    Chicken flautas

It's like home away from home! I ordered the chicken flautas which we're amazing! My husband ordered the beef torta and was blown away. Not only are the meals good portions but also fair pricing! We also ordered mangonadas, some paletas, and ice cream! All so delicious! Highly recommend

Awesome! This place is a little out of the way from the nicer parts of DFW, but highly recommend! They sell regular food too (lot of people were dining when we arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday evening) but you have to try the paletas (Mexican popsicles). A variety of flavors and only $1!!!!! I got the strawberries and cream. Others in the group got strawberries and mango/Chile and also enjoyed theirs as well, calling it "refreshing". If you are feeling adventurous, you can also buy a whole box of 20 for $18! Basically, the same quality popsicle as Steel City Pops and Berrynaked, but you are paying $1 instead of like $5. Check it out!!

This place is the Shisnit! You will not be disappointed! Everything is good! I come here at least once a week and my girls all love it.

Cheap paletas (Mexican popsicles) for $1. They have about the same quality of Steel City Pops, just in a different area in town, and cheaper prices. This location also has authentic Mexican food and random snacks and Mexican candy. Workers are nice, and a quiet location in Farmers Branch.

    Gorditas

Loved their gorditas. Tried chicken and beef and both were very tasty. Small size so perfect for trying different varieties. Simple and fried to perfection with a touch of crispiness.

My family is visiting from CA and we tried to find some ice cream . Luckily I found this place on Yelp and we each got 3 paletas and so far the ones we have tried have been AMAZING Great deal of 20 paletas for $15

This place is so good! We love their snacks! The fruit bowls are amazing and so are the aguas!

We had a dubai crepe, honestly, it's the size of a New York pizza slice. I thought the kataifi was just at the top "crust" but the entire crepe was stuffed with it. Smooth, creamy chocolate & pistachio drizzle with the perfect crunch in every bite. It's RICH, good but definitely get a drink & maybe add some strawberries for acidity to cut into the thick richness of it all. I'd recommend sharing this, even with just two of us it was alot. I think it was $15, with the scoop of ice cream. The staff was nice & dessert came out quickly. The girl who cashed us out asked how everything was, we were asking her opinion when ordering & she was super nice. We'll definitely stop in again!

There was a decent crowd and it didn't take long at all to order. The cashier was super sweet & allowed me to try a sample of the red velvet cake ice cream (it was mid) so I ordered the brownie sundae with a scoop of vanilla. It includes a free topping. Of course I ordered oreos. The brownie was warm but it was underwhelming. The inside was cute & aesthetically pleasing & the inside of the restaurant was clean which is most important! Idk that I'd go back but they have a wide variety of desserts from crepes to mini waffles to milkshakes. Check it out if you're in the area

Thankfully they offer small samples as I really did not know which one I wanted to go with. Also, be advised that the little displays of the sizes are vastly underestimated. A kids scoop they said was around the size of a golfball. But when I asked for a kid's scoop it was close to twice that. I definitely got way more ice cream than I expected (though I won't complain since it was delicious). The one employee who was working was quiet, but patient and helpful. We were a large group with people ranging from 4 years to 60 years old and everyone got the same level of attention and service. I will note that because the location is so small, I wouldn't plan on eating in. Or even at the one small bench right outside. But luckily they are located right next to a beautiful courtyard area with plenty of places to sit, relax, and enjoy some homemade ice cream. It's a perfect treat for a warm Texas day. Ah, who am I kidding. It was in the 60s when we were there and it still hit the spot!

It was close to closing time when we arrived and there was one worker in the front. He was patient with me in deciding which flavors to get. The parlor looked very "old fashion" outside and inside. I love the unique look. After going back and forth, I ended up getting two scoops of mint chocolate in a sugar cone. Yum! My husband got a hot chocolate. He said that it was very chocolatey. There were about a dozen flavors and four sherbets. It was a good number of choices. There was also a contest by the seating area. I thought that was a great way to get the community involved and other restaurants.

That being said, one would think we'd get "good" service - also not the case. Based on Yelp (and Google) reviews, we were served likely by the owner. I asked for two samples and this man was so cheap he barely nicked the ice cream with the corner of the square spoon and called it a "sample." In other words, the sample was so tiny it didn't even cover 1/4 of the small sample spoon. I wish I were making this up yall, I was mind blown. I ended up settling for a flavor I didn't ask to sample (chocolate cookie dough, I believe it was). It was just okay. Nothing to miss or write home about. When I asked for that flavor, he almost sounded disappointed I didn't get the dark chocolate flavor (one of the ice creams I asked to sample) saying that's one of their best sellers. Sir, if I would've been able to actually TASTE it, I may have very well chosen it. We were visiting town and let me just say that based on that poor experience, I won't ever consider going back nor would I be able to recommend it.

Holy mother of Moses... I could eat that Nutella nitro ice cream every single day. No regrets. The place wasn't too busy, but we did have to wait a bit--some bigger groups were ahead of us, waiting on their frozen delight. While we waited, we started chatting with one of the groups and found out we shared a birthday! After we got our glorious ice cream, we sat outside and that same group came out and asked me to take a photo of them. Then their mom took a photo of me and her son--because, you know, birthday twins! It was such a sweet moment. I love connecting with strangers, and we were laughing so hard it made the whole experience even better. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed--nice, but short on words and not super chatty. Still, they got the job done and handed me my Nutella masterpiece, so I'm not mad. I love love my ice cream made this way. It's my absolute favorite.
