanted to try a few flavors before choosing one. I purchased one anyway but this is crazy and the customer service was not kind. Maybe not the girls fault because it's "policy" but I was very very close to leaving after she said I couldn't try one. Not as creamy as most gelatos I've had. Lacking a bit of flavor. I had the marscapone Nutella and the Nutella was barely present. I would say this is more comparable to ice cream than gelato. Guy at counter seemed impatient and ready to go, despite having 45m left until close. read more

The staff didn't really welcome us in, didn't explain anything about the shop or the flavors, barely smiled, and quickly disappeared to the back after serving us and had not returned even by the time we finished our ice creams. It felt like we were bothering them rather than being welcomed as customers. For nearly $10 per cone, the service needs to match the pricing. The atmosphere is nice and the ice cream was enjoyable, but the overall experience did not feel worth the cost.
