The day after booking and paying for this property we get an email from Patricia requesting another almost $500 or she will cancel our booking! We contact VRBO who tells us not to pay because she has a legally binding contract with us for the price that we paid since we had already paid. They say they are contacting her and everything will be worked out. Well four days later Patricia cancels our rental now we are searching for another rental with even slimmer pickings in Maui for Christmas. After reading other reviews I'm so glad we aren't staying in anything under her management. She is running a scam trying to get more money after entering a contact with paid customers.

On July 31, 2025--just before the realty office closed--I received an email stating that my reservation was canceled because the owner decided to renovate. When I called the office immediately to ask about alternative options, I was shocked by the treatment I received. The representative I spoke with, Jessica, was rude, unprofessional, and completely unsympathetic. She raised her voice, told me they "aren't making any money," and insisted I shouldn't be upset because they were "just doing their job." When I reminded her that she's in customer service and should be more understanding toward someone whose vacation had just been upended, she told me it wasn't her fault and offered no help or solutions. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of notice, the timing of the cancellation, and the unprofessional response made it clear that customer care is not a priority for Bello Realty. I will never rent from Bello Realty again, and I would not recommend them to anyone planning a vacation to Maui to rent through them.

They provide a solution to any issue for myself or my guests, often within minutes or at the most 24 hours. They have connections to all the trades and can get a plumber, handyman etc over to my property often the same day, which is critical to keeping up the level of service I want for my guests. (Producing a repair person on the same day is no mean feat in the islands.) They are personable and professional, a pleasure to work with, and charge far less than a traditional property management company. I recommend them highly to any vacation rental owner.

Jeremiah, Manager, was a joke! So we have now filed formal complaints with multiple jurisdictions and have demanded a full refund from VRBO and CB Rentals. Consumer misrepresentation is a crime and we will not sit back and be victimized by either party. If you see CB Vacation Rentals as a host - RUN away as fast as your feet will carry you. We are seasoned global travelers and have never experienced anything remotely like this. And we travel 1/2 the year to remote places where even in remote Patagonia, India, Mongolia, the Mekong...have never experienced such lies.

It ended up being the perfect spot for our family. On the day of the shoot, Cynthia was warm, kind, and so much fun to work with. She made the entire experience feel relaxed and effortless, and she was especially wonderful with our nine-year-old son, easily coaxing genuine smiles and making him feel comfortable the whole time. The final photos absolutely blew us away.
