We walk into a nice very clean fruteria. It has a great menu of everything they serve from tacos to fruit cups. I ordered a large Rusa which is a concoction of ice, Squirt, 3 different kinds of chopped fruit with Chamoy sauce in a large styrofoam cup. The problem here is there was literally only a hand full of fruit for $10 plus tax. Way too expensive for mostly soda and ice. I think they are way too high for what they give you! Pina colada was good, corn/elote in a cup with Cheetos or with original were both kinda average, I'd prefer roasted or grilled corn over these steamed and watered down canned corn (or that's what it tasted like) also tried this random spicy drink that was just let's say, very interesting (probably an acquired taste if you drink it growing up), the flavor was so strong we only took a few sips and gave up. I've passed it a few times but didn't stop in until my boyfriend came home with a mangonada he picked up after some tacos in the same plaza. The staff is awesome and fast! Their counters are an OCDs dream: organized and clean. Munchies bar is a great concept here in Irving fitting for the demographic and great addition to the shopping plaza. I love the set up and they must have a graphic designer on their team with their logo plastered on the tables, counters and chalkboard wall. The space is a mix between modern and urban with their concrete floors' exposed brick. They have snacks to please everyone whether you are looking for icecream, weight loss shakes, cooler drinks and spicy chips. I tried this place when I was pregnant, I was craving one from CA since we just moved I had no idea where to get one from out here. So we looked up places and this shop popped up and I am so glad it did! During my pregnancy I craved watermelon so at that time that's what I got was anything watermelon and I was not disappointed and neither was my baby now I love the mangonadas from here! so we are approaching 2 yrs here in Dallas and this became our go to place when we want something like this. This place is very clean & the staff are so friendly. Service was so fast and we ordered quite a few things. Pictured is watermelon agua fresca which was so amazing with actual watermelon chunks in it, we enjoyed it so much we ordered a second one to go! Fresas con crema was perfect and way bigger than I expected for the price honestly. Elote was so good, I just wish they had a mayo option instead of just crem.
